The word "gospel" has lost its meaning over time. Its efficacy is not being preached nowadays. The word is of Anglo-Saxon origin, meaning "God's Spell" and "good spell" i.e. good news. It is rendered in greek as "evangelion i.e "good message". This was what it was known for, all about the "too good to be true" news of Christ. It not only sounded nice to the ears, it also had the power to transform a person's life.

When people are told of this "too good to be true" news, flags go up, insinuating that it is a perversion of the good news. Beloved, the truth about the gospel is that, Jesus is madly in love with you. For someone that is of value, no one would dare to die for. But Jesus died for you, even when you were not of any value to Him. He left His heavenly glory as God, to become just like one of us, so as to save us from destruction. What words can quantify such a love?

Jesus is our substitute; He took the punishment, guilt, condemnation and judgment that was due to you. All He asks, is that you accept His perfect love, by believing. Are you sick in your body or you have a loved one that you've been believing God for healing? Jesus didn't just die for our sins; His body was lacerated and disfigured for our healing, health and wholeness. All you have to do is receive His gift today, by believing in your heart.

Prayer: Lord, I believe in Your love. I receive it for my salvation, health and wholeness, in Jesus name.

Believers have to come to the understanding of who they are and their worth. It's often said that when the value of a thing or person is not known, abuse is inevitable. Likewise, when you don't know your true value, you are bound to treat yourself in an uncomely manner. The bible states that we are Christ's bride and at Jewish weddings when Jesus was on earth, the bride was adorned by the bridegroom.

It was the bridegroom's responsibility to take care of everything the bride needed, for the wedding ceremony. Even the name "bride-groom" paints a picture of what his job is: the one who groomed the bride. Beloved, Jesus our bridegroom loves us so much. He demonstrated His love for us, when He died on the cross. Seeing the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross.

This joy is you and I (the church). We are His joy and bride. Whatever the problem is, have this confident assurance that Jesus is always with you and will never leave you. He is working everything together for your good. Proverbs 29:18 states, "where there is no vision the people perish". Constantly have this vision of how lovely you are to Jesus. Keep this picture in your heart and your mind, go through this week with full assurance of God's goodness.

Beloved, grace is so amazing. It shows mankind the unending nature of God's love. When Adam sinned, he hid from God even though our Abba still sought him out. God already knew what happened; He is omniscient, but God was not afraid of sin. Before the law came, God continued to interact with men even in their wrong-doings.

Abraham, the father of faith, had just slept with Hagar in Genesis 16. He had believed in Sarah's words over God's. This would have ended an earthly relationship. But notice, God didn't leave him. In chapter 18, God paid him a visit, literally! The Trinity came to see him and remind him of our Father's words to him. Men might forget God's love but God doesn't: we are the apple of His eye.

Grace is a reminder of His love. Situations might seem harsh, challenges constantly arising. But, we can continue to trust His love, if we fix our eyes on His grace. Just like Noah, when he looked at the rainbow, he believed that the earth would never be flooded. So also beloved, whenever you read God's words to you, see His Grace. It's everything to us.

You might be going through a tough situation right now and it seems like all hell is about to break loose. I have good news for you; the grace of God is available for you, to stand fast in that situation and come out victorious. The Psalmist said; "though I walk through the valley of shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me" (Psalm 23:4). One sure reason that situation won't take you down, is because the Lord is with you.

Grace brought us all salvation (Titus 2:11). But many abandon the workings of grace, after receiving salvation and move on. Grace is needed even after salvation and throughout the Christian life. A believer falls from grace when they try to justify themselves by self effort (Galatians 5:4). God justified us already through grace (His unmerited and unearned favour); if one tries to earn points before our Father by our works, Christ's death is made of no effect.

We as believers can't do anything without or outside of grace. Paul said, "His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me" (1 Cor 15:10). You might ask; how do I access God's grace? Through believing in this grace. We have access by faith (believing) in His grace (Romans 5:2). It will teach, train and disciple you into living a godly life (Titus 2:12).

Beloved, I have good news; everything you need to succeed (reign) in life is Grace-linked. "For if by the one man's offense, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness, will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ?" (Romans 5:17).

Saints, what you need to reign in life is Abundance of Grace and the Gift of Righteousness. The best part is; they are both gifts from God, you can't merit or earn them. Beloved, it's interesting to know that for you to serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear, Grace is needful (Hebrews 12:28). You might ask; how do I access this Grace that has been made available?

Child of God, it can be accessed through faith (Ephesians 2:; faith here is a gift, it is the faith of the Son of God (Galatians 2:20).
Sounds too good to be true? Yes I know, but it is true. The only part you need to play is, anchor your belief on the faith of the Son of God. Live from Grace, not self: 100% Grace, 0% you today.

Jesus is the mediator- the "go between", of the new covenant. The old covenant was the Law, which came through Moses; given so that man could come to the end of himself and cry out for Jesus. When it was given at mount Sinai, 3,000 people died at its foot. But after the apostles received the outpouring of God's Spirit of grace, 3,000 people got saved.

The law was full of condemnation; that if even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death (Hebrew 12:20). But thank God for His grace, that set us free from every condemnation, judgement, curse and punishment. Many believers still try to go back to Mount Sinai, where they try to keep the law and continue to fail at it.

The power of sin is strengthened in a believer's life, when they continue to live under the law. It is thought that, the more grace is talked about, the more sin increases; that's not true. "For sin shall no longer have dominion over you, because you are not under the law but under grace" (Romans 6:14). Get in, under the new wine; get in, under grace.

Our Daddy God has called us into His rest, where everything is provided and worked for, by His power. The stone jars represent the Law and they were six in number, representing humanity and self effort. When you mix law and self effort, what you get is water just good enough to wash the feet, but not for the body.

Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law unto us, He has done it all. You have to connect to the new, beloved i.e. grace. "The law was given through moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus" (John 1:17). So why still connect with the old, which is the law? The law has no power to save, but the grace of God brought salvation (Titus 2:11).

The Law was the mediator of the old covenant, which had all the dos and don'ts. But grace brought a better and everlasting covenant, where God gives us His "I wills"(Hebrew 8:10-12). So it has changed beloved; it's no longer based on you, but on God. It's God who works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasures (Philippians 2:13). Connect to the grace of God and watch Him work out His will, in and through you.

Prayer: Lord I connect to Your everlasting and ever present grace. Your grace lives through me, and works out its work in me. Amen

In 1 Corinthians 11.25, Jesus also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, every time you drink it, in remembrance of me". Wine is a symbol of the new covenant. The same verse NLT translation states that taking wine during communion, confirms the new covenant. Wine signifies Jesus' blood, Grace Himself. He is invariably telling us that Grace is here now; let it take over you and its sweetness will linger forever.

The head steward said, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and then the cheaper wine" (John 2.10). So EVERYONE ELSE comes with the best first, in their career, in marriage e.t.c.; but it later deteriorates and the enjoyment ceases. Not so with Grace: the best is kept for later, it can only get better in grace.

Verse 11 of John chapter 2 states; Jesus did this as the FIRST of His miraculous signs and the disciples believed. Jesus showed us Grace first- undeserved, unmerited favour. Everything in your life would go in the right part if only you truly believe in Grace; for right believing equates right living.

Beloved , Our daddy God is interested in us - He watches over us carefully. There was a celebration in Cana and Jesus was there. But the enemy tried to turn this joyous moment into sadness: the wine, the energizer, ran out.

Does it seem like the wine has run out in your marriage, academics or career? The wine ran out at this wedding. But thank God, the Alpha and Omega was there: He is love personified. It wasn't yet His time but He still stepped in. He NEVER wants to see us downcast.

There were 6 stone jars used for ceremonial washing at this wedding. The number six in Hebrew represents "humanity" and this jars were usually filled with water, used for cleansing before sacrifices were offered to God. The jars were made of stone, signifying the law. The Author of the new covenant decided to choose these particular ones, even though there were other jars in the house.

The jars represented human effort, our work in trying to "get to" God: the old covenant. Maybe you are trying too hard to make things right by yourself. It is still the old wine, it's bound to run out. It's time to trust our sweet Lord Jesus to turn things around for you.

Beloved, we have a good God, who loved us even while we were dead in sin. Our Lord Jesus didn't reconcile us to God, when we became born again; He did that while we were still in sin (Romans 5:10). In the past it was thought that one had to be clean before one can come to God: Just like washing up before jumping into the swimming pool.

Our Daddy God doesn't need you to be clean before jumping into the pool of His grace. The pool of Bethesda is a type of the pool of grace; where sick and diseased people jump into and are healed. What a sinners needs to do is believe that the pool of His grace will not only wash him/her, but that this pool will also keep him/her clean. Beloved, you don't need to stay away from this pool; it guarantees success, healing, restoration of your marriage, financial provision etc.

Saints, never stay outside this pool for a second. Like water is the habitat for fish and if the fish dares to stay away, it finds it difficult to breath and function: so it is for us as believers. The pool of His grace is our habitat. Function in your office, career, ministry, school, business from the pool of His grace and watch miracles and testimonies overtake your life, in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the pool of Your grace, I function from this pool in Jesus Name.

Beloved, in John chapter 5, Jesus came to Bethesda and He was drawn to a particular paralytic, because he had been in that state for a long time. God is not happy when we are in unpalatable conditions; He doesn't test his children with poverty, sickness etc.

A great number were there but Jesus singled him out. God loves us all but also individually (John 5:3,.
Jesus asked him if he wanted to get well; instead the man spoke about the natural process of things like connection, luck etc.

But Grace stepped in- Jesus said to him, “Stand up! Pick up your mat and walk” (John 5:. Grace defies the natural procedure; you don't need to be in a relationship for five years before getting married or a first class to get that desired job etc. Doing those things are not wrong but God's grace supersedes all that. It shifts one's eyes away from oneself, unto God. This grace is not for a select few, it's for all believers- sons of God.

Grace speaks continually on our behalf, all we need do is believe. Law follows the natural process, but His grace gives the blessed effect; the end result.
Lean on His grace today.

Beloved, you have been called into a higher life in Christ. You are to live on earth like you are in heaven— the truth is; you are in Heaven. You arrived at the Heavenly Jerusalem (Hebrews 12:22) the moment you became born again, so you ought to live life from that realm.

You might ask; why am I in this present situation? This does not change the fact that what God said about you is true. Let God be true and every other person or situations liars(Romans 3:4). God that spared not His Son but delivered Him up for you, why won't He FREELY give you all things? (Romans 8:32)

The interesting thing is; God has already given you all things to enjoy (1 Corinthians 2:12). Beloved, God's intent and purpose for your life is that you should not suffer any pain. Hold on to God's word and in no time, you will see the manifestation of His word in your life.
The Grace of God is on your life, so that you can utilize all the gifts and promises given to you. Don't let it go to waste due to UNBELIEF.

No wonder Paul said in the later part of Romans 1:17, "for I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the 'power' of God unto salvation, to all those who believe". So when you believe in the gospel, it becomes the power that is needed to effect a change in the believer's life.

If you've not believed this gospel with your heart, this is a time to do so. It's rather simple, yet powerful enough to transform lives and destinies.

Pray this prayer believing in your heart; "Lord Jesus, thank You for the great love You've showered on me, even when I didn't deserve it. I accept You today as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Lord, for saving me. Amen.

We start to sing songs like, "take me back dear Lord, to the place where I first received you". Beloved, what you should ask yourself is, what did I do to receive this great miracle in the first place? The answer is nothing, you just "believed" and you were justified. So, why move away from that important principle of "believing" into "doing"?

You might feel like you have to do something or you can't just sit around without trying to do the morally right things that are obtainable for the believer. Beloved, there is something that believers have not gotten a hold of, and that's "the power of right believing". When you believe in Jesus (the good news), there is an acting upon your heart by the dunamis of God (the grace power), that produces right living and doing.

Anyone can do right, but the issue is, what is the source of the "right doing"? Cornelius was a man that did the right things; he gave to the poor, the bible described him as a devout man. But this devoutedness had its roots in self effort and human ability. There was no way that would give him a right to God's inheritance. So God sent Peter to minister grace to him; this brought salvation to him and his household.

Are you like Cornelius, always trying to please God and man, through self-will? This is the time to accept Jesus, who will be the source, producing right doing in and through you.

Jesus is both the medium of revelation and He is also the revelation. He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life"; meaning He is the way through which the revelation of eternal life came, He is the vehicle that brought this life and He is the life that is been brought. So using a natural allegory: Jesus is the road on which the car drives, He is the car and He is also the package in the car.

When we believe in Jesus, we receive a full and complete package. When we became born again, what was produced in us was right believing, not right doing. It was "believing obedience" that was manifested in us, through the grace of God. This believing through grace, produced in us, peace that was beyond human comprehension. But have you noticed that after sometime, this peace seems to disappear?

Something went wrong; you no longer followed the simple pattern through which you were first initiated into the beloved. The greatest miracle in any person's life, is when they give their life to christ.
But after being born again, we sometimes move into another dimension, which would never have produced salvation in the first place. We move into "doing" rather than "believing" and we wonder why we no longer experience those things we used to feel, like when we first became saved.

Letters were written to 7 different churches in the book of Revelations. One of such churches is the Philadelphia church, which was referred to as the "faithful church". One of the phrases used in describing this church, was that it had little strength. Do you feel small and frail? God loves and cares about you.

The other churches were active, but they had stopped looking at the beginning and the end of their faith. Jesus wants us to stop looking at ourselves. Revelations 3.8 (CEV) puts it this way, "but you have paid attention to My word and have not denied my Name". The attention of the Philadelphia church, was on the word of His grace. We should follow their example.

Our eyes should be only on His Grace. In ourselves, we have no strength. Lean on God's everlasting arms.
"You obeyed my message and endured, so I will protect you" (Revelation 3.10). Once we realize that in us lies no strength, we then acknowledge His protection especially at this time when our beliefs are being tested. We cannot stand firm without His grace, it is the only insurance we have. Are you going through some storms in your life, marriage, business, career, school or ministry? This is the time to keep your eyes on Jesus; He has promised to deliver you from all those troubles.

Prayer: I stand firm in Your Grace Jesus. Even though I am frail, I trust in You to keep me safe.

The church of Ephesus, had fallen from grace: Jesus said, "remember from where you fell from and repent". The word repent is "change your mind". "Where you fell from" indicates, not necessarily a position but a status. They fell from grace into law; when a believer seeks to be justified by the law and their works, they fall from grace.

In your service to God, are you relying on your strength or ability? The mindset behind an action is what really counts. Are you working for God, because you want His blessing or because you are aware that you've been already blessed? Stop filling your mind with "me, myself and I" but with Jesus' finished works.

Allow the grace of God labour through you, just like Paul (1 Corinthians 15:10). Believe that the Lord loves you; He did that even when you weren't worth anything to Him. Embrace His love and grace, for there's no way you can please God by works. It is He that works in you, both the willingness and the doing of His own good pleasures. Allow our Daddy God's love work out His goodness and greatness in and through you.

Beloved, God is not after our good works. The 2nd verse of Revelation chapter 2 states, "I know your works..." But in the 4th verse, a clause is emphasized; the Message translation puts it this way, "but you walked away from your first love—why? What's going on with you, anyway?"

So, the same question is being put to us today, "what's going on, why walk away from your first love?"
God is not interested in works that come out of flesh, trying to do the right things; if the source is not Christ, those deeds are nothing. Our works become righteous only BECAUSE of Jesus in us. He is our first and only love. Without Him, nothing good can proceed out of us.

Stop looking at how righteous you are or how pure your life is. Our Saviour should be the focus, for He is the center that holds all. Once the focus shifts to our self effort, we begin to fall - "do you have any idea how far you've fallen? A Lucifer fall!" (Revelation 2.4 MSG).
Beloved, we need to stick to our first love. Return to His open arms today.

If believers can change their mindsets about God's love for them, it will change the way they act. Everyone knows that God loves the world, but many don't know that He loves them specially. Some even think that something extraordinary has to be done, for Him to turn His face towards them. Some think that God is like our earthly father, who has favourites. But this isn't true: God loves us all equally, He has no favourites in the new covenant.

Believers ought to be aware that God loves them, just as He loved Jesus (John 17:23). After our Lord and Saviour died and rose again, He was no longer the only begotten and beloved of the Father, He became the first born amongst many. Whenever the devil tries to fill your heart with guilt, condemnation or fear, remind him that you are not just a child of God, you are also beloved of God.

An in-depth understanding of this love is necessary, so that we can stop chasing shadows; the more one tries to "catch" them, the more they slip through one's hands. The first real thing is not the love you have for God, but that which He has for you. Return to His love, receive it. He wants to heal that broken heart, marriage, career etc. You know that you can always trust and depend on Him.

Beloved, we need to view our relationship with God differently. Some think that God is far away and they need to be pure before they can approach the thrice Holy God. If you are born again, this means that the Holy Spirit gave birth to you. God is your Father via birth, not by adoption. The word used in some versions is; "adopted" by God, It actually means "sonship".

God loved us and He sent Jesus to die for us, even while we were dead in sin. 1 John 3:1; "behold what manner of love the father has lavished on us, that we should be called the sons and daughters of God." God loved us first and continues to love us; but instead of constantly receiving His love, we try to earn it, through our services and sacrifices. Good actions, do not matter to God, what counts is the source of these actions. Do these good actions proceed from trying to love/please God by our own self effort?

We are meant to constantly receive His love. When we do this, the fruit will surely follow. And one of these is LOVE, which would overflow, first towards God and then men (Galatians 5:22). God has promised never to leave nor forsake you; even when you fall, God is always by your side to hold you up from sinking.
Won't you allow Him love you? God is waiting for you to change your mind and receive continuously His love.

Usually when this scripture is read, the first thing that comes to mind is how to go back to the first love one had for God. So, people try all they can to get back to that first time, when they felt newness of life. That would have been the period when nothing but the Gospel mattered to them. And there are many believers who are still seeking for how to get back to this point but all efforts seem to be futile.

Beloved, when Jesus was talking to the church at Ephesus on how they've left their first love, He wasn't referring to the love that they had for God. It was all about the love God had for them. The word "left" in greek, means "departed" or "divorced". What does it mean to depart from the first love? This means the believer is focusing more on the love he has for God. "This is love, not that we first loved Him, but that He first loved us, and gave His Son for us all" 1 John 4:10.

Quite trying to love God and striving to please him; rather receive His love for you. Your loving and pleasing Him should be a product of your receiving and believing in Him. "Repentance" means "changing one's mindset"; we have to change our minds on how we view God. The less is blessed by the greater: God is greater, so we have to constantly maintain an attitude of receiving from God. Receive His love for you and bask in it.

Your new history beloved began at the Cross; where you were crucified and resurrected with Jesus Christ. The life you now live is Christ's, lived through you by Him. Having this consciousness will take away the burden of "performance based" christianity. You will no longer be this person on sunday and another on monday. All you need to do is believe and focus on all that Jesus has accomplished, for you.

You would no longer live like a victim, but like the victor you are for Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Christ's victory is now yours. The warfare we are in and the weapons we fight with, are not physical but they are mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds and every high thing that raises itself against the knowledge of God, putting all imagination under the obedience of Christ(2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

The "obedience of Christ" is that which He suffered for us, thereby giving us His life. We should put our thoughts in line with our history; that is the cross, on which Christ's obedience gave us our new life. So beloved, are you facing challenges? it's time to focus on what Jesus did and what His obedience got on our behalf. His death and resurrection brought us victory.
You are truly victorious.

Knowing that the life you live is no longer yours, would cause you to let He who owns the life live it, through you. It is written; "the just shall live by faith". Whose faith was the bible referring to? Is it your faith or that of the Owner of this life? Everyday, we are to live by the faith of Jesus. The question on your mind might be, "how can I live by Jesus' faith, what about my own faith?"

Hebrews 12:2 describes Jesus as the author of your faith; if He is the author, that makes Him the "producer" of the faith, thus it wasn't your faith in the first place, but His. If you have a newborn baby in the family, you buy him/her a cot and you'll continuosly refer to it as "my baby's cot". You provided it for him/her, but because of love in your heart, you credit the cot to your baby. The same way, faith is credited to us but it really is Jesus' faith.

Have you lost all hope and your faith seems weak? Or that thing you've been hoping for hasn't come through yet? This is the time to focus more on Jesus: He is the producer of your faith. See His love and unmerited favour towards you, He is willing and ready to take the cares and burdens off you. Cast them all at His feet and believe. As you see His grace, His peace that surpasses every human understanding will well up in your spirit.

Being accepted by God frees you from struggles and labour. You are freed from the pressures to perform. You've been told that you had to perform and work before God would be pleased with you. Many believers are still under this yoke of "performance based christianity".

But knowing that God has already accepted you, lifts off this burden. Many people are disturbed by the above phrase, saying; "this would make the believers lazy". Certainly not!

This revelation empowers us to become more productive effortlessly. In the natural, people tend to be more productive when they are accepted. Jesus was accepted and accredited before men by the Father (this is my Son in whom I am well pleased), before He performed any miracle.

God does not accredit like men do; He is pleased with us first, then He works in us the desire and the willingness to do His pleasures. Live in the consciousness that you are accepted by God daily and see your life move, from one degree of glory, grace and peace, to another.

Prayer: I am accepted in the Beloved. Thank You, Daddy God. In Jesus name.

Have you ever thought, "am I pleasing to God?", "am I acceptable to Him?" When you became saved, God accepted you as His beloved. It didn't require any works, it was simply based on what Jesus did for you on the cross. You became qualified to access the room that had been kept secret from men and angels- the throne room of grace.

God is not an employer, who lists out different criteria you have to met before being accepted by Him. But many believers treat and view God this way. They try to get their acts, composure and behaviour together, before coming to God. "I can't come to Him until I get it right", they say; thus running away from God, because of this religious mindset.

Beloved, God is your father, He loves you. He has accepted you, you are pleasing to Him, once you became born again. As a loving Father, He does not want to leave you the way you are, He wants to transform your life. But you have to realise; inspite of all you have done and are still doing, He loves you unconditionally. Nowhere in the bible is it written, that God justifies the self-righteous or "he who has everything all together". It is written instead, "God justifies the ungodly"(Romans 4:5).

Before Jesus died, He requested for water. But vinegar(sour grapes) was given to Him on a sponge to drink and He drank it (John 19:30). There was a reason Jesus drank the sour grapes; He did it to fulfill 'something' on your behalf. From the biblical context, sour grapes signify generational curses.

Jeremiah 31:29; "In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten sour grapes (vinegar), and the children's teeth are set at the edge". Meaning that, the children suffered for the sins of their parents or ancestors. And Jesus took those sour grapes (vinegar), on our behalf, on the cross. After He took the drink, He cried out it is finished- all curses have been broken.

The children no longer need to be afraid, for Jesus took upon Himself our curse. So beloved, it's time for you to move ahead. It's time to cast all your cares on Him and to rest on His finished work.
Declare "I've been set free by Jesus, who is the Truth".

Prayer: Thank You daddy God for ending all those curses on the cross. I rest on Your finished work, Jesus.

When Jesus cried it is finished on the cross, He really meant it. No believer needs to finish the rest through series of deliverance sessions. The hebrew word for "it is finished" is "kulletah", meaning the work is completed and needs no more additions. Jesus did not give to us the kind of salvation that needs any effort or input from man.

In Ephesians 2:8; "for by grace are you saved (greek word "sozo", through faith, not of yourself least any man should boast, it is the gift of God". The word "sozo" is from the compound noun "soteria" which means saved, healed, delivered, preserved etc. Your deliverance is complete and provided for, by the finished work of Christ. He bore all your sins, sickness, sorrows, shame, guilt and curses in His body. So what do you need to enjoy all the benefits that Jesus provided? Just believe in His finished work. If the word of God says Jesus took all your curses away, you have to believe it.

Have you noticed any particular kind of illness or habit in your family, that seems to be plaguing you? Running from one deliverance house to another won't help; it's time to believe on what Jesus did for you. See Jesus taking all the pain away in His body and see His grace purging you from that addiction. Beloved, receive all that Jesus has made available to you.

It's really sad to see how many christians believe that they can be cursed. Some visit several deliverance services, seeking to break generational curses. They've been told, just like in the old testament, one can inherit the curse of one's forefathers, even after salvation.

Scriptures from books like, Exodus 34:6-7 "visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and fourth generation", are quoted as the basis of supporting such erroneous teachings and doctrines. Beloved, it's time for you to realize the truth in the word of God, Jesus did not just come to only die for your sins and to give you eternal life; He has given us so much more.

He will not leave any believer under any generational curse, after saving us from the curse of the law, by hanging on the cross. It's time to get off the wrong mindset beloved, it's held you down for so long. The devil has used these lies to hinder you from enjoying the full benefits of what Jesus did for you on the cross.

Beloved, Jesus is always there to hold us up. He is the firstborn of many brethren i.e. once you are born again, you are now linked to Christ. He loves you with an everlasting love, He will never leave you nor forsake you.

When Jesus came to earth as a baby, though it was not recorded, but He might just have been unaware of His surroundings. As a child, He had to trust in God the Father's care and love; that He (God) was there for Him (Jesus) and watching over Him (Jesus). Because Jesus trusted in His Father's love, He was able to submit to His earthly parents and wait for 30 years.

God cannot tempt with evil; if we know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more our Abba? (Matthew 7.) The devil tries to push those lying situation in our faces. Once, your attention is shifted to them, the challenges seem to be too much.
But cheer up, beloved! Jesus is with you, just like He never left Peter. Focus on the unmerited favour (grace) of God. Trust in His love.

Prayer: My focus is on Grace, I trust in the love of my Daddy God. Amen.

Sometimes, life may seem to be going the opposite way. You might have planned a different course, a totally different path; for your career, family, marriage etc. But it seems that this plan is failing, like nothing seems to be working.

The disciples felt the same way; they had followed Jesus for 3 years, they seemed untouchable. They thought that He was coming to fight for Israel. But, He came to die, saving us all. They weren't thinking along this path, His death would have hit them hard.

Maybe life is hitting you hard, the blows seem relentless; nothing seems to be stopping your fall. Beloved, Jesus is closer than you think. The disciples were distraught so much, that they couldn't recognise Jesus even though He was beside them. Saints, Jesus won't let go of you; "absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us" (Romans 8.39 MSG).

Beloved, a heart of grace is a heart of gratitude. The one leper that came back to Jesus, received wholeness because he had grace in his heart. When a believer's heart is filled with grace, he would be taught of the Lord. In Titus 2:12 AMP; "grace trains us to reject and renounce all ungodliness and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lifes in this present world".

Spiritual wholeness beloved, comes from a heart that recognises and allows the grace of God guide and direct him on how to live the Zoe life; this life is ruled by the peace of God (Colossians 3:15). Saints, do you want to experience God's Shalom (peace) in your life? Then your heart must be full of thanks, to your daddy God.

Thanks cannot be separated from grace. When you are rooted in grace, you will abound in thanksgiving and your life moves from glory to glory. To live a spiritually whole life, we have to abound in thanksgiving, to the giver of life and the source of our Faith (Colossians 2:7)

Prayer: My daddy God, I thank You. My life is established in Your faith, in Jesus Name.
