ekpotek: So you reckon it won’t be an issue considering this is a reapplication addressing previous refusal. I am just concerned they might wonder why I took off previously submitted document? |

ekpotek: Thank you for the advice Should I remove the current acc from the reapplication |

Endlessgrace: Many thanks, much appreciated. just confused though. The funds in your sister’s acc isn’t that significantly higher than what is in my sisters acc. She als supposed a business acc in excess of 1 million though the ECO mentioned their isn’t evidence of being sole signatory to the acc. As per the highlighted. I’m lost. You referring to fix deposit? A lot of people I know move extra funds into savings account . It’s norm as easily available Did you mail your original docs down or scanned across? |

@ekpoetek @justwise or anyone that have had a successful outcome. My sister will be resubmitting her app next week. I have made things more clearer on my letter as per the account used as evidence of funds. She will also get a letter from her bank to prove sole signatory to the business acc. I am wondering if I should remove my salary account all together since I am producing payslip and employer letter. Though bearing in mind it probably needs to go in to tally with what was submitted as part of the other application . Alternatively should I move some funds from savings to the current (salary acc) if ECO prefers current account. Have never had this sort of experience. Quite confused. |

ekpotek: Do you mean if I scan my bank statements down and they print them in A4 TLS will accept even though they are not original ? |
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by chomc: 1:56am On Jun 06, 2018 |
ekpotek: Any idea if TLS will accept bank account statements I have scanned down in colour? I plan to visit my bank to get updated statement and then scan it in colour to my sister to print. not sure if TLS wil accept it? Any ideas please. I am hoping she can resubmit next weeks. Don’t want to pay for DHL which is usually too expensive |

ekpotek: Many thanks for your response. Trust me ekpetek I have sponsored a few and even worse applications withut issues and I can be pretty detailed. My invitation letter clearly stated evidence of funds and my saving account was mentioned. As one. I only added my salary account to back up the payslips which I know is a requirement. So the ECO completely disregarding it unreal to me. It’s my account . It’s not a business account . The ECO didn’t even mention seeing it. Which makes me feel he/she didn’t see it. Aren’t they supposed to take into consideration all evidence of funds supplied? Why should they choose an account with little money against another that has high balance . I’m struggling The 750k income is her salary also they haven’t mentioned she received 1.2m annually from her husband or is that not an income. These was all clearly stated on the app and the supporting info section. . Her business makes way over that. She just doesn’t build her savings but alas I stated I am fully sponsoring. She didn’t include the sole signatory doc because she isn’t sponsoring herself . And mo money is being taken from the business account which has over 3 million at the time. I plan to reapply tonight and add a complaint . Can I use the same sets of docs. She only applied 3 weeks ago and all docs have either may 2o18 date or last week April. I plan to reprint my savings account and scan it down to her in colour. I am happy to ask her to obtain the letter of sole signatory from the bank . But again this isn’t a requirement as far as I am concerned. She isnt spending from that account. She only added it there to back up her business What’s your take on using the same set of docs. I hope to get her an appointment slot early next week . But will re apply tonight |

Seeking your opinion on this refusal cos I am just supper disappointed. I am a BC invited/stated I will be sponsoring my sister to the UK to be with my whilst I go through a CS section. my senior sister runs her own business (a primary and secondary school) doing well. She provided all docs. Lives with husban and grown children who all attend schoo in Nigeria. So I provided all necessary docs to support her application including saving account of over £16,000 and them my salary account From the refusal it seems to me the main reason is that I don’t have enough money to sponsor . It’s impossible. I provided my savings account with £16k bal. I have a very good job and warn quite well . But the letter only mentioned my salary account that I leave little money in. I am not mad to supply just that. It’s there to list tally up with my payslips. What do I do. I have successfully sponsored applications without this sort of issue. Could it be that they didn’t see the saving account I supplied and even stated on the invitation letter? Or could it be the TLS people didn’t scan it Should I reapply . I can fight this through my MP from here. But I need my sister her in by 26 July . Cos my Operation is then. Please let me know your thoughts . I can reapply. Just lavishing money over peoples mistakes. 1 Like

ekpotek: Thanks ekpotek. You made a good point. I do have I believe I have sufficient funds to sponsor myself. But the payslip issue has been quite worrying . If you know these so called big organisations in Nigeria, you will know it's extremely difficult to get them issue certain departments to issue you with a letter. In this case will be finance to produce a letter supporting my lack of payslips. I'd already spoken to them . Just don't know what to do. |

Greetings to you all. Please I need your advise. I work with globacom as a permanent staff and on just over 2m annual salary paid monthly. We get paid 70% at month end and then 30% begging of the following month pending your performance. The payslips gets delayed a lot. latest I have is december2016 My sister is a British Citizen and is inviting me to UK to for a visit her family and also meet her son who will be turning 2 during the period I'm being invited . It's been years since I last saw my sister and I really want to go visit them. But I dread visa applications. We have 2 options, either I sponsor myself or my sister sponsor's me. I have about 1.5m naira in my acc . Globacom will be giving me a letter of recommendation which will also confirm my period of leave. My main issue is the fact that The earliest payslip I have is December 16 . But I have my offer letter and can produce bank statements which shows monthly payments from globacom. Will this (offer letter which shows my salary etc, bank statement showing salary and recommendation letter from globacom be enough to probe my employment and income? Also can my sister sponsor me? Is that better? Or should I sponsor myself ? I was told my salary is too low and that it will be difficult to get a uk visa based on that . I'm being advised to ask my sister to go sponsor instead. Please my people , what's the best way forward? My sister has sufficient accommodation so I will be staying with them. And she has a very good job so can sponsor . I rather not apply than get a refusal cos I did the wrong thing. Please help. |
