Thanks for the update, and all the best.
Was the technical test a general aptitude test or specific to the role?
Also, what is objective or theory or both?
I will be taking mine tomorrow.

Thenext:
Technical test done yesterday. Roles that I know that wrote the test yesterday were Lead Project Engineer, Project Engineer, Site Inspection Engineer, Lead Floating Unit and Subsea Inspection, Senior Pipeline Engineer, Senior Well Intervention Engineer and I think Lead Inspection Engineer.
We were told that they want to conclude the recruitment by December. Finger crossed for next stage

Ok fair enough. But imagine if you said

Everyone will just pack their bags and go home. Cos the successful ones are not yet born...... grin

Yet another shifting cultivation.
There’s no surprise in that. I wld have been astonished if they act(ed) swiftly.

Was wondering the reason for all the excitement. If I have learnt only 1 thing in the past 4 years!! (chaii) it is “Be patient, it’s not over until the final whistle and I carry the cup” i.e. never celebrate early. The hangover from celebrating last year is still affecting some of us.
Ask Bayern Munich (1999, 2012), AC Milan (2005), Italy (Euro 2000) etc.

Until we receive mails with attachments (preferably offers) I see absolutely no reason to rejoice.

In the end, my Father’s will is being played out perfectly. cheesy

We have been saying “very soon” since 2015, therefore “very soon” is > 2yrs.
Thus not moved by it.

@sexyjob do u think NLNG is a one-man business where someone will get pissed and start sharing mails? Y hasn’t the person been impressed with our patience and taken us to the next stage? Don’t let fear rule u, they know what they have invested in this exercise to just throw it away.

I just hope they respect us enough to give us an explanation for the delay when the time is right.

@sexyjob if this lasts till 2022 u will say the same kinda tins. But I know what u say and what u feel are very different.

Though I suggest we refrain from using harsh terms (though deserved) it doesn’t take away the fact that Nlng “no try”.
Our sustained interest is just recession-induced.

Lol! Forget the sources. There is only one source, the HR team through the mails they send. Haba!, the person that called you for medicals, sent you a mail for Resume and thereafter sent you another mail that you should wait assuring you that you would be updated should be taken more seriously. Now, you prefer to believe 10 sources with 11 info. If you say there are problems that have led to the delays, I will believe you but I can't believe that a company like NLNG would run this kind of race and not complete it. It's unimaginable! Several multinational coys have conducted medicals and left candidates for years before calling them to resume. It is very unwise for any company to cancel a recruitment of this kind after taking it to the very final stage. There might be delays and there might be changes of several kinds but cancellation is out of it. This coy will actually be employing experienced guys as GTs and that's a plus to them. Though some of us will turn down the offer when it comes but I won't entertain the notion of cancellation. It is not just possible. The following things are possible:
1. Stretching the recruitment to its validity limits for whatsoever reason they might have( I suspect 'leave them, we will call them later)
2. Getting possible issues like accommodation and training arrangements concluded(This could be a possible cause of the delay)
3. Making necessary changes to the recruitment itself(this might include getting more people "medicalised')
4. No Money! (I doubt this! If this were to be the problem, they would called some persons to resume)

In conclusion, I would suggest we remain prayerful and optimistic. In fact, let's continue speculating optimistically. Our future employer has also had a wonderful time with this recruitment. They will explain to us when we meet. Let us all enjoy ourselves and wait for the call even if it will come in 2018! #runs away from thread

Heard scenario 3 is where the current impasse lies. So we shd pray that none of us is ousted.
Though my eggs are in several baskets whichever hatches 1st I follow.
Somehow I feel for NLNG cos it’s not entirely in their hands. Seems we might be the oldest and most experienced GTs in the history of mankind.
What I would give to hear from artmedia cry

Pls the waitlisted, was any time period given before it expires?

As always Father let your will be done.

What do you mean by voicemail? Don't just think and say. You can do better than that. If you have insider info, you will know Babs leaving has nothing to do with the wait after he has left. You could be right to say he partly caused the wait before he left. For the recruitment, its end will come when it will come.

Dude calm down.
There's a difference between ur optimism and reality with 10 sources giving 11 different info.

Knowing 9ja there's a real possibility that this exercise is cancelled or magomago enters.
Nothing they do will surprise me.

As always, Father let your will be done.

Happy new year everyone. 2017 is going to be a great! year.

Somewhat happy AC anniversary…..
This time last year I was busy trying to get my head round their fact & figures document and waiting for the likes of @kblaze111 to give us some AC insights (which rightly wasn’t forthcoming).
A year later I’m busy practicing my injection skills.

Father I’m grateful & I’m sure you will finish what you have started, but ultimately let your will be done.
P.S: A little bird whispered that offer letters could be issued as early as month-end with resumption in September latest.

I still DO NOT think it's done and dusted. For some reason I refuse to accept that.

For those talking about miracles, I concur. From those sisters that wanted to climb different stairs I'm WAEC to that Data Checking in SHL to the presentation at AC, these are all situations when I said "Mehn, e done be! I sure say I fit pass like this?" I was particularly worried about the presentation in AC as in my personal evaluation I had goofed big time mehn. Misquoted some stats and even alleged that the problematic employee wasn't meeting target even though that was very incorrect. So yes for me it has been a miracle galore this whole process. And I can only expect that it's the same for a whole lot. There's still one gorgeous lady I know without a doubt will get an email. You know who you are!

Lastly, I was born June 6.
Happy birthday @airsaylongcon. It has really been miracle galore for me too.

Funny enough I don't think it is insensitive.
I just think the question itself is hilarious. Medical basically entails your blood getting drawn, your p*ss collected, maybe x ray sef.
But the "Father let your will be" done part...oh my!..."people" are praying "Father let your will be done" and you are praying those exact words for medicals too. Due to this I hope your injection is a bit more painful for you than it should normally be grin
One love!

Medicals not equal to employment, they made that very clear. That's why I say "Father let your will and your will alone be done".

From info filtering through, we will SURELY hear from them this month.
From the messengers ENTHUSIASM I would be surprised if it exceeds Q2M3D10.

For the 1st time ever I can say “BRACE YOURSELF”.
Wishing us all success.
May we not mark the anniversary of AC in this “feedbackless” state.
