I hardly update my phone due to lack of a stable network. But I think I may just get this once I have wifi. Did you use your normal data to download it?

Yep! I used normal data. Psiphon cheat sef. I was scared it would disconnect but it didn't. See the screenshots I shared.

I wouldn't be surprised you have other accounts. It would only take one that has ever gone through such stress to know such is possible. How exactly do you know such is possible?
Phones / Re: My Techno Android Resets Itself Each Time It Goes Off by Chikote(m): 1:21pm On Nov 06, 2015
Exactly, it could be a virus issue. Could happen with any other smartphone. Could use Bitdefender on any system to scan your device. Then if same issue persists, do well to follow the instructions of others.

Lol. I love clash of kings too. Such an addictive game. Part of the reason I even got the Camon. The display makes the game really enjoyable.

Well... I didn't get the phone for this cause. But I really do enjoy playing the game mehn. It's ranking as my top used app. Started last month, I'm in Lord level 17, Castle level 14.

What's yours?

So this morning, I just thought to check out my systems update to see if there's anything new. Honestly, I didn't expect to see anything new. It was almost even somewhat out of mockery. Getting to see something impressive from Tecno. On clicking to refresh, I got an update. I never expected to see one. Downloaded and installed it.

No regrets so far. I now get H+ on mobile data, my UI has impressively become a lot more beautiful. Looks like RAM optimization has even improved. Doesn't look to me like the lollipop blootware would be boring afterall. And important of all, notification problems, particularly whatsapp and BBM have been fixed.

I couldn't wait to share. Check for update too, download and install. Help me look to see I'm not alone in this. grin wink

Yes! I play clash of kings too.

No doubt the phone was good, probably one of the best phones Tecno has ever made but one man's brutality is another man's gentility
LOOOL. Are you lightskinned? Dude... I'm black. And from the rough. I don't do gentle. Even the Camon I'm using now is going through hell. When I mean brutal, I mean it literally.

If you're seeking to root the phone because of cheat, my nigga... You don't need to root your Camon to make it work. There are apps that help for that.

Tecno exist only in Nigeria and neighbouring countries, even the Chinese aint buying them, put tecno on Google see what comes up.. I will dig up this thread in a few months time.

Xiaomi competes with the big boys; constant updates, impressive hardware, cheap prices..tecno na feather weight..if you follow tech internationally, you will know who Xiaomi is..

http://www.ibtimes.com.au/huawei-new-tech-giant-challenging-apple-samsung-xiaomi-among-others-1480700

And Tecno is competing with small boys? Lol. These guys have a wider range in the Nigerian market. I'm not even talking about outside naija at the moment. Competing with Samsung and Sony. In our own smartphone market here.

I know who Xiaomi is. Truth is, there's no perfect smartphone. So, no matter the specs these guys bring, they'll still be some element of crap in it.

So, I doubt if Tecno would be easily displaced. Even infinix would be competition for the Xiaomi guys.

Xiaomi has the financial muscle to run techno out of town, I hope they succeed.. Africans deserve good phone not some cheap OEM no one has heard off..

You're funny. And it is Xiaomi people have heard off? Out of 20random street people, I can bet none have heard of Xiaomi. Btw... It's spelled TECNO, not Techno.

Phones / 10 Useful Android Apps by Chikote(m): 1:39pm On Nov 03, 2015
Are you new to Android and looking for applications (apps) to install? Or perhaps you’re not exactly new but would still love to have a list of apps that will serve you excellently. Here are ten (10) for you to start with:
1. Whatsapp: WhatsApp has become so universal that if you are not using it, you are missing out. It is the new SMS. But it is SMS on fleek. You can set up Groups e.g. for your family, inner clique, or even to provide tutorials to a class or to run an online seminar. Awesome!
2. Instagram: Want to get in on the new narcissism and show off your selfies and photos of the things that matter to you? Instagram is what the doctor ordered.
3. Flash share (Xender): If you share files a lot across different devices, Flash Share does it fastest. Bluetooth doesn’t even come close. Flash Share also lets you share your mobile internet access with other users in your group, so you can forget about WiFi hotspot too.
4. Evernote: Evernote is an awesome work tool that lets you create and edit text notes, snap and save photos, attach documents for easy access across devices and to share with others. You can set up reminders too. One of the best features of Evernote for me is the ability to save a webpage I am reading for later reference. And now, there’s a Work Chat feature that improves your team collaboration. You can stay logged into your account on multiple devices too.
5. Boom player: This music player gives you access to a huge library of music from Nigerian artistes. Want to stream or download? Your choice. The app also lets you access the lyrics to playing songs, as well as edit the meta details of each music file. Priceless. But Boom Player does more than just music. It supports video streaming/download as well. With TECNO Own The Stage karaoke show going on right now, those who miss it on DSTV don’t have to miss out totally. Watch it for free on BOOM player.
6. Pocket casts: This is a versatile podcast player. You can set it to auto-download podcasts while you sleep, you can speed up playback, and you can share your lists, among other cool features.
7. Google keep: If you do not like the business-like nature of Evernote, you should consider Keep. In is not as comprehensive, but the interface is breezier and certainly more colourful. With Keep, you can record voice notes, draw up your shopping list, write notes, and even add photos. You can set up location-based reminders so you get beeped when you are about driving through or past your favourite store or market.
8. Buffer: Buffer app allows you to schedule your tweets and Facebook updates for publishing at specified times later. It is great for people who work with social media. The app is free, but requires some payment for usage at some point.
9. Sunrise Calendar app: has been described by some as the first great calendar app for Android. It syncs with Google Calendar, Exchange, iCloud, Facebook, Evernote, Foursquare, TripIt, Todoist, Trello and more to make sure you’re always up to date with all the events happening in your life. If you want a very comprehensive calendar app for all your calendar/reminder services, this is it.
10. Endomondo: Are you team fitfam? Endomondo is a good app to help with your goal of keeping trim and fit.

You would have noticed that I left out twitter and Facebook. That is deliberate, as they usually come pre-installed on most Android smartphones. Have you discovered/installed any new apps recently? Do share five (5) of them with us. Perhaps you would also love to share your five (5) most used apps.
