Pls ooo my people, I want to ask a question. I was having a discussion with someone who was nominated by a particular province. According to her application, she mentioned a particular city in the province where her sponsor stays. Now, the bone of contention is that she will not be staying in that city indicated in her application but another, however she will maintain same PNP province. Is it right? I told her she MUST stay compulsorily in the city and province indicated in her application but she is saying her sponsor said it is not mandatory she stays in the city, however it is a must she must reside in the nominating province. How true is this? |
Medicals have not been done yet o. Just the appointment that has been scheduled. [/quote What I mean is that when you go for the medicals, after taking your pictures, there is a section where they ask for your details which will be printed on the document you will be given to upload as evidence of upfront medical. Incase nothing is asked about your passport details, just chip it in that you made a mistake while booking appointment. If needed, they should please rectify it. If not done, the wrong number will be transmitted with your result. Speaking from my own experience. |
![]() |
ciwi: It is a problem naaa. You need to notify them of the mistake and request for rectification before your medical results are transmitted. Biko it matters, request for rectification biko. |

I think the gift deed should be a better option. My dear, please seek other people's views also. Cheers |

Ca08abe: I and my husband had a similar experience but in our case he was the PA. A friend in Canada who also went through the process advised I do the below immediately. 1. Open a joint account. We opened a joint account, moved money individually into the account. From my husband's salary account and my personal savings account. 2. Open a fixed deposit. We opened a time deposit investment (fixed deposit) to run for 182days with gtbank. Bear in mind that we opened a joint account with gtbank also for ease of transfer and explanation.to IRCC. 3. We presented the following as POF *Individual account statement. We did this so as to explain the inflow of funds into the joint account. My personal savings account and my husband's salary account. *Joint account statement *Fixed deposit investment certificate *Pension (25%) for both of us. Individual documents from our pension managers. *LOE explaining all the above. *Letter of non-indebtedness Since you don't know when it will get to you in terms of the draw, you can open a fixed deposit investment. Just my own opinion on how we navigated. We have gotten PR. PS: we indicated that we both had access to the full funds at all times. We both signed the LOE. 4 Likes |

Dimple10: I got a mail notification from you. I have responded. I hope I did properly. Not too familiar with nairaland |

Naffyfera: If I am getting you right: 1. For sibling relationship: I used birth certificate 2. Proof sibling is a Canadian: I uploaded his citizenship certificate 3. Proof that sibling is in Canada: I submitted his utility bill and account print out. I hope this answers your question. 1 Like 1 Share |

ehiremen2002: I don't think there is a standard timeline for Biometrics request. I submitted application on April 11th and got Biometrics request on June 29th. So it might come in anytime from now. Cheers. |

Dimple10: Thanks so much. The barcodes and the link you sent came in handy. God bless you. The lady obviously imputed the email wrongly. 1 Like |

Good day all, hope our day is going well. Please for those that dropped off their passport at VFS Lagos Office personally, did you get an email acknowledgement for receipt of your documents? Since I submitted yesterday morning, I haven't gotten any notification from them till now. I even paid for sms, still nothing from that end too. Is this normal? |

croxx86: YES.....I paid for my 2 kids under 5 years. #9,410 each at Lagos VFS! |

fadeofresh: I hope my experience will help you navigate properly what to do. I got a ready for visa mail on the 25th of July 2022 without my second baby born in May this year reflecting in my application. I had already notified them previously via webform but got no response. I had to swing into action immediately to facilitate the addition of my baby. These are the steps I took: 1. I replied them through the RFV mail, notifying them of the existence of my newborn and my intention to add her as an accompanying dependent. I also informed them I had notified them via webform before the mail but got no response. 2. I attached the documents I had available to back up my claims in the mail I sent. *Birth certificate *Baby's picture *NIN slip because I did not have the international passport available *LOE for medicals with the appointment booking. I had not done medicals for her yet but I had booked appointment with Qlife *LOE for International passport with application print out and appointment booking print out. She had not been captured yet but she had been booked for capturing. I was working on a reschedule for her because the capturing date was for September 12. *LOE with documents for updated POF to now accommodate a family of 4 instead of 3. I got a response via same mail on the 26th of July, that they are writing to acknowledge receipt of my notifications, however I need to resend the attached documents because they are more than 5mb. I had to compress the documents and re-sent them. I got another response on the 27th of July with the body of the mail stating *Good day, Please be advised that the final decision was removed on your application in order to facilitate the addition of your child to your application. Please do not submit your passports at this time. You will be contacted in due course regarding the next steps required. On the 29th of July, I got another mail asking me to check my profile for update as they require some documents from me to complete the addition. I was given 30days to do this, which expires on the 28th of August. I had to pay extra to reschedule appointment for her capturing and paid another extra to fast track the production of the passport. I finally got the passport on the 18th of August and I uploaded and submitted all the documents requested of me on mycic account on the 20th of August using the placeholder provided. I still notified IRCC via same RFV mail trail of the uploaded documents they requested for on the 20th of August. On the 23rd of August, I got a response from IRCC informing me that they have received successfully the uploaded documents. On the 24th of August, I got a mail for me to check my profile for a new update. I checked and realized my baby has been successfully added. On the same 24th of August, I received another Ready for Visa mail which I will be submitting our passports on Monday next week at VFS Lagos. For now, use the RFV mail sent to you to communicate with them. Webform they delay things. They might see it and they might not. But the RFV mail will definitely deliver directly to your processing officer. All my communication was through the RFV mail I received on the 25th of July 2022. The process of addition was very fast for me. I was totally surprised. I wish you all the best in yours. 16 Likes |

Good afternoon all, hope our day is going well. I got a request letter in mycic account requesting I upload some documents to facilitate addition of my new born. I thought a section will be created for her to upload documents into placeholders with labels BUT I observed just one placeholder (named replacement documents) was provided under my husband's section who is the principal applicant and it was labeled "KITS, APPLICATION FORMS". Am I supposed to merge all the requested documents into one and upload? I am asking because I know from experience with the application that placeholders have size limit. Please I await your response biko as I am confused. |

Good afternoon all, hope our day is going well? If so, glory to God. Please I need you all, your advice as it is urgent. My husband got a ready for visa mail and he was asked to complete the below steps within 30 days in order for the office to issue COPR. Our challenge now is that my new born has not been added. I sent series of case specific form to update them on the new born and also explain to them the unavailability of international passport for her. I guess they did not see any. In the mail, a webform link was provided for any update in change of circumstances but the challenge we have is not knowing our processing office. Which is part of the questions asked. The email address we got the ready for visa mail is from the below: IRCC.cio-brcd.ircc@cic.gc.ca Please we need urgent help and advice on how to respond correctly to the mail sent. Do we need to send our passport and later send that of our baby OR wait till hers is ready? It will be ready in last week in August, Biko, ejoor, edakun help my family please @dimple10 @graciouswords @allegory |

Dudu06: 1. For iom, you will get their account details and make payment before your appointment date. Their payment is not like Qlife that you pay to book appointment. You book appointment and then make payment. You then take a hard copy of the proof of payment with you on the appointment day. 2. Maybe you are picking a date or time allocation no longer available. Not sure, just saying 1 Like |

Good morning all, wishing us all a fruitful Friday. Please I am experiencing a bit of challenge while trying to add my baby with the documents I have. While filling the webform, I was asked for the processing office and I have no idea. Please, for those that are in my current situation or understands my challenge, please how do I navigate this. It's urgent I add my baby as soon as possible to avoid delay with the application processing. Please, what do I do? I have requested a friend to help me request for GCMS notes but he has not been successful with that yet. He is a Canadian citizen. Help a sister please |
