I just hope Ejuke starts on the left wing while Chukwueze if he's fit starts on the right wing.

Chidera Ejuke on the bench for CSKA Moscow, meaning that his injury in the Europa league was a minor one.

He doesn't need to bulk up, all he needs is hitting the gym regularly and improving his work rate.

elunico:

I don't believe it happens to Africans alone, coaches do this all the time, sometimes it works, most times it doesn't.

Nwakali needs to bulk up if he wants to go far.

Kelechi Nwakali makes the starting line up for Huesca away to Real Madrid. This should be the biggest game of his career.

He was very awful, he lost possession easily and wasn't able to shield or guard the ball when he possessed with his huge body frame. Ajayi should stick to the defence, he isn't a midfielder.

I'm telling you, I watched the match just to see him play but Rohr being Rohr gave less Ejuke than 20 minutes to play. Rohr should have switched Moses Simon to RM
while Ejuke play the LM but he rather played Ejuke at RM.

chuks404:
. Seriously ooo. There is something special about how ejuke dribbles. He is quite unpredictable.
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by cc12(m): 8:08am On Oct 14, 2020
The only time I really enjoyed Rohr's team was the first half of Ukraine vs Nigeria. The manner the Super Eagles attacked during the first half is how i have always wished this set of Super Eagles could attack.

Daninya33:
The few times I enjoyed Rohr's team where against

#Zambia 1st leg world cup qualifiers

#Algeria 1st leg world cup qualifiers

#Cameroon 1st leg world cup qualifiers

#Argentina friendly game prior to the world cup

Aside that ,he has been clueless.

Formation- Wack

Tactics- Wack

Substitution- Wack

He has to be fired.

For 4 years now,we don't even have a team.
Experimental team,tactics every time.
No outlined pattern of play for the SE.
Selection has not been devoid of sentiments.
Makeshifts players for positions where we already have natural players.

I will say it again and again

He sabotaged us at the World Cup.

No apologies whatsoever for my comment.

Dude won't even get a semifinals berth in the next Afcon even if we qualify.
We will still crash out in the group stage even if we qualify for Qatar 2022.

His team doesn't inspire confidence at all.

Clueless Rohr...

Na to dey assembly players up and down wey he no go fit utilize properly.

The Late Amodu Shaibu was a better tactician than Rohr.

Dude couldn't even utilize properly our two friendly matches.

How do one know that a player ain't ready if he has not been given the platform to showcase what he has to offer?

Rohr matter tire person

ChrisKels:

You needed a CMF yet you overlooked Azeez even while Etebo was out, instead you resorted to "thoughting" and expecting miracles from makeshifts? Lol yeye tactically and technically inept coach

Rohr shouldn't try and play Semi Ajayi in the DMF position during the upcoming qualifiers in November, Etebo would do a better job being that Ndidi is injured.

smartsmith0907:
For people criticizing rohr; it not easy like you guys thought they was huge mistake in the team selection we needed a CMF but didnt go to the friendly CMF we told the likes of onyeka could play makeshift CMF but fumbled so we had to improvise to a new formation we only tried out once in training and decided to go for it ...like I said Semi is the backbone of the formation thats why his mistake was glaring apko was started to dive to the middle and support ajayi while chuks track back at first it wasnt really working coz they were pressing hard and we needed to get hold of the possession to play our style. But we thank God we played partially well with our team maduka was fantabulous now youve seen why yakubu and alampasu is not needed
Overall we were average there are positives for the game so 4-1-4-1 is the official second formation of the team ...it worked very well we couldn't have done any better ....till we meet again in November friedden to y'all
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by cc12(m): 1:24am On Oct 14, 2020
I would love to see an attacking front line of Ejuke, Osimhen and Chukwueze .

12large1:
Omo that ejuke guy sabi play o. The last time I saw someone that skillful for Nigeria was chukwueze and he is even a better dribbler than chukwueze. It will be great to see chukwueze on the right and ejuke on the left

We really miss him, but he is past his prime.

MetalJigsaw:
A we miss Mikel... It's a pity we only have a scout in Rohr and not a coach. The faxt that your players are struggling to trap the ball and string passes together says a lot about you as the coach.
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by cc12(m): 5:47am On Oct 10, 2020
Samson Tijani is not yet Super Eagles material, he shouldn't be called up.

Philosopher1979:

Apart from Ramin Azeez Rohr should try Samson Tijani in the next friendly. He is a natural midfielder. He should try some radicalism in his selection
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by cc12(m): 11:53pm On Oct 09, 2020
I too have never rated Ekong for once, Balogun is still the best centre back in the Super Eagles

drDoom3:

Many highly respected members of this thread even said, and I quote, "Ekong is the only defender assured of his starting spot, Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Omeruo and Awaziem will fight for the other spot".

I don't know how some people watch football though, but as for me, I have never seen Ekong play good football as a defender. His game is just aimless clearances and wild tackles. Ekong as a defender is not disciplined enough to start in any Bundesliga club.
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by cc12(m): 11:36pm On Oct 09, 2020
The lack of creativity in the midfield is glaring,I noticed it at AFCON 2019. This current Super Eagles lack a proper centre midfielder, Rohr should make sure he never misses inviting Ramon Azeez in subsequent matches so long Azeez plays the La Liga, although Azeez isn't world class he adds a bit of creativity and balance in the midfield. This Super Eagles team is really a midfielder who can control the tempo of a game and retain possession.

Zero midfield, Wing play disappeared after the first 45mins

Tijani is very far from Super Eagles quality.

Subzero047:
Tijani is already at the level for Super Eagles, this should be Agu's last invite
