gory24: I know someone that got an offer in August even before we got the mail about the second stage. I didnt really believe him because he said they offered him less than 160k for the Telecoms Engr role but he turned it down. |

Fifthcolumnist: How did the interview go? |

[quote author=Fifthcolumnist post=49112617] it's my first. The main challenge is I put in for procurement and I have no experience or knowledge in it. I wonder how good my chances are. [/quote Well, you would only know your chances after the interview. If you are being interviewed for Procurement, then it could be in relation to technical procurement where your knowledge of Mechanical Engr is applicable. Wishing you the best. |

kiete: Not yet. It seems they are handling Telecoms Engrs first before others. |

Chitox: Thanks guys. I was almost thinking you were kidnapped but it was just the usual Lagos struggle that caused the delay. We were anxious to hear what happened. |

Engr2016: I guess its because there are no updates. Those that got the mail last week are yet to hear from IHS. I wonder why the process is going this slowly. |

I also got the same mail today. Maybe the sender of the mail didnt add all the recipients yesterday. Congratulations to everyone that has received the mail. We are all one step closer to the prize 1 Like |

spbabt: I just got mine. Dear .... Thank you for attending the IHS Career Fair. Following the interview with us at the fair, you have been found suitable for the role interviewed for. However, please be advised that you will be subsequently invited for another round of interview with the hiring manager of the respective department. Thank you for your interest in IHS Towers. Regards, IHS HR Team 3 Likes |

nek12: When he told me the said amount, I was a bit doubtful because the looks of the staff I saw during the fair was definitely more than the amount he was quoting. I have been informed from a reliable source that those of us that have not yet been contacted may most likely still be contacted, so we should still be hopeful. I don't mean to spread panic amongst us. I just want to make us aware as things unfold. 1 Like |

Hello house. Sorry to bring this kind of news but someone that applied for Telecoms Engineering in Lagos told me that he has been contacted via telephone. He said some people got emails. He said the offer was less than 160k. I am still confused as to those of us not given any information about whether we are successful or not. |

papindee: The mail someone I know received was about being unsuccessful. On this thread, no one has mentioned receiving any mail for being successful. Let's just be hopeful. 3 Likes |

tremzy07: From what happened during the Lagos fair, there would probably be a briefing about the company (lasts about an hr or less) then a one-on-one chat with an IHS staff, either some in the Legal department or from another department since its happening outside Lagos. The chat would probably be less than 15 minutes. The staff you will speak with will ask you random questions relating to the position and based on your CV. I hope its worth it especially for those that have to travel to Kaduna. 1 Like |
