Sports / Re: Arsenal Signs Alexandre Lacazette For Record Fee (Photos) by CIII: 8:25am On Jul 06, 2017
TheLoneCitizen:
It's no news that Arsenal FC have the most unstable football fan base. It's also no news that every pundit and fan out there have advised, or rather warned, Arsene Wenger to get a marquee signing after he signed a new contract.

Arsenal have remarkably been involved in every star out there, Ronaldinho to Messi to Higuain and the latest being Mbappe, according to their longterm manager. No doubt, disbelief had started brewing in the Gunnerside, after missing out on Eupen wonderkid, Henry Onyekuru. Another Disappointing Campaign?

Not until Rumours started flying that Lyon were receiving bids for Lacazzette from London, and it only became concrete when Lyon President confirmed this.

The reports reached a very strong probability of 5.0 yesterday with some sources stating he was having his medical. It became a reality when Arsenal started teasing fans on instagram earlier today. And now it's confirmed on their twitter account.

Alexander Lacazzette has signed for a reported €45M increasing to €53M plus add-ons, Arsenal almost never announce the transfer fee of their signings. Congratulations to the Emirates.

Signed: Wednesday, July 5th, 2017

He looks so much like Kanye West. Hope he plays well and not sing

Family / Re: Woman Smashes Her Husband's Car Windscreen After She Was Beaten By Him (Photos) by CIII: 12:50pm On Apr 09, 2017

Stephanie Peters was attacked by her husband last night after an argument ensued between them. The man wanted to assert his authority. He beat his wife so hard that blood came out of her eyes. The woman was so upset, she ran downstairs and used a stick to smash the windscreen of the man's car. The pictures confirm this.

The woman admitted that she wondered if she should stab him with a knife in self defence.

You won't understand... I have benefited so much from nairaland.

I love my family and nothing can change it. Nairaland is my second home. I confide in you guys because I only take the good advices and do away with the useless one that people like you give.

Today, I do say thank ma to my mother Inlaw and everybody around.

Unless you, you don't benefit and take the best advise as I do on this platform.

Thanks
Hmm bro. You're bringing family matters to public domain. You're seeking advice from TOTAL strangers. It would shock you to know that most of these "Senior Special Advisers" on NL are still living with their patents. Yet you, a married man, bringing issues to be resolved inside to them on NL. Chai, I'm just sorry for you.

Politics / Re: Another Electricity Tarrif Hike Despite Recession In Nigeria by CIII: 8:59am On Mar 28, 2017
Dear friend. It's good you're showing us the cost of electricity in other developed climes. But can you also tell us the per capita income of citizens of these countries? What is the standard of living there as compared to what we have here? They pay this much in these countries and get value for their money. Can we say the same of what these Discos are doing to us? In my area in Karu, Nasarawa State, power supply is in for two days and out for another two days. Yet I pay N5,000 monthly. Doesn't that smell of a large-scale rip off by these companies. If we must compare ourselves with other countries, then there should be a basic standard/parameter for doing so. Thanks my friend

At least something about credibility is at stake here. Let's wait and see. Fingers crossed
