Following your logic then Buratai a northern Muslim should not have any problem with this government which has been labeled in some quarters as pro-muslim and anti-christian about securing his assets rather its Akpabio who should worry thereby defecting to APC.

As long as Kwankwaso is in PDP and in Kano, he has zero electoral value. APC knows this anyway. The whole defection thing is for the optics and PR— he is a former Kano Governor and announcements of his defection, while irrelevant in the scheme of things in Kano, will fill the airwaves especially in Southern Nigeria where their understanding of northern politics is quite limited, at worst, ignorant.

I agree with you but don't generalize your opinion on 'some' people in Southern Nigeria as being ignorant. Some of us know that Kwankaso cannot defeat PMB. PMB has won in Kano before APC and that is not likely to change

OSUN EAST or Ife/Ijesha senatorial district has only 10 local government plus Ife East Area Office in Modakeke. In Ijesha which comprises of six local government Apc will win but their chances of winning by a wide margin might be affected with the incursion of Alhaji Moshood Adeoti's(Sheu) ADP and the votes for PDP in these area in previous elections will now be shared with SDP. In Ife comprising of four Lgas and one AO Omisore will win but PDP will also gain ground and APc will also pull some strength.
OSUN EAST comprises of ten local governments and not 13 as your post will make us to believe. My analysis of Osun East is based on my own humble opinion and personal finding as a stakeholder.

APC might not win in Ife which has four local governments but the party will be able to get at 25% in all four. Some people believe APC will not get votes in the upcoming election, issokay. Not a fan of the party but APC haters are mainly the workers, which is understandable. Amongst the populace APC has foot soldiers who well on ground to drive support for the party which they been doing since 2006.

PDP started fake winning since 1999 we don't even know whether they will still be better in organizing it. Anyway APC is just perfecting what the master started. But Nigerians see as these two parties dey use us play.

A few weeks ago, it was anounced that Akeju, the evil genius in election result manipulation had been transferred to Osun State as the unpire for the 2018 election in the state. Surprisingly, there was no single reaction from any of the opposition party members.

Maybe the people of Osun State have forgotten too quickly: it was the same Akeju that rigged the 2014 election in favour of Aregbesola. Shortly after he did that, he was transferred to Oyo State to repeat the same. Although the opposition party members in Oyo State protested his transfer to Oyo State saying they were not stupid as Osun people who could take nonsense, Akeju was imposed on the state. A few years later, he is back in Osun State again to repeat what he did in 2014. As far as I am concerned, so much as Akeju is the INEC commissioner for Osun State, the chances of the opposition parties of winning the election are very slim.

As a suggestion, I urge all the opposition party members to be prepared to guard their votes. They should watch out for sponsored thugs or political stalwarts that will surely be on ground to snatch ballot boxes so as to stuff ballot papers in them. They should be prepared to see security agents comprosing on the day just like it happened in Ekiti. They should eschew any act of vote-buying so that the blame can totally be on the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Finally, they should reject any idea that is anti-election transparent that may be put forward by the INEC in Osun such as non-use of phones at polling units, as such idea is to give undue advantage to the rulling party. Thanks.

Mr Segun Agbaje is the Osun State REC (as at yesterday) except you have an official notice from INEC appointing you friend, Akeju as Osun REC which you can show us and you direct to where you got your information from, then PLEASE STOP spreading falsehood on this forum. We know the federal INEC conducted free and fair elections in 2014 and APC won, I don't know what will happen in September but I know that election will be won by somebody who Is contesting on the platform of a serious political party.
