How does the creation of Anioma State reduce FG's presence and representations accruing to Ndi Igbo? It baffles me that we always feign intelligence but from all ramifications, it seems like we are really lacking upstairs. Instead of pushing for all our Igbo brothers and sisters that were deliberately carved out from the SE and merged with the SS and NC so as to form that major political block and reclaim our stance as a major ethnic group, you guys are convulsing over Orlu State. For all you advocates for Orlu State, et al., are you trying to say that by further partitioning your small region into bits and fragments because of the embedded greed of some of your political 'leaders' who, instead of distributing infrastructural developments so as to ensure that all nooks and crannies within the state gets developed, chose to concentrate all the developmental infrastructures within their own enclave at the detriment of the state, Ndi Igbo and the SE at large will be better served? I am still trying to wrap my head around why a certain number of you guys would prefer splitting yourselves up instead of expanding into a much more powerful block. Has it ever crossed your minds that the carving out of our people into Benue, Delta, and Rivers States was deliberately done so as to reduce the bargaining power of the SE? Why do you guys think they often refer to the SE as 'Dot'? Now that an opportunity has presented itself for that additional state, even though we know that it is going to be an exercise in futility, you people, because of your own parochial interests, have started to derail the whole process by trying to make a state out of your villages. The only state the SE needs for now is a state that will be acknowledged as our Igbo brethrens who, currently, are domiciled outside the SE region and are sure to be incorporated back into the Igbo fold. Any additional state that is to be created must not be for further partitioning of any of the 5 states within the SE but instead be one that pulls together all the Igbos from Benue, Kogi, Rivers, etc. For now, only Anioma State cuts it! 3 Likes |

Instead of seeking a way of how to encourage our Igbo brothers and sisters that were carved into the SS region to get the extra state that is to be added to the SE, you guys are busy partitioning yourselves into smaller bits because you lack the ability to use state resources to develop all zones simultaneously. A leader from one zone will become so selfish that he would want to concentrate every development only within his domain. It is very clear that the problem with Igbos have, all this while, been self inflicted. If we discriminate against ourselves like this without this Biafra, tell me what will happen if we finally break out of Nigeria? Every single Hamlet would want to be a state because of senseless greed. Everybody will aspire to be president at the same time simply because one zone will want to corner everything at the detriment of the others forgetting that collective resources are for the development of the whole territory. Somebody, the other day, was even hoping for Anambra to be partitioned and lumped into Orlu to form Orlu State while holding onto his dear Enugu State. He was questioning why Nsukka wants to form a state of their own but he has already carved out certain areas of Anambra that, in his opinion, will be better off joining Orlu to form the new state. Later these same group of people will start shouting that all the Igbos domiciled in the SS region are Igbos, isn't it? The all round development going on at the same time in Anambra keeps them awake at night so it would gladden their hearts to partition Anambra in order for the lagging state to catch up. Is this not wizardry? Little wonder why those Igbos in the SS detest been identified as Igbos because they feel one greedy zone will hijack their resources and form "King Kong" over them. Something must be fundamentally wrong with Ndi Igbo. Na wa for una o! 4 Likes |

Are you guys not ashamed of yourselves? Every single day of the week is always the same approach to life for you guys. From sun up to moon down, you guys are always bickering like witches and wizards quarrelling in their coven. Some of you don't even sleep again because you want to condemn developments happening in a state that is not yours. Why can't you people create another thread where you can all meet yourselves and constitute your nuisances? Dem swear for una? The real Ndi Anambra are no longer saying anything because, since some of you have turned yourselves into unofficial SA Media/Spokespersons to both Ndi Anambra and the ANSG, they have all decided to become spectators. One can understand the love for the homeland but it is not everything you must react to. Learn to overlook some comments at times. Envious people must always show themselves. Also, for those of you not from Anambra, why must every news about Anambra attract you guys like moths to a flame? Why is it that whenever you hear of any positive development emanating from Anambra, it is like your erectile dysfunction starts to respond positively to treatment? Don't you guys have anything lucrative to do with your lives? You hear about an ongoing road construction going on within Anambra, Abia people will come up with the one Otti is doing in Aba. Enugu person will push the lamba of how Enugu became Dubai even before Dubai. An Ebonyi person will fly his own kite that Anambra is trying to copy their technology. Someone from Imo will jump into the ring that they did it first. The same with an Anambra person on hearing that any state is doing something productive, the unofficial spokespersons will claim that they want to be like us. Wetin dey worry una sef? Must everything be competition for you guys? We have not gotten Biafra o, yet you hate yourselves this much. Tell me what is going to happen if, eventually, we succeed in getting this Biafra. Some of us, because of the envy and hate for the successes of our fellow Igbo brothers and sisters, will sell our brethrens to the same Nigeria we separated from. Make una dey try get sense na! 6 Likes |

If your car is not up to at least a 2019 model, please go play somewhere else. I should show you my payslip before you believe? Are you this stupid or someone jinxed you? SpaceTour:Can you now see how shallow and stupid you really are? You are just empty upstairs. You instructed your manager by attaching a write up to the windshield of a car? Is that how you treat memos in your conglomerate? You be really Nchi. I was expecting you to man up and send me your email not knowing that your stupidity, on a scale of 1 to 10, is even 12. You are shallow, stupid, foolish, worthless in fact, you are the epitome of what every sane human being should pray not to become. I know you were sick but never knew it is Insanity. SpaceTour:I wanted to ignore you but let me make this last one concise. Idleness has made you constitute yourself into Anambra State's Thread Police. I am quite happy for you. At least you can be productive in Nairaland. Show me an idle man and I will show you the originator of generational poverty upon his lineage. I wish you and all your descendants the very best. At least in the next 200 years to come, when the generational poverty would have been well rooted in the lives of your descendants by virtue of your current idleness and job as Anambra Nairaland Thread Police, the Eze-Mmou will not struggle too much during 'Igba Afa' to know that the root cause of the poverty was from one useless Idiot that went by the moniker of "SpaceTour" even though we know he has a gazillion of others he alternates at will to like his senseless posts while on earth. Your descendants will be busy pouring Seaman Schnapps to appease Ndi Ichie thinking that the generational poverty was inflicted upon them by the enemies not knowing that the nicompoop was the architect of their misery. I purposely wanted to correct this your crazy mindset that you are the only Anambra person here. You aren't from Anambra because if you were, you would have told me your home town at the drop of a hat. You have never contributed anything meaningful in this thread but you are always so quick to crawl out from one of your numerous hibernation tunnels whenever anybody says something about Anambra. That is how you go into every state's thread like a lunatic bringing shame to our homeland. Who appointed you Chief Whip? A true Anambra son or daughter doesn't respond to everything he/she sees. We deliberately try to outperform others with our meticulousness. We don't have to measure dicks with anybody or state. If not that your stupidity is directly proportional to your age and right now, it is positively tending towards infinity, you would have known that Anambra is not supposed to be measuring with other states in the SE in terms of infrastructures when we can aspire to be like other states that are doing well. Is it a crime, I ask you, if Anambra models its city after Abuja? Did Lagos wait for the other states in the SW before building its rail system? If truly your comrades do like your posts, then it only goes to show that while your own foolishness is still in the Ground State, their own is already in an Excited State. SpaceTour:I have always read your posts anytime you drop one of your, normally, child-like posts. Do you have this penchant for stupidity? You must be an imbecilic slowpoke if you must know. Rather, there's no difference between your brain and the one of a goat. As an introduction, I am from Igbariam which makes me an Anambrarian. I think it's high time we started introducing ourselves in this thread before we start yapping. Did you really take your time to go through the write up? Or you just want to, as always, put your stupidity on exhibition? You have this craze for always wanting to compare development in Anambra with that of other states in the SE. It must really be tickling your Adam's Apple whenever you talk about AMC and ICC. You 'd get an erection always when you fly that kite, don't you? I am sure you always get an orgasm each time those words leave your mouth. Are you telling me that because Anambra is the most developed in the entire SE, we should start popping Champagne? Is anything wrong in asking ANSG to model our capital city after Abuja? Everyone that posts anything here has his/her reasons for doing so. It has become a habit for you to always wiggle out from one of your numerous burrows to say Anambra is the most developed in the entire SE. I and others of like minds would want Anambra to be at par with Abuja, Rwanda, or Morocco. If you have any health issues you are suffering from, go take your medication. Nitwit! 2 Likes |

I thought that I came across a post here when someone was saying Gov Soludo with the ANSG was planning building a Film Village? Has the plan been shelved as usual? Lagos State Government is about building same. How is it that everything Gov Soludo promises to do, he never follows up? While Onitsha Market was deliberately left to decay with no plans in sight to transform it into a modern commercial city, Delta State Government was busy pimping Asaba to corner the commercial activities Onitsha was formerly known for. The usual turning a blind eye to everything. You take a look at Awka Capital, there's nothing there in the resemblance of a capital city. Awka doesn't have to start and end with the Enugu-Onitsha Express and its Three (3) Obiano Bridges. We have ACTDA that is supposed to do exactly what FCDA does in Abuja but nothing is seen to be working other than the periodic allocation of lands to private estate developers for their own interests. Is anything wrong if Gov Soludo creates districts just like we have in Abuja where the ANSG can plan, design, and build the Dubai-Taiwan prototype? We don't even have to go to Dubai or Taiwan to get the requisite prototype as Abuja is always a case study if we want to get it right. If it is greenery we want, Abuja has it. If it is roads with walkways and bus stops, Abuja also has it. You visit some locations in Abuja and you find that all the electric cables are underground. Proper waste management and water supply, Abuja try for the porsh areas too. There are roads with setbacks as institutionalized in the Abuja Master Plan. You come to Anambra, every building has shanties attached to it as makeshift shops. You won't know which area is for Residential, Commercial, or Mixed. Every little space is a market. No setbacks, no greenery, no nothing! Abuja is called the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) but we still have Federal Capital City (FCC) within it where every other development stems from and spreads into the hinterlands. Can ANSG not replicate same? Can we not decide to go to a virgin land, if Awka indigenes are making it impossible, and deliberately build our own Awka Capital City inside the Awka Capital Territory? You see a picture of Awka, you see local villages just like the villages of everyone of us here. "Some of our villages sef dey planned pass the Awka sef". The worst part is that Gov Soludo even live(d) in Abuja and he has lived overseas as well. Can the ANSG not, as a matter of urgency, begin to develop the new Awka Capital City from the Government House axis by dualizing the roads to where he wants to be known as the new capital city? Are there no Town Planners in Anambra State? Is it a crime if we have neighborhoods planned like Maitama, Asokoro, etc? If Abuja is a "Tug of War" for us to model our capital after, can we not visit Akwa-Ibom and copy from them? ANSG talks of planting trees, I haven't seen one Elephant Grass planted anywhere. We speak of road construction here, Gov Otti is constructing roads with street lights and road markings. JB is currently working in our backyard yet we can't even summon the courage to either approach them to even give us an estimate for for construction of any important road or the channelization of drainages in the Onitsha metropolis. "Na only talk we wan dey talk?" Is there any road in Anambra with a designated Bus-Stop? No plan for public transport system while we have one of our own in the person of Innoson. Can ANSG not partner with Innoson to produce for us special CNG buses with ramps for people living with disability? What is the benefit of having our own Innoson if we can't brandish our own unique custom made buses? Thank God for the new roads with walkways that are not even friendly to people living with disabilities. But, Charlie still try small sha! To be frank, I don't think we are serious. Obiano finished his own and ran to the U.S where he can walk comfortably his dog on a well paved street with greenery and walkway without being afraid of getting knocked down by an accelerating muscle car. Try walking even a brown dog along any street in Awka, both you and the dog will be the same colour of the mud in the street. I am beginning to conclude that Awka was deliberately left to be slum because all the governors didn't want to elevate it to the status of a befitting capital at the detriment of their own home towns and LGAs. "Make una tell Gov Soludo say time dey go o!" It took ANSG 15 months to construct an airport but it has nearly taken 2 years to even complete the Avio Bridges that had been paid for. "Na wa o!" 3 Likes |

Guys, let me ask this question! Has the Zieglar Airport Crash Tenders arrived or they have been diverted to an unknown destination? The same goes for the Avio Bridges because it seems nothing is happening as regards update since Obiano left office. 5 Likes |

It baffles me the way people think the struggle for Biafra can be gotten from 'Sitting @ Home' on Mondays. This struggle, whether anybody likes it or not, can only be achieved by following diplomatic channels. I thought Simon Ekpa is in the diaspora? How many times have protests been done and sustained at the gates of UN, EU, AU, even ECOWAS Secretariat respectively? These are the places that matter if any form of referendum is to take place. If the Biafran Agitators can win their sympathy, these organizations can mandate and pressure the FGN to carry out the referendum being clamoured for by the people of the South-East. This constant 'Sitting @ Home' will only impoverish people struggling to make ends meet. The ones under the employ of the FG and State Govs will always receive their salaries at the end of the month (even with promotions). If caution is not applied, a time shall come when the down trodden, having found themselves between a rock and a hard place, will call bluff this sitting at home because for everyday they lock shops, they loose income for that day. The guys in the diaspora should be building bridges, using their contacts to garner the sympathy from the above listed organizations; and nobody should destroy the homeland we all hold dear to our hearts. I don't think anybody doing any meaningful business will be in support of the 'sit at home' that has now turned into a scenario which can best be described as " Na we against our governors for South-East". At the end of the day, these group of people claiming to be "freedom fighters" will only succeed in destroying our homeland the same way the Bandits and Boko Boys are doing to the North. The Man in Aso Rock no send anybody o! 4 Likes |
