The Central Bank Of Nigeria has imposed fresh cash withdrawal limits on individuals and organisations, which takes effect from January 9, 2023.

Individuals will only be permitted to withdraw N100,000 per week (from ATMs, Point of Sale machines, or over the counter), according to a new memo to banks sent out on Tuesday and signed by the Director of Banking Supervision, Haruna B. Mustafa. Organizations will be permitted to access N500,000 per week.

Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA), the agency saddled with the mandate to regulate advertisement displays in Lagos State, has announced the release of its 2023 mobile advert stickers for branded vehicles in the state.

Managing Director of LASAA, Prince Adedamola Docemo, in a statement in Ikeja yesterday, stated that the new and improved mobile advert e-sticker will be in force effective from the 1st of January 2023, a development that will render the 2022 sticker invalid.

He reiterated that, just like last year, the agency has fully deviated from the yearly tradition of launching the stickers with pomp and would rather focus on improving the efficiency of the new process.

Ogun Labour Party has dismissed the Director General of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council, Doyin Okupe.

Okupe and 10 others were sacked for alleged non-financial membership status, high-handedness and financial recklessness according to Dailypost report.

The Chairman of the party in Ogun State, Michael Ashade, announced the party’s decision on Thursday, adding that the offences breached the constitution of the Labour Party.

Ashade said Okupe has ceased to be a Labour Party member for his “failure to meet the mandatory constitutional requirements to fulfill membership status.”

According to him, Okupe had failed to pay his membership dues since the last six months he joined the Party, saying he has therefore forfeited his membership of the Labour Party and he is no longer fit to act as the Director General of Obi’s campaign council.

He stated that the offenses of Okupe and and the other 10 are against Article 9(3) sub(iii) and Article 9(3)xi of the Labour Party constitution.


He accused Okupe of mismanaging the funds approved for the LP in Ogun to mobilize members for the rally held last week at Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

While notifying the LP National Chairman, Barr Julius Abure of their decision, they called on Obi to immediately appoint another DG for the PCC from the North.
