Thank you sooooooooooo much for pointing out what's on my mind and one of the major reasons why I was reluctant to join the forum.

Our problem is that most of the time, people just read a post and fire on at the poster without really understanding the point. Don't know if that's done for fun or if its truly how they perceive the post cos i have a sister who's just like that. She argues over every simple observation made by someone else and MOSTLY ends up agreeing with you when she takes a second and always better look at what's been said.

The poster simply said the truth and most people are attacking him for that which i absolutely do not understand. If we want positive stories about our dearly beloved country, (its the only one we've got), then we should change and see them change their stories too.

Thanks to the poster and people like you for seeing the truth and saying it no matter how painful.

Pastor AIO, it is glaringly obvious that u are bent on labelling the Catholic Church and my dear, that, is totally your opinion but i still maintain, " Be VERY CAREFUL what you say". Calling a whole church a bad name cos some of the church members have wronged isn't acceptable but like i said, its all your opinion. Enjoy.

I also want to point out to you something i observed which i think u should look into. As a man of God, (if you truly are), you shouldn't resort to name calling or abuse like "Benedick/Maledick" which u used in describing the Pope. I think such is unbecoming of a man of God. There are better ways of addressing issues.

Hello, everyone, just joined and must confess the forum has been quite educative and
informative too. You guys do make my day with all the posts and i sure do have good doses of laughter with the hilarious comments posted.

Having said that, i was forced to join cos of some comments i read this morning on this topic. Am catholic and TOTALLY agree that the church was wrong to have covered some of these ATROCIOUS crimes committed by some priests. I also agree that whatever's necessary should be done to fish out the wrongdoers but i also TOTALLY disagree with some people who have chosen to use this opportunity to abuse the church.

I particularly want to refer to Pastor AIO, who called the Pope names and said "The Pope- the head of this paedophilic organisation" to be VERY careful with what he says to avoid God's wrath. I think we all should be careful with what we say or write about priests of God and by this i mean ALL annointed irrespective of their belifs ( Catholic, Pentecostal, Methodist etc). These men , whether we like them or not and no matter what they've done and what we feel about that still remain Christ's reps and we can't even tell if they have acknowledged their wrongdoings and have reconciled with God who is THE ULTIMATE JUDGE while we remain in our ignorance and cast aspersions on people who have gone past the their failings and are enjoying peace with God whose opinion matters most.[color=#770077][/color]
