Better make informed comments here. If they are not doing any work as you claim, why does the Federal Government maintain the scheme? They are absolutely entitled to the 70k which is the new minimum wage.

Its like u are a corper, thats why u are fighting for them.
FG is only paying them as upkeep fees for the service year so they can have something to survive on. That doesn't or shouldn't automatically make them "entitled" who or what qualifies a corper to 70k
I asked uba question apart from on election years which work corper dey for FG to make them entitled to 70k/month? As a matter fact the FG is doing corpers a favor paying them (its like a grant)
However, the government of today is overburdened and so there is need to offload some excess luggage's like NYSC!!

Nigeria is seriously in dangerous debt and we haven't even sorted that out As far as i am concerned NYSC should be for max, 3-6months, pay them off and let them move on. 12 yrs crossing country is an absolute waste of time, lives, and resources. If only u know how many corpers have lost their lives during service u will understand that the scheme is a waste of time. Corpers pay is not Nigerias problem right now, the country has BIGGER FISH to fry
