Lol this Upwork sef, sometimes I wonder if the people who post jobs there are real people, you'd send proposals upon proposals and you never get feedback, it's as if there's no one on the platform, it's quite baffling.

You just have to be persistent. I haven't gotten a job on the forum too but of recent I try to send proposals as much as I can. I have gotten some responses from clients but it never pulled through. I believe I definitely will get a Job on the site one day as long as I am persistent.

I have been applying what Qtguru said, go straight to the point and don't send proposals for jobs with a high number of proposals like 50.

Hello guys, im having trouble sending 10$ that i worked for from my upwork account to my local bank(access bank). Each time i try, i get a rejected withdrawal mail, claiming that the funds were rejected by my bank. please who else is experiencing this issue?

Are you sure it's not because the account has no fund in it. Mine displays a pop up to update my TIN whenever I log in.

No I haven't. Did you also use a random data for your account? plus who knows Upwork might come with a policy to verify the TIN. I have no idea. I just wanted to be sure there is no implication if I decide to just use my NIN like the other poster suggested

Yes they are. You will understand when you graduate. I remember seeing them in school as an undergraduate. I didn't understand what the profession entails. people didn't really place value on them. I am actually speaking from experience. God ahead with it. You will love it when you graduate. It gives you an opportunity to make impact on the lives of vulnerable people in the society. It also pays well and open doors if you are able to get job in an NGO that pays well.

Social workkkkk oh. it's gaining ground in Nigeria. Once you gain experience especially working with vulnerable people in rural areas which is the key area social work focuses on, you can get jobs with international organization if you are experienced. Please read up about social work so you will understand.

International bodies like USAID fund huge projects by partnering with local NGOs to provide support for these vulnerable ones in the society. By vulnerable I mean people living with HIV/AIDS, Orphans, low income household etc.

I came to a conclusion after all said and done that he was fine without sense (relationship wise). I actually said this to him though. He was toxic too. He also has his good side as he was very hardworking. I learnt a lot from him.

That would be dangerous waters. Personal registration nowadays is tied to individual NINs. Any business they do with the number(s) you registered for them would forever be under your identity.

I'm sure SIM registrations for businesses would require typical business documents like CAC reg no and co.

You hit the nail on the head. In as much as we all want to make money, this wouldn't be one of the ways I want to make money. I jump and pass if its for an ulterior motive.

I have a client who contacted me and requested that he would like for me to purchase and register a couple of sim cards in Nigeria for his online business. I am skeptical because I hear stories and a part of me is not sure it would be used for a legal business. What's your take? Thanks.

-You haven’t earned in 2 years.

Basically inactiveness. Clients can see/read your proposals when you submit proposals, but they can’t find you. It is nothing really, just keep applying.
