EMBARRASSING MOMENT: Couldn't kill 100 bears with a single punch. Only 99 died instantly and the one that was left went to join the circus. (Very embarrassing)��

It was a sunny afternoon when the sun was in its hottest. Voke, after a long trek from the school finally got home and dashed straight to the kitchen to be sure that her hope wasn't in vain. She left the kitchen smiling after opening the pot of soup and the cooler where her mum normally keep the solid food from getting cold one after the other and few minutes after, Voke was back to the kitchen with a wrapper tied around her waist. She had dropped her bag and removed all that she was putting on save her undies. For the best way to enjoying a decent meal to her, means eating without your cloths on. This act according to her, will allow the sweat pass on freely across the body without any hindrance and nothing stopping her meal from her mouth, down to her throat then through to her stomach. "Only the certified foodie can understand this concept" she had always mentioned.

After dishing her meal, she carried it straight to the sitting room. Ignoring the dining table, she went straight to the floor. Served herself a cold water from the refrigerator, placed it beside her food, and sat on the floor.  Moving very closer to the food, She spread her legs widely open and placed the food in between the spaces within her laps. And Blowing away the sweat that has steamed up all over her body, she settled down to embark on a mission she has been so looking forward into.. Staring right into her face was a big bowl of fufu with black soup accompanied with a cup of chilled water. She indeed needed that water...For the sun had dealt well with her earlier.

Voke washed her hand, and with so much excitement, she began to devour the meal and from the speed in which her hand was moving to and fro from the plate to her mouth, one could easily tell that she had no intention of making the meal get cold before she finished with it or leaving any room for leftovers. And within minutes, the mountain heap of fufu had become a fallow ground...the bowl of fufu was empty, and Voke carried her plate of soup on her mouth sipping everything left of it the down to her throat while her tongue completed the assignment licking the remnant leaving the plate as clean as it was before usage.

Filled with so much satisfaction and a sense of fulfilment, she rubbed through her stomach that has suddenly metamorphosed into a pot belly, with the palm of her hand, and mumbled to herself "Well done Voke, you are indeed the true daughter of your father. Now you need to sleep". And sluggishly, she dragged herself to the kitchen with the plates, and went straight to her room. "After all, a good and satisfying meal under a hot sun would not be completed without a good sleep....... " Voke sighed as she wondered to the land of dreams......

The problem is most girls don't appreciate real, truthful and straight forward guys because it kind of makes them feel is that all the guy has to offer and makes them take such guys for granted, while the guys that lie and are players work on emotions if such women by fullfiling their unrealistic fantasy of wanting to be with a guy that has it all or seems to have it all so the players sweet mouth and live fake lives and say all sorts of things which the ladies fall for cheaply and since then have already turned down honest guys in most cases even insulted them for daring to want to date them, because they feel they don't measure up to them, so they will have no option than to date the lying players who will just use and dump them. All the players need to do is to tell lies, borrow things to impress, take them out even if it will make them go broke and lodge at an average or above average hotel or borrow a wealthy friend room or apartment and promise the ladies many things they cannot give. Conclusion ladies should be realistic in their expectations and do proper background checks on guys that woo them and they should work on themselves to be financially independent and remember not all that glitters is gold. May Our Creator rightly guide everyone seeking genuine relationship not to make mistakes on choosing the wrong person and being the wrong person.

The truth is, not every love will be reciprocated. Which is to say that it is noy everyone you profess love to that will respond to you positively. That's where emotional intelligence comes in. If you profess your love to someone and the person does not acknowledge, or appreciate it, then you have to move on.

You think so? So you're saying, love is dependent on money too?

Sometimes ago, one of my social media pages, I made a sample post "How will you feel if someone says the words I LOVE YOU to you" to determine what matters more to people between the words and the personality behind the words. The responses I got showed that although the words matters and can have effect, the personality behind the words matters more. This has always being my believe.

An undeniable fact is that words are powerful and can mar or make an individual. But more powerful is the person behind the word. Take for instance, your boss at work tells you that you're dumb and lazy. You feel bad. Then, you told your partner about it, and he or she confirms it again and tells you the same thing. You will feel more hurt that your partner calls you dumb and lazy because you hold your partner in high esteem than your boss. Your partner's words will have more effect on you than that of your boss at work.

In essence, it is factual to conclude that "the person behind a word will determine how much effect the word will have on you"

As individuals, it is pertinent to note that we have to be careful with our words. It is lack of wisdom to throw words casually. Never say something you don't mean. Never reduce someone's self-worth with your careless usage of words too. Say words that encourage, inspire, and edify.

Also, your whole personality can be measured with the words of your mouth. If you've spoken some words in the past that you weren't sincere and committed with, overtime, your words will stop carrying any weight or impact.. For instance, you've been telling someone you love him/her and there was no corresponding actions to back up your words; overtime, whenever you say such words again, it will lose credibility and would therefore have no effect on the person anymore. "Integrity start from you being able to stay loyal and committed to the words that comes out of your mouth". When you say something, live up to it!

Always remember, although words are powerful, the extent of the effect of the words depend largely on the person behind the words.
