Education / Re: Reasons Why You Need To Study In Ukraine by corjay: 2:17pm On Dec 01, 2020
Ukraine is very safe and there are so many Nigerians and other nationals living, working and studying there. The society is very civil and developed. Studied and working there presently. Ukraine is safer than most African countries.
Kaylet:
Just for enquiry sake, the latest news coming from places like Ukraine and the likes against Nigerians is not palatable.

And the government there is doing nothing over it, I doubt if there's human activists there.

Abike Dabiri said they're going to some thing about it but I'm not certain if something has been done.

Before pushing your brothers there, is the place safe for Nigerians?

Right, But will the one year as head of contact center guarantee a positive vetassess assessment considering the fact that one needs about 5 years experience to get about 10 points on work experience? Will other years be considered as well?
tunlex01:

Okay. Your head of contact center role can still pass but a relationship manager cannot be a CSM cos you don't develop policies to improve service. It goes beyond customer satisfaction. The CSM role is typically an head office customer experience manager role not a branch role.

Have worked as Head Contact Center for one year now and still counting . RM is Customer Relationship Manager. part of the job role is making sure customers are satisfied with services and if there are issues brought up by them concerning products or services, we resolve immediately and if we cant we escalate. Also making sure your subordinates are in line with this customer satisfaction policy
tunlex01:

How long have you been head of contact center?
You can't be a Relationship manager or branch manager and assess as a CSM. They are not related.

Thanks Bellong. You have always been helpful here.
bellong:
@Corjay,

You have nothing to worry worry about. You will be alright.

Your worry should be aligning your job responsibilities with ANZSCO descriptions for customer service manager.

Regards.

Please Bellong I need your candid advice. Also Tunlex01 I need you to wade in on this because I think you assessed through Vetassess. I have read the threads extensively and I still worry.
I have a bachelors degree in Law and a Post Graduate Certificate in Business administration. I have worked in the banking sector for 11 years. as an Executive Assistant, HR rep, Business Development Manager,Relationship Manager and presently Head Contact Center. I have thoroughly looked at the job role of a Customer Service Manager(After Bellong advised i look at it) and found out most of the tasks there, I performed as BDM and RM. Also all the job roles I am doing now as the Head Contact Center.

Now my worry is my degree which is Law and a 5 year program, I read that if I don't have a highly relevant qualification I must give up about 3 years of my work experience to Vetassess. That's not a problem too, but I also read for you to have a positive assessment from Vetassess, you must have a highly relevant qualification and work experience in your nominated occupation. Somewhere on this thread I read that Vetassess is not giving positive assessment if you don't have a highly relevant qualification and work experience on a nominated occupation and this scares me.

Having analyzed Vetassess' case scenarios on their website, especially the case of a Computer Analyst, who worked as a Store Manager and later became a Restaurant Manager and nominated the occupation ''Restaurant Manager'', I know I have a chance but what I read on this thread about people's assessment experiences worry me

Please guys I need you to critically analyze this for me before I go in for assessment. I am willing to take the risk. Its better than not trying at all. Other experienced guyz can also contribute. Thanks

Hey Guys, Please Tier what University is Delta State University? I have a law degree from there and its a 5 year course.

I hope with that am gonna get my full 15 points for Educational qualifications.

I read here that Nigerian Unis are categorized into Tiers. and if your Uni is a tier 2, your 4 year bachelor degree could be downgraded to an advanced

diploma. Don't know how true that is, so please guys I need your clarifications. Thanks.

@bellong
Thank you for your kind input
bellong:
@corjay,

Both of you can still be primary applicant. You can both submit EOI and whoever gets the invitation first becomes the principal applicant.

That being said, have you checked the conditions for nomination from Victoria or New South Wales? Other option is customer service manager for your occupation.

Your husband can go through the RPL route (recognition of prior learning) for ACS assessment.

Hey Guyz, Please can the Gurus examine my profile and see if I have a chance of getting a positive assessment with VETASSESS? And also can I get some advice on the best visa category to apply for. I intend being the principal applicant due to my age compared to that of my spouse. My nominated occupation is Financial investment Adviser because the job roles are closely related to what I have been doing in the bank for years but I am worried about my degree which is not related to my job.
Also do you advice my spouse goes for skill assessment with ACS to see if we can get more points or just stick with his IELTS for more points?

Age 37
Occupation: Investment Banker and have been working since 2009.
have worked as an Executive assistant 1 year, HR rep 1 year, retail sales consultant/Business development manager 8 years, Relationship manager 1 year and present
BSc Law.
PGC Business Administration

Spouse: Age 41
Occupation: Network Adminstrator

work experience before qualification 7 years.
