musiwa112: in yoruba culture when a woman move her things from her husband house. she can not return back to it.

they will say "a lo ra mi ra mi, la re, a ki re abo re"

and in most africa culture i believe it is the same.

like duro ladipo once sang. "o di gbere o, o da la di re, a torun, durun"

a woman can not move her things from a yoruba man house. she will never return back to that house. a new wife most replace her. it is abomination in yoruba culture for a woman to move her belonging from her husband house. if she does that. she will never return back to that house. it is an abomination for her to return back to that house.

jesus cant even help a woman, who remove her bag from her husband house in yoruba culture.. she can leave her husband house.. but she can not move her bag. the moment she remove her bag. yoruba culture demand, that woman cant return.

jesus can not help such a woman

who is this? this is the daughter of president obasanjo. she move her bags... and she can not . the culture says she cant return. so dont say your father is president. you are not going to be the first . you cant move your bag. hausa will say " say gobe" . the moment you move your bag.. that is it.. you are allowed to leave but you cant move your bag. that your bag is there. it is still your house. when you move your bag. you lost your home.

You are better off remaining first wife, than move your bag. All this churches who explore people for money. are using this money for good thing in their life, while they live million in trouble. they drive the best cars and private jet, while their victim life is destroy. Iyabo obasanjo has just 1 child. While. She went to a bad church. and had a bad pastor. who were only interested in the 10% iyabo will give them.

TheBitterTruth, even if your father is bill gate, yorubas will never allow that woman back, if that woman move her bags. if that woman just left without moving her bag. that woman will be allowed back.. so when you move your bag in a yorubaman house. you are never going to be allowed to return, even if your father is bill gate, they dont care. it is an abomination in yorubaland for a woman to remove her bag from her husband house..

Education / Re: Lagos To Ban Unintelligent Students From Public Schools by catleya: 9:31am On Nov 12, 2013
JECBOSS: In as much as I understand what the Lagos state govt. is trying to convey, I think Nairaland should replicate this. I'm of the opinion that poor command of English language as usually observed on Nairaland is symptomatic of our falling standards in education.
Gbam!!! Too true, thank you very much!

my thots exactly! These things happen to us and they go scot free cos we give them the power to treat us with disregard! We always take crap in this country then get home and start complaining when we should have demanded to be treated well right there and then. Imagine sleeping on the airport floor overnight without any apology! I don press p for this aero sef. They have such rude and disrespectful staff, the worst I've seen ever

Politics / Re: Jonathan - FG Can't Perform Magic In Crisis by catleya: 1:00am On Nov 01, 2013
Pukkah: At least the President has admitted that he can't perform magic because there's no peace in the country.

Well, he should remember that all the problems were present before he became the President and he did promise to solve them.

He should also be told that effective governance is the solution to the problems he identified - militancy, kidnapping and Boko Haram. It is not the absence of those problems that will make him govern effectively. Or what did he achieve in Bayelsa where there was no violence?

If his expectation is that those identified problems must disappear first before he can govern well then he can as well throw in the towel.

Again, he can't perform magic in terms of governance because of problems but he's performing magic in terms of spending? Has his budgetary expenses reduced because he's not been able to deliver? How come the violence didn't stop him from travelling with several aides to Israel and other countries?

Is it violence and kidnapping that has made him unable to fight corruption? Why are the problems facing Nigeria getting worse? People sell kids, sell human parts and do all sorts of outrageous things to make money.

On another note, the President should pay more attention to the way he talks. What's 'shooting gun'? The part where he called on the youths is also disjointed.

For a very patient lady (whose eyes are wide open), not being able to sustain the false acts would totally give you away.

Family / Re: How Was Your First Year Of Marriage? by catleya: 9:14am On Oct 22, 2013
This is the best thread I've seen on NL ever! I love it and the different experiences shared have encouraged me to drop my fears about marriage. Time to "woman"up and stop hanging onto my freedom and personal space and stop scaring off potential husbands like winsh! Lol!
