I strongly feel that the Nigerian Police needs to look into these allegations because they’re rather shattering the image the Nigerian Police’s meant to have. There are some bad eggs that need to be rooted out. They’re the ones giving the Police a bad name.

It’s rather unfortunate to see that this age long scam still works. Sometimes it catches in on the greed of the victim; while sometimes it’s “Vodoo” at work (Juju/jazz) that would compel the victim to do as they say and sometimes it’s just mere pity trying to help out the “estranged” Alhaji or foreigner. Bottom line, Be careful! Don’t be quick to offer help or even give audience to such people.

Cos if na Jazz and you sef no dey secured ( either jazz mode or God Mode). You will fall for it.

You mindset is really immature... They are thousands of young boys under 23 years making a whole lot of cash legitimately in Nigeria and abroad.

I got my first job Offshore after school when i was 21, I balled hard cos I had a good paying job, that doesn't mean you should tag every young successful guy a criminal.

SARS are doing a good jobs in terms of curbing criminal activities, but they have overstepped their bounds on violating human rights and killing innocent citizens of the FRN.
What we need now is to revamp the whole system, given them a name tag and service number for more identification, train them and punish them when they go haywire.

Those guys are seriously lucky. Maybe because Nnamdi Kanu was with them.

It wasn't luck or the presence of NK with them...Some military personnel still have that modesty needed to differentiate between a threat and a passers-by.

No kidding at all...All we need is an enabling environment for things to thrive and take shape...as bad as people claim the economy to be, there are people who still make a living bountifully through legitimate means...don't be fooled by the system, make the system work for you...

In my opinion, if the job doesn't offer you value in terms of knowledge, opportunities and monetary compensation .. I would advise you reconsider it because your time is precious for your personal development.

Knowledge, Yes...Opportunities...Yes...monetary compensation, its a No Cause if it was for the cash, I would have stopped long ago...I'm garnering all the experience I can get but I just feel it doesn't have to be this way...

I wouldn't toot my horn about how devoted I am but I have tried to change where I worship just cause of this but I still don't meet up cause of the time frame, Just as I'm stepping in to church, My phone rings and its Proceed, No excuses.

No I haven't

I'm a fresh graduate, yet to serve but presently working with an Oil and Gas inspection company based on freelance. I love the job but the working hours aren't pleasant to say the least. Work sundays to sundays, No break even on public holidays. There are chances of me being retained as a staff after my NYSC but sincerely I'm having cold feet because of this working hours. Need your Urgent Advice.
