Under Jonathan,
Fuel was 160
Dollar was 216
Bag of rice was 12000.

Pa Soyinka and his likes were not pleased and they hit the street.

Now petrol is 690
Dollar is 1500
Bag of rice is 60K

When is pa soyinka and his fellows hitting the street?
All of a sudden our nobel peace winner and his likes can no longer talk.
Tribalism has destroyed Nigeria. Shame on you all.

These men and their likes deceived us for too long.
We did not know they are the biggest problems in Nigeria.

You were wrong. Under Jonathan fuel was #97, rice - #7,000, USD to Naira, 165 etc.

You are dumb. Just because you worked with somebody as a travel writer, you just saw another person hiring travel writers and just assumed that is the person. People connect with each other from other people's post. I never contacted you. The person you worked for is suppose to tell you that this is not his/her account instead both of you are there deceiving yourselves. Nonsense.

You want me to post more screenshots where your website manager confessed himself, asking me to delete the post since I've received the payment and that I don't expect you to confess online?

Wow, I didn't even know that this guy had posted me on Nairaland. someone that I was paying Monthly and also teaching him SEO for free. Well, with all that above screenshot he shared, I don't sound like a scammer and will never defraud my fellow Nigerian.

I only asked him to be patient until the month's end so I could pay him with other workers, but he was calling and Messaging me.

it's well, God knows if I want to Defruad him or not. and I'm not Superpack or whatever. My username is Royatechs. owner of Dailymigrant.com

@Comfort670 You don't take action without hearing from both sides. I'm currently working with 4 writers and I pay them peacefully without any complaints. But since he wants to spoil my name online God will judge.

Have a Great Day.

Stop pretending. You operate two Nairaland accounts. How did I then apply for your job on Nairaland? Your Royatechs Nairaland account doesn't have such thread created to hire Travel writers.

Superpack589:
I can't do this anymore abeg e. I just lost all the money I used to invest in this crypto market. It happened first week of December when Bitcoin pumped. I was busy shorting the market. My heart was always racing like it wanted to explode. I don't know how I managed to enter the industry at such a wrong time.

I don't just know what came over me. And the money was even a loan o. Now I have to pay for 12 months from my salary and the interest is high. cry

I see people mocking somebody who just died because of 2.5 million. That's not even up to how much I lost. My heart almost failed me too. Some of you here have become so used to losing huge money that's why it does not move you. I takes years to develop that kind of big heart and not everybody can survive that lifestyle.

Yesterday, I tearfully withdrew the remaining $120 from the $1500 I enthusiastically deposited into my account in early December. Now I have decided to focus on my writing career.

This was not what I planned o. When I took that loan, I thought I would pay everything in a month and still have enough money to splash around during Christmas. Chai. I had big expectations. But I lost everything in less than a month. What a bad luck.

Crypto is not the only thing that can make somebody rich jare. It looks easy but is very hard. If not greed, why will somebody put in a particular amount and be expecting 100% profit in a few minutes or hours. This greed particularly took over me and impatience made it worse. Sometimes I would make profit but I wanted the profit to increase and then I would watch it go down again until I am losing and will then go and cancel the trade to prevent further loss. I was such a phool. I watched hundreds of dollars getting swallowed continously. And I was trading very aggressive-moving assets like 1000Bonk, 1000Lunc and Matic which even made the loss faster with their rapid movements. I started to feel the market was particularly against me. I felt somebody was looking at me and just directing the nets to catch me. I started looking at everything with suspicion.

I was angry with everybody. I was angry with myself, my family, I was even angry with God for what I did to myself o. I just ask God for forgiveness. It affected my relationship and career so much. I almost resigned o because I thought I would be rich soon. That would have keeled me.

I wish we could rewind time so I can undo this financial hole I just put myself.

I still bear a grudge for this crypto market and I believe one day I will come back to take back all my money it has swallowed. Or not cry

This is what happens when you rip people off when they work for you. You're still owing me and I'm glad I called you out.

Romance / Re: What Can I Do About This by Comfort670: 4:10pm On Jan 01
Superpack589:

I use to work as a cleaner in a bank branch a few years ago. I resigned in 2021 after working there for 4 years. During my work there, I was the youngest person in the entire branch so everybody sends me on errands. Those 100, 50 naira change on top was what I was after because they help me alot. After buying the food for my colleagues, I would use their change to also buy for myself too. At a time it became too much as they almost turned my primary job into an errand boy. I had to fight and stop the errands and focus on my future.

At the time, I only had waec which I even failed. It was with that cleaning job that I was able to write Nabteb and then furthered my education. If a school is around you, it will be easier. After morning cleaning, you can just go to class and if nothing is going on in school, you can return to the office and it is important to also have somebody telling you what's going on in school. Before you know it, you will be done with school and have the result to apply for a better position in the bank if you wish to continue working there. You have to focus on your future.

Fast forward to the topic at hand. Most young guys who have worked as cleaners experience this, especially if you are the one running errands for everybody. The ladies especially will treat you very well, you will almost think they like you. Most of them just want to continue using you. And you may just be having that feeling because you feel she can help your life easily.

I think some can be genuine anyway but the challenge is that the gap is too much. Cleaner and banker. They will always look at you lesser except it is just genuine love and the lady loves you too. The chances of this ever working is very slim and the stress is just too much. Both of you will not be able to work in peace in the bank anymore. If she really really loves you, she will tell you to stop running errands for others and will also be commanding you sometimes because she is above you in the office and you will not be able to take this for long. The challenge is just too much.

There was a particular petite lady at the bank where I worked as a cleaner. This lady just liked me. I almost felt she wanted me to be screwing her. She would come to the cleaner's office where I use to sit down most of the time (if there's nothing to do) and just rest her head on my shoulder. My preek go just stand. She does not do this to any other person in the bank. She was so close to me and just like touching me every time. The connection was very visible that my fellow cleaners were even telling me to advance that she was giving me green light. I was just too scared and afraid of doing it abeg. In my own case, I believe I would have been able to nack this lady if I was a bad boy.

Even apart from that particular lady, there were plenty of others in the bank who were just too nice to me that I had feelings for. Many, fine fine girls o. But I'd rather go and stand outside and toast one customer or student (because the bank was close to a big polytechnic) than toast a staff.

The problem is that you are bored. It happened to me too. So after morning cleaning, I would just go upstairs and start pressing my phone.
I loved writing so much and so at a time, I started applying for writing jobs on this nairaland. When I got a job, I would use my free time to do it and that filled up the gap so I was no longer bored because it was like doing two jobs at the same time. I eventually resigned and started writing full time. Now I earn in a month what some of those my former colleagues earn in 6 - 7 months. No jokes.

For now, what you should be focused on is how to build yourself up and get yourself a better future. On the other hand, you will definitely leave there one day so if you want to have some adventures and be able to tell those funny stories later, you can try asking her out. The world will not end. Just do it casually and don't count on her saying yes. She might say no and you move on with your life. Whatever happens from there, you can face it. You are a strong man.

I wish you good luck bro.

And while some people struggle to build their selves and career, you rip them off. They work for you and you refuse to pay them.

One thing I have learnt about this crypto market is that it is far more heartbreaking to get left behind than to be in a losing trade or lose a trade. Also it is a thrilling adventure to just watch your money go up and down with the tide and then eventually pump (or nose dive lol). This has made me give up day trading and I'm glad my patience is gradually increasing to be able to watch the market even when I'm in a losing position. I can't tell you how many times I have ended a losing position and then woke up to see that the asset has pumped. At that moment, I just say to myself - "If only I had just a little more patience".

But I still wonder how people manage to hold positions for months or even years anyway. That ability definitely takes some years to master. Kudos to all the veterans in the house.

Meanwhile 1000Bonk is pumping hard. That stupid coin that once wrecked me. Pepper body coin. I have vowed that I will get rich with that coin.

You can't get rich ripping people of their sweats like you do.

You guys should check out what I mean here. Superpack589 is a fraudster.

You commented on the job post two days ago on December 29 and you're claiming you've worked with me for 28 days. Haha. Hopeless scammer. I feel sorry for your life.

the money for solar is too much. I already have solar, and I'm switching off my light now there is rain, I hardly have 5 hours from my solar, no light to charge, no sun either
Even without sunlight, your solar system should charge. Mine will even charge full from less than 20% with no sunlight in a day and I'll even power my laptop. Consider adding one more solar panel.

Nobody is talking about the big Elephant in the room, which is lack of electricity. This week I've spent 58,000 naira on fuel for my generator for work, that is full tank for alot of cars every week, and the car owners are complaining, what about us that need Electricity to work.

I barely get 6 hours of electricity, I tried buying solar, but the conditions are too much, turn off this, turn this on, don't use this bulb. Mehn, plus I can't turn on AC while working.

Since my work is from home I decided to buy a laptop worth 1million here on Nairaland (thanks to Nairaland) just to ease my work, atleat I get 4 hours of break in severe heated room with my laptop.

How else can someone survive in this country with this low electricity, is there any state that is better? Or is it a must I have to travel to another African country just to get simple electricity to work. My generator just went off and my fuel gone, that why I came here to rant. I'm going to buy feul at 615 naira per litre cry

You'll still have to buy a solar system. I use one too and I work from home. It powers everythin, TV, Washing machine, blender, etc. Just budget 600k+. Its like a lifetime investment cos they r durable.

You have never stepped out of Nigeria. That 40 dollars will only barb your hair abroad. At most, two meals in a cheap restaurant where they will give you fries and one small chicken.
No one is saying Nigeria is perfect, comparing dollar to naira at face value is nonsense

Exactly what I wanted to say.. Haircut in Atlanta is more than 50k in Naira. To pump your car's tyre, about the same price too, whereas these costs less than 1k in Nigeria.
