obailala: do you know how many nigerians doing this ish every week? of course, nigerians are part of the tax increase in the uk. |

jay bee: don't start with her. she's a fan of nairaland. i heard she's been talking about nairaland in one of her latest movies. it seems being a nairaland member is another level in nigeria. if she's british, i don't see any reason why she needs to have her children in the uk. she can have them anywhere and her kids will still be an automatic citizen of the united kingdom. i am guessing she just want to have them here because of the quality of the health care system unlike nigeria where the birth rate is a bit dodgy. |

Mr_TA: well, football is a contact sports. i feel sorry for holden and evans had no right going so hard like that. however, evans' tackle wasn't malicious. he got the ball but it was his follow through that ruined holden's leg. |
Celebrities / Re: ''My Kids Will All Have British Citizenship'' –Oge Okoye by Cougar2: 1:01pm On Mar 21, 2011 |
blink182: it simply means she's enjoying the benefits of free health care system without paying any tax towards it. she is in nigeria where she gets paid without taxes and yet she will come down here to have her kids free of charge. in other words, she's living off the taxes of jaybee and ceasyc! |

where is mumuface to talk us through arsene's youth policy that was bound to rule the world this season? united have declined and arsenal are on the rise and blah reh blah. . . . .if there's anyone looking for the word "delusion". . . . .don't waste your time checking your dictionary. just look straight into mumuface's eyes. |

ritchboy: the team arsenal played against bolton in 2008. . . . . Almunia, Toure, Senderos (Walcott 59), Gallas, Clichy, Hleb, Flamini, Fabregas, Diaby, Bendtner (Adebayor 60), Van Persie (Justin Hoyte 90). as at then, toure and gallas were your first choice centre-backs. diaby saw red but it didn't really dent arsenal's defence because flamini sat in front of his defence and kept things tidy. tonight, united had no vidic and rio. . . . .their 4th choice defender(johnny evans) got sent off leaving carrick and giggs in the midfield against a more improved bolton side we could not beat at reebok stadium. anyone comparing this new bolton to the one under megson in 2008 needs a brain surgeon.
united are superior to bolton but united did not play it's strongest team by any means. even the commentators noted bolton wouldn't have a better chance of beating united if they didn't win today. no vidic and rio was a blow. to get johnny sent off again was a bigger blow. yet, the players motored on and got the vital 3 points needed and you want us not to celebrate? should we start weeping for arsenal then? |

dayokanu: arsenal will still win the league. they have the easiest run-in on paper. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 7:41pm On Mar 19, 2011 |
coded guy: that's the difference between man utd and the rest of the league. down to 10 men, the other teams would play it safe and play for 0-0. not ferguson! he gambles. . . . .and at the end of the season, some twunts would say united didn't deserve the title or they have not played well. carrick became carrenbauer in the heart of the defence. the urgency tripled. . . .waves of attack after attack. this is why i love this club. |

ritchboy: you need to see chicharito live to appreciate his movements. he is not static. i saw this guy twice last year and the way he works the lines is just incredible. berbatov is static. chicharito works the lines so well. he's in, he's out, he's in, he's out. timing his run to perfection to make sure he is not caught offside. chicharito is the king of centre-forward movement in the premier league. van nistelrooy was also a beast when he was here - but my goodness, chicharito is a gem when it comes to that too. his movements are just silks. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 7:03pm On Mar 19, 2011 |
ritchboy: lucky to be in the right place at the right time. every centre forward worth his onions would be in that position. fabio was also lurking to do the tap-in. unlike arsenal fans, we don't gloat over such. we only admire silks!!! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 6:51pm On Mar 19, 2011 |
Mr_TA: giggs has always been a liability. i am shocked you are just noticing. his pass completion is nothing to write home about but he's always fortunate to initiate the move leading to a goal or providing a direct assist. the moment he does that, united fans forget the shower of shyte he has displayed throughout the game. if we want to move past chelsea in europe, i reckon we send giggs to japan to help the victims of nuclear outbreak. as for berba's selection. it's a wonderful problem. fergie started hernandez today because he guessed bolton would go for it and attack us. hernadez is good against teams who don't park the bus. such teams leave plenty of space behind them(a space hernandez loves to exploit). it was the right decision to start chicharito in that regard because bolton did have a go in the first half. after the break, when bolton realized johnny evans was having the game of his life, they started defending deep(perhaps playing for a draw). . . . .thus nullifying the threat of hernandez. when teams sit deep like that, berbatov is the key to unlock packed defences, a moment of brilliance is all he needs to unlock such defence. . . .although, he didn't play particularly well today as he squandered some chances he would have buried when he still had some match sharpness. however, he made one of the chances count and that was the most important thing. 3 points secured! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 6:32pm On Mar 19, 2011 |
vinisky: who else but chris smalling. the best young defender in the country. he looked like he's been playing for us for ages. if we are lucky, we have a clone of rio ferdinand in smalling. he will grow here - i have been utterly impressed with the lad. against chelsea. . . .we should go 4-3-3. nani-rooney-valencia. anderson, fletcher and carrick in the midfield and the normal back four(rafael-smalling-vidic-evra). i am convinced this team won't let us down @ the bridge. scholes and giggs should take a vacation to libya. chamotex: i hope he doesn't travel. fergie should hide his passport. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 6:20pm On Mar 19, 2011 |
vinisky: west brom overachieved with that 2-goal lead. be thankful they were able to derail arsenal a little bit. the 2 points arsenal dropped today provide us a cushion. there's the international break and by the time football resumes in 2 weeks, we should have vidic, fletcher, js park, anderson and rafael back. things are looking good from here. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 6:16pm On Mar 19, 2011 |
chamotex: seems your man(valencia) has been doing some training on how to operate from the left. he was superb today when he switched flanks with nani. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 6:07pm On Mar 19, 2011 |
Mr_TA: in all fairness, that was a stone-wall red card. it's similar to the gerrard one on carrick in the fa cup tie in january. no complaints at all. evans was a bit silly. holden had already committed himself. evans didn't need to go to ground at all. stand your ground and hope nothing develoips from the move. on a day evans had his best performance in a united shirt, he had to be sent off. nani was a beast when he moved to the right. valencia cutting in from the left also added some zip to our play at the death. our 10 men even played better than our 11 men. nani became a different player towards the end. he stopped crossing and started running with the ball and was licking shots from distance. gladly, bolton's goalie fumbled one of his shots and dimitar was there to tap in a rebound. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by Cougar2: 5:26pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
dayokanu: you just mentioned robben, gomez, ribery and robben. . . . . .then you had to spoil it by mentioning bendtner. bayern fans were pissed because they expected so much more from robben, gomez, etc. i don't think any arsenal was really expecting bendtner to finish off his chance. tell you what, if bendtner had scored from that chance, arsenal would still have conceded another one at the death. koscielny and his goalie would have bottled it again to allow messi score a winner. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by Cougar2: 4:58pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
bayern should blame themselves for what happened in the midweek. if the first half score had read 6-1, leonardo wouldn't have had any complaints at all. bayern were so profligate in front of goal and it came back to bite them in the end. mario gomez should take another look at himself and ask if he justifies the whole hype about him. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 4:54pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
(Eastbay): it's frustrating. a fit rio ferdinand = titles. he knows this, everyone knows this. he should take injections to his calf and play. pain-killers administered before the match, at half time and at the end of the match should see rio through. besides, we are lucky we are not doing any long travelling in the next round. london trip from manchester will not aggravate rio's notorious back injury so he should man up and bail us out. what is fergie doing in cheltenham? he should be preparing his team for tomorrow's tie and this old man is betting on horses, na wa o! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 1:19pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
ray wilkins is a pathetic old sod. he was just mis-yearning like he normally does. chelsea will not beat arsenal over two legs. never mind man utd. one thing i know about united is we are immortal in europe. bar bayern last season in munich, united have not lost a game away from home since 2007 at san siro when milan ripped us apart. we have a superb record in europe and if we can get our top players fit, chelsea will not score a goal in 180 mins. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 1:08pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
chamotex: 19 appearances all season(pathetic). evra(35), vidic(35), rafael(25), o'shea(25). ferdinand should be ashamed of himself. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 1:01pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
chamotex: i trust vidic to be fit. it's rio ferdinand that does my head in. silly calf injury has kept him out now for months. if we have rafael-rio-vida-evra with anderson, carrick and fletcher shielding them. . . .with nani-rooney-valencia running at chelsea's back four, then we have a genuine chance to blow them away. david luiz is not available(cup tied or unregistered). |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 12:56pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
chamotex: that's what mourinho will do. i love no nonsense managers. if you earn 120k per week, you should be prepared to die on the pitch. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 12:50pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
chamotex:ferguson also said nani will be out for a month. . . .don't take that old man's words as the gospel. he always gives the most pessimistic estimate when it comes to injuries to his players. i don't know how a calf injury can keep someone as big as rio from playing. personally, i think rio has no passion - that's the disadvantage of success. the hunger to achieve more simply dies. sir alex is also relaxed about these things. i trust mourinho to pump pain-killing injections in that calf and get rio on the pitch asap. we have a genuine chance to play in the final especially when the 2nd legs of the quarter/final and semi/final(if we qualify) will be played at old trafford. ferdinand better get on the pitch and stop tweeting like a cyberwhore. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 12:36pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Mr_TA: our chances of winning, get rio and vidic fit. we face chelsea 3 times within a month but 2 of those games are at old trafford. the second leg is at old trafford, that is a massive massive advantage for man utd. however, rio ferdinand must play those games. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 12:30pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
chelsea are out. there's no english club capable of beating man utd over 2 legs. it won't happen under alex ferguson. i just hope rio sorts his useless calf out and play. if we have rio/vida/vds. . . .chelsea wont score a goal against united. no atkinson to bail them out. |
