Benin is under Abuja. I wrote in benin recently and picked up my results last week here in Abuja.

elfmann:

How can Benin be under Abuja? My take is: mail works to British Council, 20 Thompson Ave, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Four digit number not five.

Ensure you put in your correct date of birth and passport number.

If it still shows "No Result found" then it has probably not been uploaded.

Elixir123:

Congrats bro. Please I've been unable to see mine.Under candidate number ,I imputed just the 5 digit number.I hope that's OK ?

If you are not happy with your IELTS score, you can apply for an Enquiry on Results Service (EOR) ie Remarking through the IELTS Administrator at the British Council centre where you sat for your exam. The cost for Standard IELTS remark is NGN15,000 payable by Banker's draft addressed to British Council. You will also need to fill the EOR form at BC office and submit your original Test Report Form.

This procedure takes six to eight weeks from the date your scripts are received by the Senior Examiners in the UK. Giving consideration to the travel time to and from the UK, it may take ten(10) weeks from the date of your payment for the Enquiry on Result service.

If your score increases after the EOR you will receive a new Test Report Form and the EOR cost will be refunded. Therefore, keep your payment receipt with care as this is required to give refund. If your score remains the same original Test Report Form will be returned to you.

Please note that during the period of re-marking the test results are frozen and cannot be sent to an immigration authority.

Work on improving the question type you don't do well during your practice and ensure you follow instructions.

That is the standard but you might likely have a complete ECA before that date

belushi7:
Good day all.

WES received response on verification from Unilag on Monday 11/9/2017. They still went ahead to state the evaluation will be due for completion on 29/9/2017. This is after receiving transcripts and certificates since mid August.
Question is, does it take that long for WES to complete ECA after receiving response to their verification from schools? That's like another 18days.

My brother, we are in the same shoes o. I dont believe my IELTS result.
Listening 7.0 Reading7.0 Writing7.0 Speaking8.0

I expect more from my Listening and Reading. I know i did very well in them compared to writing and speaking. I also wrote in Abuja. I go wait till i see the actual score on my TRF and will definitely go for remark if nothing changed.

Am heading to their office tmrw.

I just saw my IELTS results now:

Listening: 7.0
Reading: 7.0
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 8.0

But am very sure there is error somewhere in my reading and listening score. I will wait for the actual TRF. No way i can even score less than 8.0 in reading. Will keep everyone updated

MW, Has anyone had a case of differences in the provisional online result and the actual TRF?

40manlappy:

NB: I am not in any way endorsing placement of funds in treasury bill (TB) just before/immediately after ITA in order to present it as POF without needing a bank statement or other supporting documents.

TBs, bank statements, etc, have proven to be tested alternatives to IRCC's standard requirement for POF which is an official letter from a bank or financial institution.

I had the TBs in question for over 6 months but still provided bank statements to show the source. Also used LOE to make it easy for the VO to understand the statements. This is just to clarify my previous post so that it won't be quoted out of context or misunderstood.

cc: Ehrnie, CAstruggle

Thanks. My plan is to present my TB, plus SOA and letter of explanation. I only wanted to know what percentage of my funds i could have as TBs from persons whom have used TBs as POF. I really dont want the money dormant anymore in my account. Still expecting my IELTS and WES results in by next week.

I appreciate all your response. Thanks for the clarification.

I believe 5m worth of TB + 2m left in my account (Would be paying for myself and spouse application fee and ROPR from it) is fine?

Ehrnie:

Hi - My PoF was TBs+ SoA (please note that I had some money in the account).

I'll suggest you use a large part of your money for TBs and also leave some in your account so your SoA isn't zero/insignificant - in as much as we want the money to generate income for us, we should also look at the risk of using ONLY TBs as PoF. My risk level is very low - so I try to be cautious.

It's good to go for the 3 months TBs....and God forbid you don't get ITA soon, then you can keep rolling over the TBs in short tenures.

This is what I would do.

@Ehrnie I need you assistance.

I want to convert my POF into treasury bills(3months) instead of it sitting idle in my account, i came across your post sometime back on this thread. I have my POF in my account, i am expecting my IELTS and WES results next week before i can get into the pool.

My question is can i use Treasury Bills alone as POF?, although i will also attach my SOA and bank letter along. How did you go about yours?
