Please can someone help with the Commision address in Lagos to put on letter of self introduction. I'm seeing two addresses, one in VI and one in Ikoyi, so I'm confused. I don't mind if someone can please share a format of what the address should be like. Thank you. |

Good day, guys. Please is it true that it's faster to get a quicker response if you apply for a SA stidy visa in Abuja than in Lagos? I need advice before knowing where to apply to, even though Lagos is more convenient. |

tannystacey: Please, does this mean I don't need a PCR Test before departure from SA if I have taken the vaccine? And does it also mean I don't have to pay for or take the Day 2 and Day 7 PCR Test in Nigeria? |

lymelyte: I do not think it would be better. I just need to be in Nigeria in October. I can't afford to try and renew here in SA at this point and the visa does not come out by October. I won't be able to travel, since I would have to wait for the feedback before I can travel given that my current visa would e expired by then. My two housemates' renewal is already on the fifth month here in SA, and their visas expired already, so, they can't travel for now. |

Good day, guys. My study permit is expiring in October and I need to be in Nigeria by September-December at least, and I won't be done with my training here in SA by then due to the pandemic, so I need to come back. My friends that have put in a renewal application here in SA since March have still not gotten feedback, even though their visas expired in June already. 1. Please what are the documents I would need to reapply from Nigeria? 2. Do I need to get an SA police report for my reapplication in Nigeria? Thank you. |

Good day guys. Please I need help. I studied mechanical engineering at undergraduate level and I'm looking to do a masters in Australia. Having worked in the aviation sector for 3 years after school, I'm torn between doing masters in aviation or masters in aerospace engineering at RMIT. Please, I need recommendation as to which one favours a PR in future, as this will act as the ultimate factor in my decision. Thanks. |

Good day folks. Just remembered to come back here to share my experience because my application had taken too long. I applied for a study visa on 23/08/2019. My visa was approved on 17/02/2020. I was going to withdraw my passport that day for another application I had started in another country, but I fell sick that morning, so I couldn't go to VFS office that day, I got a mail that my passport was ready for collection in the evening. It was delivered to me the next day with study visa approved. The application is for flight training in SA. Thanks to all those that has been providing valuable information on this thread. Cheers. 3 Likes |

Good day guys. Please, I'll like to know if it's possible to get an Australian student visa if someone whom you are not related to is willing to cater your tuition and living expense, but not willing to transfer the funds to your parents' account. What are the chances? |

Good day guys. Please, I would like to know if taking up the study abroad option in Germany that my uni offers, say for a semester or two out of my 2 years Masters program in Australia, affects my post study visa application or I have to spend all my 2 years in Australia for studies for me to be eligible for the post study visa. Thanks 1 Like |

And the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs doesn't even run an active website. I'm planning on writing the ministry a letter next week to look into this sham going on. They need to call SA to order. If the SA High Commission in Nigeria has a qouta for Nigerian applicants they want admitted into their country per year, they need to let us know, and not keep extorting money from people and then hold on to their passports for months and months. It's annoying. 1 Like |

yacha77: I don't know about your Flight School, but most Flight Schools in SA don't require any school certificate to apply for training as long as you meet the age requirement. So, you don't need to notarize or certify any certificate, transcript or any document for that matter, as you won't be needing them for visa application, unless you are below 18, then your birth certificate has to be. I also applied for a study visa for flight training 4 weeks ago. I did submit my university certificate and NYSC certificate along, even though I didn't use them in the admission process. And no, they weren't notarized or certified. Cheers |

Good day to you all. I am applying for a study visa and I am planning on submitting in Lagos this week, but I have a question. I just got the Bank Statement of my sponsor yesterday and it was 6 months even though I told him I only needed 3. I want to know if the vfs office in Lagos would accept 6 months, as it is stated on the requirements that only 3 months is required for Lagos submission. I would have gotten a new Bank Statement from my sponsor, but he left the country yesterday to be back September ending which is too late. Can I go ahead with the 6 months statement or I will be turned back? Please, has anyone been in this situation before? |

Good day to you all. In a case where the program of study on your admission letter is different from the major on your I-20, however similar though, which one should one input in the DS-160 form? Also, is there a way to still mail an already submitted DS-160 to yourself just to go over what you've submitted again? Thanks |
