Great job Mr Sage. I just read up your whole thread from the first post. It seems you’ve abandoned here for almost a year now? Is everything all right. I’m about going into this business with my house, and I will love to consult you. Please confirm if you are still available. |

Ugosample: Anyway, they helped to ruin Africa by their senseless creation of countries with strange bed fellows. More Africans need to migrate so they can feel the pain too. ![]() |

charzyh2: Frankfurt doesn't hold as much history as Paris. Almost every turn in Paris has a historical value. |

Driving through... feeling the weight of the Engineering feat on my neck. When will Nigerian Engineers attempt something like this. Any way they can't even build a road that will last a complete rainy season. Lol 5 Likes

Can't remember what he called this twin building, but this is where the UN meeting held and they came up with the Universal declaration of human rights. We all know the US as the land of liberty but France was the forerunner to the notion of liberty. Remember their national motto is libertè, egalitè, socialitè. 2 Likes

Beautiful street with well set trees lined up, while the leaves succumb to the powe of autumn season. Notice that car parks are inside the road before the pedestrian lines, so no idiot will park and block the road. I think the only places I have seen nice trees like this in Naija are Bourdillion Ikoyi, Bisala road, Enugu and Calabar entrance. 4 Likes

I am just having a deep seated laughter here. ![]() ![]() ![]() Did you see that guy's angry post after he left Nigeria and saw how civilization works? I completely feel the guy. I also honestly don't think that Nigeria/Africa will get better in the foreseeable future. Sorry for all you patriots with mountain moving faith. ![]() ![]() It's so sad. The biggest gift any Nigerian can give himself/herself is to have a trip outside, not to fellow African countries but to any of the OECD countries and have a feeling of what development/civilization ia all about. It will completely change your perspective about government, leadership, planning and service delivery. We have been been brought up to normalize utter mediocrity, that's why when you ask leaders questions they see it as affront. And the biggest joke is that Nigeria was great. Nah bro, Nigeria and greatness should never ever be put in one sentence. You will even be ashamed of most of our prayer points and testimonies in churches and mosques. Because over 90% of the things we pray for God to do are actually governmnents' responsibilities, but your Pastors will tell you to leave the same govt officials who collect millions in salaries and loot the rest in billions and hold on to God to fix the economy and infrastructure. We are very faaaaaaaaaar!!! 15 Likes |

mrphysics: Loool. Stop defending nonsense bro. Your leaders indoctrinate you to think that defending their indolence is patriotism. By sane pepole's standard, the best of our amenities and cities seems like we are actually living in squalid conditions. Electricity is taken for granted across the world, and it forms the basis for so many other facilities. Do you think all our cities will have stable electricity in the next 50years? When your leaders still celebrate meagre 7000Mw that they use to power a single airport elsewhere? The first thing that hits you when you enter places like Europe is deep pain and anger about what our leaders has been doing with all the money the country generates. The way we are going currently, it will take us like 500years more to get to the current level of civilization elsewhere, that's if we actually start today. 32 Likes 3 Shares |

So, we saw people taking pics at this monument on the floor, just in front of the Cathedral and we also stood and took ours. Later we learnt it's called the Point Zero. It's literally the centre of Paris City! It means if you draw a circle around Paris, this is the centre of that circle. 13 Likes 1 Share

hardeysholar:There are ovet 25 countries that are covered by the Shengen VISAs, I do not think that the processes are uniform. Secondly, the documents required is solely dependent on the purpose for your travelling. So, start by deciding which of the countries you want to apply at their Embassy, then Google their website and read up on the processes. It's pretty simple and straight forward. |

dcutey:You are welcome bro! Paris is excitingly beautiful. I wish I can live here for like 6months, just travelling and studying European history. |

992finland: Well, any document that will validate your stated PURPOSE for travelling is a good idea. For us, we didn't even add Buhari's 'certificate' in the mix, because it wasn't necessary for vacationing. |

Guess this imposing edifice we are approaching... This is the famous Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral. This Roman Catholic monument took almost 200 years! to complete, and it was completed before the year 1300! Where was Nigeria then? ![]() That's why whenever I see our politicians commissioning those useless block of flats they spend billions of public funds to build which will dilapidate in 2years and calling it 'state of the art' 'ultra modern', and all those superlative nonsense, I feel like suffocating them right there! ![]() ![]() 8 Likes

Sorry guys. I have received tons of PM already, and from my previous experiences on NL, I'm sorry I won't be responding. If you have any questions ask them here, if I can I will answer or other members can help. I'm only responding to Madamgrace's request because she asked here and it's something I can help with. 10 Likes 1 Share |

A typical Paris street building. Each building can be as long as 100m long. And it's between 5-7 stories. The shocking thing about Paris architecture? There are hardly any skyscraper. The skyscrapers on the Lagos Marina alone can put the whole of Paris to shame. Lol 4 Likes

Back view of the Louvre. Can you spot that iconic mansard roof? Guys, one amazing thing about this historic city is that practically every single boulevard holds an epic history. And in spite of all the numerous wars tat defined their history, they managed to retain these monuments for posterity. 6 Likes
