I understand wetin u dey go thru. i hope you do realise Turkey is not the ideal destination if your intention is to work and study, believe me unless you have enough cash, you may end up been stranded there. but if you have money and you plan to use turkey as an exit strategy out of the country to better places, hmmmm ok,go ahead. but i wouldnt advise anybody to waste money on Turkey and cyprus, believe me, its not worth it. been there and done that. do take care and plan your waka well,ok, God go do am one day. no be stone,na beans, one day e go done. |

hey dude, my advice for you is not to bother going to Nigeria at this time at all.The country is presently going through a crisis and is definitely not a good time to visit. If you must visit there are some things you also must do. first ask your mum if she is in contact with any of your fatherĀ“s close relative, then you can take it from there (i mean making plans to visit your fathers family). secondly,do not be in a rush about the visit issue, take time to do some research like what state is your dad from really(Southern Nigeria is made up of a lot of states).seek information about his surviving family members etc. that way when you infact do visit the country you would know who you are visiting and where you are visiting. you can ask any questions you feel like asking here, you will be surprised by the amount of information you will get but be careful with who you choose to deal with in your quest to search for your fatherland.(Nigeria, just like any other country in the world have its own fair share of not so good people) I applaud your decision to go visit your fatherland, take your time and plan it well so it will be worthwhile. Where in Germany are you? I am in friedricshafen,Baden wurtemburg here in germany. cheers |

justme thanks for your post but i want you to note this: those who have had their palm kernel cracked for them by benevolent spirit should not laugh or critize the misfortunes or difficulties of others.you should realize that before a sane man with a degree and no job for years decides he wants to go somewhere else(legal or not) to try and see what life has to offer, then you should know he has endured beyond what can be imagined. what else is there really left to do.do i sit and let life just pass me by or take a chance and see what/where it leads to. is not like am asking you or anybody to kill somebody or do what has never been done before, all am asking is advice and how it is done, so please spare me the bullshit. cheers |

maybe not in two weeks i know.but what about subsequently. most people in europe actually came in on visiting visa before becoming legal. what and what did they do andwaht are the options? |
![]() |
@kennybuda and justwise i have a 2 weeks scheghen visa but i dont plan to come back, am looking at ways of hustling for a while before going back to school. what exactly can i do to get legal? have considered the direct student route but the whole issue of bank statement and the requisite funding has been a pain in the ass for me over the years, hence am resorting to this route of coming in wif a visitors visa. advice genuinely needed please. if what you have to say is ot ideal to post in a public forum, kindly send me a mail.would really appreciate your advice. <canlormail@yahoo.com> |

I have been issued a 2 weeks scheghen visa for visit purpose. What are my options of actually changing status when i get in,say to student category or any other status. I know people would want to judge me and ask why choose to take this route but the fact is i have tried studet visas in the past and have been denied on the ground of insufficient funds.i am sponsoring myself so the bank statement issue has been a pain in the house for me. My plan is to husstle for a while, save and then go back to school for my masters. which of the scheghen countries is relatively flexible with regards to becoming legal(getting papers) and a good ground for hustle? what are my options really? your sincere suggestions would be greatly welcomed |

@jennykadry interesting lady, impressed by your bits on the austraslia info section but recently your post seem to be about shagging or fucking somebody. hmmmmmmmmmmmm, are you on heat baby? i do hope you have the goods to back up the talk though, or, ciao |
![]() |
@jennykadry & co yea, but before one gets to the sponsorship tingy, you'd first need to have your skills, education and work experience assessed by VETASSESS. This Vetassess body, are they really biased towards work experience, skills etc from NAIJA? my profession is on the in demand list and my experience is okay and i had good points on the self assessment, but am kinda skeptical to proceed wif the assessment stuffs(which is the beginning of the whole immigration tingy) cos i dont want to pay over 500 dollars and at the end get a negative assessment. are you in aussie as an immgrant or student? |
![]() |
@jennykadry do you know of anybody who has had their skills and educational certificates assessed before the application for permanent resident, rumour has it that nigerian certificates always get a negative assessment by the assessment body(vetassess) ,how true is that. and for those who have had theirs positively assessed, what and what did you do? would really like to know. |

I wish to inquire if anybody on the forum who graduated from a nigerian university have had their skills assessed before. ie sending your degree certificate and transcripts for assessment prior to filling in your state sponsorship request for either the 176 or 475 visa category. how is the process like,i have been told that graduates from nigeria rarely do not get positive response from skills/education assessment body. how true is it? what and what do i need to do to ensure i am positively assessed. looking forward to hearing from you guys cheers. |

please house, can somebody provide me details of what specific documents to show ties to my country. i applied for a visitors visa to canada on a training program and i was told i have been refused based on insufficient ties to my country of residence/citizenship. what then do i need to show ties to both countries of residence and citizenship. i am a masters degree student in north cyprus. thanks folks. |
