i just don't get it. can't you gaynner runts emulate the very few brilliant heads in your clan? you and hnic(a well-known hilly-billy) telling us nasri is a better player than nani. on which planet? nani has been nothing short of breath-taking this season. he has about 11 assists and 4 goals in the league and you have the gall to mention nasri? then i laughed when i saw your chamakh better than berbatov rant? no wonder people say arsenal fans are deluded.cheesy don't get angry when people call you a retardo! you brought the shame upon yourself.

Injuries is a global thing. Every team gets their own share. If u say chelsea's suffered, how about arsenal's Vermalean/Rvp, and when sunderland hammered Chelsea, Bent was injured too. Gyan,a new signin, put the match beyond them. I think the gap is being bridged better this term. Thats the only reason manu is leading the table with only 2 points. They havent really been injury struck, yet there lead on the table isnt as comfortable as u'ld expect

cou-gar:

united have a game in hand. they should be leading by 5 points.

dipo2much:

Is that game not at stamford bridge? Against a wounded chelsea team. With terry, lampard back- those 5 points will be hardearned

can you now see how clueless you are that you didn't even know united's game-in-hand was against blackpool? dayokanu is very correct when he says the average gaynner is a buffoon.

The above-highlighted is why discussing anything with an Arsenl fan is bad generally for your health.
You're the second  with a lop-sided brain who is saying Arsenal will finish above United without telling me why or how.
I don't have words for you.It appears you must be one of the most ignorant people walking the face of the earth. There are Arsenal fans with the generally low intelligence level, but you have to be at the base of that category.
If you can't decode what I said,it doesn't mean I don't know what I'm saying. It could in all probability mean that you've refused to reboot your sour custard brains so as to clear the BRAIN_DEFAULT=STU.PID setting.
Because the way I see it,ignorance is the next thing when one thinks of most Arsenal fans,as typified by you.

you are simply wasting your time engaging dipo2much in a discourse. he doesn't even understand how the league works. the gay didn't even know united have a game-in-hand. when he was corrected, he thought the game-in-hand is against chelsea next week. i doubt he knows what makes a league champion. if you ask him, i am sure he would say the team with the highest possession percentage wins the league. dipo's brain power is marginally lower than that of a slug.

Anywas no point going back and forth. What I wait to see is if the trend will continue next year. I see the bottom clubs dropping more points but if City and Spurs can attract quality players in January, I expect them to contend for the top four position.

if city lose tevez in january, they won't make europe next season. tottenham have convinced me beyond any reasonable doubt that they are top contenders. chelsea were lucky last night van der vaart was missing.

proudly9ja:

Arsene says he won't be buying a new player in January. I hope he changes his mind. Even if we have to loan a player, please we need a proper CB now that we ain't sure when TV will be back. I think we also need someone to play on the left when Arshavin has his off day.

the squad cap has screwed premier league managers. arsenal/chelsea/man utd will not be buying anyone in january. i don't think arsenal need any new player to be honest apart from signing a good goalie since almunia will definitely leave. the defence should be okay with vermaelen getting back. the midfield is good, nasri has done well for himself. the attack is also solid - bendtner, chamakh, van persie and vela. the personnel is alright, it's the tactical aspect and their mentality that need to change.

proudly9ja:

But these fixtures you listed consist of matches between last weekend and next 2/3 weeks. How about the beginning of the season till now? How have Chelsea lost 4 matches, ManUnited drawn 7 in 16 games?

the start of the season favoured chelsea and they won 5 games on the spin. united and arsenal haven't been favoured with that luck still. chelsea lost 4 matches because they lost key players when it mattered most. united drawing 7 in 16 games is an improvement. if you look at the fixtures last season, united lost emphatically at everton and fulham. having to play johnny evans/john o'shea in the defence cost united many points as well but i think saf now knows his best line-up in the defence. rafael should be ahead of neville, oshea, brown and co. rafael did a professional job on nasri tonight.

dayokanu:

Shut your stinking gob!!!

Is Man Utd or Chelsea half a decade trophyless? Or why are you mentioning them with your Godforsaken club?

Deluded people, Before the end of this week, Someone would still ention Assanal in the same sentence with Barcelona.

Its even an insult to compare then to Ranchers Bees

dayo, why are you so angry with arsene? did you take a punt on the arses winning tonight? the team is currently work-in-progress. in 5 years time, wenger will win the league. cheesy

I dont think its the fixtures. We are lucky Chelsea and United have also been poor. Though I agree by second half of the season there'l be a natural separation in the top teams. I only hope we don't get sifted out of things.

it's the fixtures. it has been tough for the top four teams with the way the difficulty is spread evenly. we play arsenal today, chelsea next week. for chelsea, tottenham yesterday, man utd next week.  arsenal played united today and will play chelsea again in a fortnight. these aren't easy fixtures by any means. by feb/march, things will get better and one of arsenal/man utd will get the kind of fixtures chelsea got at the start that got them 15 easy points in 5 games.

Its been a horrible EPL season for the top teams though. Can't believe we've lost 5 games already and we are still 2nd on the table. Last season, same stage with 4 games lost and we were already out of the title race

it's the nature of the fixtures. by march, the boys shall be separated from the men.

arsenal were more scared. we could not do the usual counter-attack because arsenal defenders didn't go for it even at the death. we are more suited at the emirates though cos arsenal must come out and try to win. that is when the park, nani, rooney combination works best. see you in 2011.

Valencia probably wont be ready until February . . . and knowing Fergie I dont think he will rush him back.

It's a chance for Obertan to step up and Giggsy can still do it (maybe not in the big games).
We should be able to cope.

Did you see Ando today? Geeeeez!!!

anderson has been terrific in the last 5 games or so. he is getting back to his groove. he completely owned the midfield in the first half and should have scored but sczewe@#$%^&^%$ny made himself big n saved anderson's effort.

we need the same scoreline against chelsea then we can party! sir alex confirmed js park will miss 7 games in dec/jan because of the asian cup. wish valencia or obertan can step up and plug that left side of the midfield. we are a bit short in that area of the pitch.

Dunno if it was the pitch or not, but possession retention in midfield was atrocious for both teams.

both teams were anxious. there was nothing wrong with the pitch. the groundsmen usually wet the pitch so the ball can zip. apart from that, pitch was perfect. if berbatov was there today, he would have made the difference. the way walcott skied his volley and the way rooney did an "asamoah gyan" is an evidence of their poor techniques.

Mr_TA:

It was a very good win. Im very happy with the result but there were a few poor performances there. Carrick had a shocking 2nd half. He was really bad in the 2nd half I was just smh. Fletcher was poor for most of the game especially with his use of the ball.
Nani was so wasteful it was quite upsetting and Rooney was average at best.  Very happy with the Defense, Anderson and Park.

carrick and fletcher were woeful. fletcher has been shyte this season. his head seems to be buried elsewhere. with carrick, he doesn't influence the game unless other midfield players are playing really well. anderson was excellent but he needs to work on his fitness - he tires out too soon. nani did well but not great. it's not easy aiming at one player in the box. the formation made nani wasteful.

In his pocket? WHat an understatement.

He had clichy licking his ball throughout.

Arsenal has lost the last 10 games to man Utd and Chelsea, is it sensible to still refer to Arsenal as a title rival?

but i think they know how to pummel lower teams than man utd and chelsea and those games against smaller teams get more points than the grandslam games.

Thank goodness Rooney missed that penalty, if not the game would've been overshadowed again by refereeing decisions.

Now we hope for a Chelski revival.  grin

was evra right after his rant? in all seriousness, arsenal must learn to win games like this one. wenger knew how united would set up for this. he should have had a plan b for this game if plan a goes beserk. fletcher was rubbish. anderson is back and i just love it when nani oppresses clichy.

Good game lads, but not enough creation on display today.

Can't really say we deserved to get much out of this game - With Nani's miss, Rooney's penalty and the our lack of creativity, it could have been worse.

In the final analysis, results on Sunday meant we could 'afford' to lose today and still remain very much in the race for the title.

Take a bow Szceszny. . . . you did yourself proud tonight.

Looking forward, RVP and Cesc getting through the game without knocks will do us good going forward.

The midfield is where they are getting at us. Man U cannot keep this up for 90mins, something will happen soon.  Wenger will make adjustment in second half in my opinion.

the midfield of anderson, carrick and fletcher will run all night and i have not even mentioned park, rooney and rafael. there's a reason this formation always burns arsenal. there's too much energy in it and they never allow arsenal to find their rhythm.

Neuer cant go anywhere but Bayern.

He is german number 1.

He is Ullis personal project.

I personally think he is the best keeper in Europe right now.

He is a great shotstopper, Very big and intimidating just like Kahn.

He has one more year on his contract

I thing, His ball distribution is the best in Europe, reminds me of Abondanzieri in his Boca Junior days. Neuer creates goals from goal kicks

He spots attackers and release them early Remember his punt towards Klose at the world cup, Last saturday he released raul for the first goal

i don't think so, mate! there are several others on his level and there are few better than him.
