I have been studying in europe for a while now and i see alot of our nigerian men and women from all ethnic groups pursuing oyibos and immigrants who have their permanent residence so they could get their own permanent status too after a while. It defers in different countries in europe, our people are cohabitating with white ladies as registered partners and married partners so as to get the permanent residence (PR) in europe. How did u get your own, was it easy or hard? what are the BEST advice u can give 2 those who r willing to get their own PR too, based on ur experience. please detailed and non abusive contributions would be appreciated.

These countries are making it hard on most immigrants who have good intentions 4 instance after studies to get a good jobs, live and work legally, THAT IS D TRUTH. I took time to talk to most of the international students i know around what they keep saying is that situation has not improved at home so they would prefer to stay back, does this really make sense? Even in the UK if you are lucky to get a Tier 1 based work permit for 3 years you still have to pack ur bags and baggages and leave soon if you are not able to switch and also meet up with the huge financial requirement. PLEASE if you are lucky to scale through the immigration hurdles in the US maybe after studies tru work, family ties or whatever means to stabilize your stay just thank God and relax instead of pointing accusing fingers at those who are still handicapped. MANY know but they would definitely deny that MANY legal immigrants today who came to the US legally but had to remain in the system did alot of illegal runs ( bogus marriage and stuffs) in order 2 stabilize at the expense of their partners, i read someones post here on NL that he would rather remain illegal instead of doing that 2 a human like him/her, that sounds confusing!!! Please i would so much appreciate your opinion on this matter that has been bordering my mind for a while now. On the 1st day of resumption for studies in my present school, i saw this girl coming so i approached her and introduced myself, i asked her what program she's taking and fortunately for me she is also a new student from Ghana who just arrived on scholarship to take the program. She is nice looking girl, intelligent, charming and communicates well. Since the 1st day she told how she feels so lonely in the accomodation she was allocated to, since the housemates students seems not to be around most times. From that day i took out around town to the shops where she bought stuffs for herself, we went to the grocery together where she bought foodstuffs for herself, visited fast food joints together while taking her alot of pictures, cus she seems to be interested in it!!! after a week i spoke to her while we were in a fast food joint how i wish i could go out with her as in starting a relationship, cus i know many guys are willing to approach her but she seemed to be worried about the topic and clearly told me that she has a boyfriend which is far away from where we are schooling together now. Ever since then things had changed, she often comes to me to inform me that she is going out to buy stuffs just 4 me to follow her about but after many more attempts to convince her of starting a relationship without any thing coming out i decided not to go again most times.Even though i showed her alot of affection and told her my feelings as a man, she still tells me that she doesnt love me and doesnt av any feeling 4 me. I decided to give her the cold shoulder unexpectedly for like 2 weeks, then i realised that whenever i ignore her and talk smoothly with other girls in d class she seems to feel bad and curious to know what is going on. But really i am not doing this to make her jealous but i realised that this girls just like me as a person. After ignoring her 4 a while she sent me a tagged me on a note on facebook saying that she knows she is not perfect but understanding is what makes a relationship work. The following day i spoke to her she in class she seemed gentle and cool that day, i even went home with her and she made me something 2 eat. I dont understand after a while she seems 2 start doing same thing again spending time with other guys in my class so i just got tired. When we settled again i decided 2 go with her to place and when i was about to leave i kissed her on the arm to know feeling so she became so annoyed and told me not to talk 2 her in class gain. i tried to call her and say sorry but she ignored, then i decided 2 ignore and later realised that she started displaying just 4 me to come to her but i still stand my ground up till now. we see in class everyday but i dont relate with her and i know she really feels bad about it, many people evn wonder what is happening cus they thought we are going out, but i am just speechless i dont know what to say i dont know what to do anymore, i know she wants my attention again, pls help me out on this matter cus i am confused and i dont know what to do.

Fellow nairalanders, is there anybody who has a clue, i met this girl in thesame university, she is on scholarship, smart, nice looking, enlightened and communicates well in English. Being a new student too, i took chance 2 approach her b4 other guys, 4lowed her around time when shes buying stuffs 4 herself and took her alot of pictures and spent almost all the days with her. We started moving around town while everybody kept wondering if we are going out. After a week i spoke with her as in starting a relationship, she told me she has a boyfriend who is very far away from her, and seems 2 be very annoyed when i tell her about the feelings i av her. Ever since then she changed her attitude towards, sometimes smile, sometimes frown and finds fault in my conversations while she smiles with other guys that comes around her and flow with them in a friendly way. I tried to ignore her many times but she acts as if it doesnt bother her. anytime we meet in class, she laughs, smiles and plays with other people around just as a show off. Sometimes when we go out she talks about how she went out with my other coursemates to buy stuffs for herself and how they invites her for parties and how she spent alot of time calling her boyfriend. She even told m about how a known guy who wanted her wanted her told her to come 2 his house to plait his hair. This really seems confusing to me cause whenever i ignore i could read from her face and actions that she isnt happy about it and but she pretends 2 b ok, but if i come around her and tell her how much i love her and feel inside she still insist that she doesnt love me and she cant av any feeling 4 me, pls i really need a clue on what 2 do, its good to av peace of mind, thanks

Of course english is not the first language in the nordic countries but from xperience they still communicate well in english more than other part of europe, dat is y they offer education in English!!!asshole

There are 2 sides to a coin this is a big dilemma that confronts many ppl abroad. But as regards the issue of whether to marry in europe or naija, the truth is that 99.9% of  european girls have this mentality of being equal with their husbands based on law and other rights. that's just the way things are in d western world so u gat to take it or leave it. For instance in europe there are men who are full house husbands, cleaning d house , caring 4 d kids , cooking in the kitchen, , why ur wife goes to work and pays d bill, the relationship in europe is 50-50 nothing like this husband superiority thing the way it is in africa, ur wife has her full right to decide whatever pleases her and if u dont agree with it divorce sets in, u know now, to divorce is not a new thing in d western world and most times husband  loose out alot after legal actions are taken.

Secondly most european girls hardly allows u  to settle back home after marriage cus of the economic situation in the country. Even when you are old this is still a big issue to them. i have seen several cases of naija men who were forced to come back and desperate to marry someone else at home.

But in naija  most wives still endures and at least give you some respect being the head. This is our culture if we are to b candid with ourselves. The truth is that most naija men want their own opinion to stand in their homes even if the wife seems not to agree with their point. Culture is very important in d issue of marriage, but upon all i would advice you to seek the face of God cus na him know road pass   , me just dey talk my own based on my experience,

you dont need any three years of work experience to undergo masters program in finland.
But also it depends on the masters program you are applying for, maybe a work experience
might be an added advantage or application requirement for the program. Then concerning money issues i guess it 600 euros per month (for 2 yrs) should be enough to cover your  living expenses. But mind u just like what we have been saying here,you must have enough money to take care of yourself and not  only sorting money for statement of account sake,
