The last administration mandated that all wheat flour used in baking bread and confectionaries must contain 10 percent cassava flour. That percentage was later reduced to 5 percent because of lack of adequate cassava processors and cassava flour. The Flour Millers Association of Nigeria donated N500 million to kick-start the Cassava Empowerment Fund from which potential processors could borrow to start processing. Now, the fund has been exhausted, how can we raise more fund for Cassava Empowerment?
