The MOI have to approve first before the issuance by the Czech Republic embassy in Abuja. The visa status "In Process" after over 90 days means the delay, in this case, I believed is mostly on the part of the MOI.

Getting a visa appointment now for September/ October 2022 resumption is not ideal except for cases where deferral is possible.

For those whose visa application has been over 90 days, has it been approved?

Wanniway, first congratulations on your admission! But you need to act super fast since your course starts in October.

Legalization Is done at the Ministry of Education( mostly educational related documents) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (for all documents legalised by the ministry of education and every other documents needed abroad) in Abuja, whereas the super legalization of already legalized documents is done by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Abuja.

For the medical report, visit any government hospital at your location. After undergoing certain tests on your medical fitness and all, a certificate( signed and stamped) proving that you are free from any contagious diseases, will given to you. The report must be officially translated to the Czech language.

Then, for the criminal record, visit any state CID and request it. If you are in Lagos, it will be cheaper to get it at their main Station at Alagbon. The certificate must be officially translated, legalized at MFA (Ministry of foreign affairs) and then superlegalized at the embassy(can be done on your interview day)

Also, ask your University to include you to the student regime for the September term at the embassy. All the best!
