Got pregnant July 2020 with fibroids
Had miscarriage in September 2020( worst experience of my life)
We stopped trying and went for Myomectomy in December 2020. Thank God for speedy recovery even though constipation dealt with me.

We were told to wait till 3 months before trying again so fast forward to April, May, June, nothing. So l changed to another doctor who sent me for another HSG.My tubes came out fine.

He monitored me for July cycle and gave me the HCG trigger shot. We followed with fasting and midnight prayers, hubby is very cooperative too, l bless God for him.

I am happy to announce to you that God has answered our prayers, still like a dream. l got a BFP this week via test strip. I also did blood test yesterday and it was positive too. From my calculation, we are 6 weeks. I will see my doctor on Tuesday to check heart beat and all. Wish me luck

Hello Fam remember me?? I want to announce to you all that l finally put to bed a bouncing baby boy that looks so much like me!!!, l had him via CS due to a previous myomectomy. TEAM March we are 2weeks today. All glory to God. For al those still on this Ttc journey, please be strong, it will end in praise. Hallelujah!!!

Please has any one here suffered repeated missed abortions ( early miscarriage when baby stops growing or baby never even grew) and how they overcame it??

So sorry about your loses but apart from the genetic testing, have you bern placed on progesterone injections before. It's usually recommended at the early stage of pregnancy for women who have history of early miscarriage. Two times a week for 5 weeks. It supports the foetus to grow. If you have not, discuss with your doctor. Also change your doctor if you are not getting results. May God answer us all.

How do sabi Mamas come in contact with well grounded gynecologists??
The one I used (a local champion in Ikorodu) for the whole of last year, although old and experienced kept pumping me with Chlomid which I used for up to 7 cycles until my partner sought second opinion from another gynecologist.

Can I use the HCG trigger shot without the supervision of a doctor?

7 cycles, Thats too much. Clomid thins out your uterine wall and you need a thick wall for implantation.

For the trigger shot, you need to monitored by a Gynaecologist through transvaginal scan before you use it. Reason is the egg has to get to a particular size , not sure but l think 18m abi mm before you trigger. So please don't use it blindly.

Above all eh, prayer is the key. This thing don turn me to prayer warrior, God is the ultimate.

Repeat test in a week or two weeks time. The HCG is still building up. Please calm her down.

I complained of dryness and not noticing CM and the normal ovulation pain I used to have for the past 2 cycles.
So, he prescribed the drug for me to start at my CD2. ( to be taken for 5 days)

I'm just confused now.
Should I just go and do HSG first, to know the state of my tubes?

I understand how you feel my sister but first of all you need to calm down and take it easy on your self. The first Gynaecologist l was using before the fibroid operation gave me Clomid to take but upon my own investigation, l discovered that taking clomid when you have fibroid is like adding fuel to fire. It will increase the size and increase your bleeding.

So l dumped both the doctor and the Clomid , travelled and used another special doctor for the surgery. When l came back, due to distance l couldn't continue with the doctor that operated me but he is very good, so l had to look for doctor number 3.

And l am happy l achieved result with him.

Please hold on with that Clomid, it causes vaginal dryness too and can complicate issues. Look for another doctor , a specialist and narrate your case.

I hope he suggests tests to be done before rushing to Clomid. Goodluck and keep us posted.

I went to see my gynecologist and he prescribed clomid for me. He made the prescription after some complaints I made.

I told him I am scared of the drug because I have read many reviews about the drug. He assured me I will be fine.

Mothers, pls I'm still scared oo. I don't want anything to scatter my system. I had myomectomy 4 months ago.

What exactly was his explanation for giving you Clomid? I had a myomectomy too in December last year

After six months, l went to see a doctor, he prescribed HSg to check and be sure the tubes are open. The result came out fine, during my ovulation period, he did transvaginal scan to track matured follicles, he found 2, so he prescribed the hcg trigger shot and asked us to baby dance after 36 hours. We also backed up with prayers, To the glory of God , l am in my 2nd trimester.

What am l saying?? Has he monitored your cycle or done other tests before he prescribed Clomid? He may wrong, he may be right.

Please how do l handle catarrh, cough and now Nose bleeding. I just entered 2nd trimester. Though it's light and watery , l can't smell anything too. No pain and l heard it's common in pregnancy.
