On the Birthday Celebration of Surveyor Chika Amaga: Theophilus Ifeanyi Igwe Narrates

BACKGROUND

Surveyor Chika Amaga is a native of Igbudu Community, in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Born into the golden family of Sir Linus Amaga KSJ. He is a dedicated member of Roman Catholic Church, a celebrated philanthropist, who has touched lives positively.
He is an employer of labour, who finds pleasure in alleviating the sufferings of the unemployed Youths. He has built houses to widows, and give scholarship to orphans, and has gone far in putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged.

A PERSONAL ENCOUNTER

On 10th November, 2021, Surveyor Chika Amaga said to me;
"Please jointly work with Nnaemeka Ajana to provide one widow for me in your area,
We will build a house for her and give the children scholarship".

However, I called Nnaemeka, who was then at Abuja, and myself was at home (Igweledoha Amagu Ikwo in Ebonyi State). After discussing with Nnaemeka, I embarked on thorough searching. After thorough searching, we settled with one poor widow, who is living in a dilapidated house that was built by her late husband. Her name is Nwali Akobe from Igweledoha Amagu Ikwo. I interviewed her, took some videos and pictures, and forward them to the WhatsApp account of Surveyor Amaga.
To the glory of God, he approved it, and work began immediately.

To cut the long story short, on 27th December, 2021, Surveyor Amaga stormed the venue and commissioned one of the most beautiful houses in the village for the poor widow. He also presented bag of rice, Onions, tomatoes, and other Christmas largesse for her. He also shared money to everyone that was around to witness the joyful event. More interestingly, he asked me to open a bank account for the poor widow, that he will be paying her every month.

Honestly, I have been seeing philanthropists, but that of Surveyor Chika Amaga is exceptional.
I lack words to thank him.
But, God will continue to bless him.
And may all his desires be granted by God in Jesus name, Amen.

1. If you are to count the remaining few good men in Nigeria without counting Surveyor Chika Amaga, then you are yet to start. Because, this is a gentleman that has dedicated his entire life to serve humanity via humanitarian gestures. He is kindhearted, accommodative, and indeed, a true definition of "good man".

2. If you are to count the remaining hardworking & progressive youths, who are focus, intrepid, dogged, & persistent without mentioning Surveyor Chika Amaga, then you have not started. This is a gentleman you can never see dining in frivolity. At his age, his achievements are surpassing, and worth being emulated. May God bless him with more wealth, wisdom, and long life.

3. If you are to count the remaining philanthropists in Nigeria, without counting Surveyor Chika Amaga, then, you have not started. This is a man that derives joy in making people smile with unceasing credit alerts. His philanthropic gesture is metaphysical!

The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat." Although, the incoming Senator, representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, Ambassador Frank Nchita Ogbuewu, has strived without error and shortcoming, and has dared greatly for the benefit of the masses, without a record of failure. It is unfortunate, that Some misinformed individuals, who were mischievously fed with lies still dwell on the dangerous hearsay. It is therefore, very important, to figure the truth about individuals, stakeholders and leaders, before finalizing an issue.

Ebonyi Central is so providential, to have Ambassador Frank Nchita Ogbuewu, a great leader, who possesses three key qualities needed in leadership, which are; inner light, inner vision, and inner strength. He sees leadership as an opportunity to elevate people from where they are to where they have not been. He is a quintessence of integrity, accountability, empathy, humility, resilience, vision, influence, and positivity. Ambassador Ogbuewu is an indefatigable leader that sticks to his word, live by core values, and lead by example.

As a Senator in 2023, he will always stay in touch with the zone, Speak for the zone, and return the dividends of legislature for the benefits everybody. Ambassador Ogbuewu is not a pushover, and has never occupied an office without an indelible footprint. Sending him to the Senate is the best thing that can happen to Ebonyi Central. His going to the Senate is for the zone, and for the people, as Ebonyi Central will feel much represented.

He has made it clear that when he gets to the Senate, he will bring effective representation, and when others are talking, he will also be taking, and will always stand tall against any forces that wish to deprive the people of his zone their legitimate rights and break down the walls of red-tape and bureaucratic bottle-necks that often stifles the progress, or the legitimate progress for the people of Ebonyi Central.

It is pertinent to state that having Ambassador Ogbuewu from Ebonyi Central is a blessing for the zone, as the voice of the zone will be heard for good through him. He is an experienced leader, who has the political will, to drive Ebonyi Central to the promise land. He remains a father, and pathfinder of people's oriented politics. He has sacrificed so much for the good of Ebonyi State, and has raised countless Ebonyians to a worthwhile positions. In 2023, we shall vote massively for him, to give us a effective and quality representation.

And like I always voice, the right to vote is a divine privilege, a wise man will go for Ambassador Ogbuewu, and my ecstacy is that, the people of Ebonyi Central are wise, and therefore, must go for Ambassador Ogbuewu.
