What if I can pay in US$ with my credit card and want it shipped to Naija? For this kind of service you will need a freight forwarder. This is not our area. We are an e-commerce site offering other peoples inventory for you to buy. All purchases must be made through us. You can use your only Naira credit cards or bank deposit. |

Great service. Please can you explain how you calculate your service charge for items. From the images you pasted, it seems the service charge increases at a geometric rate, so what is the advantage of buying many items at once? Thanks for your comments. Our service charge is fixed at 10% of your costs. In addition to that we insure your items with our PS&DG (product safety and delivery guarantee) which is 3% of your costs . We also surcharge for bank fees required to transfer your funds to the US where the purchase is made. This means that the higher the value of your items, the higher the amount charged for our service. But the percentage remains the same. Your shipping costs are calculated based on the cost of bringing your goods to Nigeria by the airlines. When you check out your selected items, these costs will be displayed in full for you to see. I hope this helps. |

We have just implemented an upgrade to our site. You will notice that on the shopping section,we have made the order panel more distinct from the external sites. We have also added more categories and sites. More upgrades are coming soon so keep an eye out. More importantly, let us know what you think. |

The potential for e-commerce in Nigeria is huge, yet the field is largely untapped. The lack of infrastructure argument is dated, considering the current level of internet penetration in Nigeria, with millions of Nigerians holding Facebook accounts. So what is really the problem? A local manifestation of the image problem Nigeria has abroad? Absence of physical contact between vendors and buyers? Weak regulatory oversight and contract enforcement procedures? Our company recently lunched a really useful e-commerce service (www.circuitatlantic.com). This service connects any Nigerian with a legal tender to the US online market. It creates a channel for Nigerians who are literally shut out from international e-commerce to enjoy the option of low prices and purchasing from a vast array of products, including shopping on Ebay and Amazon - the largest markets in the world. Yet we found that the second highest search query supplied by users in relation to the site is: "is circuitatlantic.com a fraud?" Several users have walked into our Lagos office just to make sure we are real and even more have called in from around the country for verification. 16 years after Amazon's launch, we expect to be further ahead. What is the way out of this quagmire? |

Thanks Lady Zee for raising that issue. Sorry for the limited options for shopping sites in this section. We will add a few more sites to the section in our next update to the site. But don't expect too many. Our goal is to keep the options simple by limiting the number sites in each category. I personally find too much choice a bit overwhelming. However, you can select "Add other site" from "site in view" to shop from any site of your choice and still use our order forms. |

It depends on what you are purchasing. Very heavy items or large volumes of some items will qualify for sea freight. We will let you know the best option for you as soon as we receive your order. |

I have been struggling to place an order online using your website, for an HP pavilion laptop. Each time I select "Amazon" on the "Site in View" section, it takes me back to "Recommended sites" and if I try continuing by clicking on "save item", it will give me an error report thus: "Category and Site in View required". Kindly explain how best to bypass this hitch and please get in touch with your programmers to fix it. We have fixed this problem Thanks |
