Business / Why Do Nigeria Companies Take So Long To Pay Invoices Of Their Contractors by Chambs: 11:17am On Aug 28, 2023
A friend who runs a SME in Nigeria recently told me about their struggle to get paid for work they did for a Nigeria company. While the service was confirmed satisfactory and invoices were accepted nine months ago, payment has not been made. Understandably, they are reluctant to involve lawyers or otherwise escalate the situation.

This is more common in Nigeria companies and it is bad for our economy. Many people work for a SME that has had trouble getting paid. So many SMEs take loans to run projects for their client. When payment isn't made on time, loan interest eats into project profit and sometimes wipes it out completely.

Since you’ll be resuming this Fall, I think it’s a bit early to even apply for EA as it’s still well over 60 days before Fall resumption. Nevertheless, what’s done is done.

1. No harm in doing both in my opinion.

2. Just once per MRV fee payment.

Please can i get a direct email address to US embassy in Abuja ? Anybody can help ?
Politics / Re: The Hypocrisy Against Rochas and Uche Nwosu by Chambs: 8:56pm On Nov 04, 2018
Who is this bingo? Who is this gullible thing?

Proudlyngwa:
It is unfortunate that at this age and time, Nigerians are yet to leave above pettiness in the political stratosphere and indulge in emotional and psychological blackmail due to their limited level of critical reasoning.

APC as a party and Adams Oshiomole as a person should know that politics is not run to generate grieviances but to build bridges.

I can hear a lot of Imolites in particular and Nigerians in general saying why Should after Okorocha, his son in law be asked to contest. Is Imo state his personal property.

And the question I have for them is what is wrong with Uche Nwosu contesting.

The Questions should be is Uche Nwosu qualified to contest.
Can it be prooved that Rochas support his gubernatorial ambitions with state fund.
Was the process that brought Uche Nwosu out be termed geniue and Legitimate.
In a Court of law, should Nwosu decide to sue, can the APC come out tops.

Oshiomole saying , Okorocha should choose between his ambitions and that of Nwosu is infantile and Dictactoral at the same time.
Doing this is simply prooving that Imo state APC elections can be termed selection and not election, as it has turned to imposed substitution.

If both Nwosu and Okorocha won their primaries, let them be allowed to contest and test their popularity against other candidates at the ballot box

If they didn't , simply tell them so, instead of asking them to choose one, let Oshiomole explain to us who or what determines candidacy.

On this note, I stand with Uche Nwosu until Imo APC, and Oshiomole can come up with a superior argument , other than Uche Nwosu is Rochas son in law.
Politics is not a do or die affair and should not be used to generate grieviances.

Exercise in futility!

If Hope Uzodinma is popular as he claims, why did he defect from the PDP to APC after Okorocha singlehandedly built APC from the scratch?

Why can't he try other parties in Imo State and ask for votes?

Built which APC? you are part of Imo state problem. So gullible and ignorant

Jesus is just a normal guy

A jew and a young carpenter's son woke up one morning and claimed he was God. While people were going about their businesses, young man hired 12 poor Fishermen, and was walking around the village performing magic. Soon, the villagers got pissed at him, set him up and had him slaughtered on a cross.
