In 1973, it was renamed as Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. Finally, Act No 58 of 1992 chartered the Institute. VISION ‘To be the foremost People Management Institute in Africa, respected across the World’. MISSION ‘To regulate the Practice of Human Resource Management in Nigeria and Promote Excellence in the acquisition and application of knowledge and skills by Practitioners, thereby contributing to sustainable National Development’.
