rubbish analysis. messi has better team-mates in xavi, iniesta and david villa. ronaldo had alonso, ozil and benzema as team-mates. obviously, barca has a more balanced side than real madrid and jose is just settling. it's unfair to determine the best player based on a game of 90 mins. judge the 2 clubs after the season concludes in may.

good observation. i thought ozil was found out tonight just like he was found out when busquets tamed him at the mundial. ozil, khedira and di maria sussed things up for real madrid. ronaldo was isolated. if messi and ronaldo were interchanged, messi in a madrid shirt, and ronaldo in a barcelona shirt, the result would have been the same. to be fair, real madrid had many new players just settling into the team and are not that experienced to handle a high octane game like tonight but ozil was so poor. khedira offered nothing, benzema and di maria were also non-existent.
