My uncle was handed over cocaine, by his very close friend ...... Many years ago......
For this single reason, my mother always gets apprehensive, when people bring anything to us (whilst travelling abroad)......
I have a 0% tolerance rate in accepting goods from people (only people allowed are my wife & sister's).......🤣😂 A drivers license ? 🫨 |

Viruses: In other news, na why e dey hard to help be this https://www.nairaland.com/7661684/nigerian-woman-finds-drugs-inside Doesn't look like she's helping. She seems to be running a courier business. And I also I think "help" depends on your relationship. For example, I wouldn't accept crayfish(or packed) good from a random person on the Internet, but what about someone we live together ? Or say a friend whom we have been together for years ? Perhaps not even packed foods as they are easily "stacked". How about documents? 1 Like |

slimanyd: Morning Comrades. I attempt to book articles and airframe told me I would need a transit visa. Abeg. Which airline is best to Birmingham for a nursing mother without much delay and doesn't require a transit visa to get to UK.
And thirdly, i saw some airlines putting dollar amount as there fare , I hope I can make payment with transfer or via my normal naija visa card and which is the easiest way in making the payments Thanks.
Yes, Airfrance requires a Transit Visa to travel through France. I think all direct flights to Birmingham pass through transit countries. (You might wanna give Turkish Airlines a look) Prices quoted in USD are paid in USD. You can't make a transfer and your naira visa card wouldn't work. Qatar Airways quotes their prices in Naira and they accept Bank Transfer. If you decide to use that, I have put my Privilege Club link here https://www.qatarairways.com/en-in/Privilege-Club/join-now.html?P1=Ry93TElJemw4REU9&R1=UTd1NEFuN3hwUUovQTFVMlRORnZEZz09&iid=ALL97317200 its a referral scheme where you get 3000 avios for registering Cheers 2 Likes |

NB : That was an illustration based on my personal credit score ........ Your credit score could be much better than mine, meaning you get a better apr + lower total amount repayable......... Not sure one could get a better offer than 5% on 10k over 36 months. Baba share small credit score with us o. Let's get good offers too. 1 Like |

Wouldn't advise anyone to take this risk cause dependent has to apply at least 6 months before MA's visa expires and visa vignette expires within 3 months after issue if I'm correct. Let's not forget also that adult dependent can't be out of the UK for more than 180days in a year so if you add all these info, it's unrealistic for dependent to come in a week before MA's visa expires.
I don't wanna believe the person that got dependent visa of 6 months that extended beyond MA's validity. My guess is that he mistook end of session for end of visa (BRP expiration) cause dependent visa solely depends on MA's visa validity and period. There's no 180 days requirement anymore. Only applicable for ILR applications. |

Adedoks: Hi family, Please I need clarity concerning IHS refund. I need answers and help. we are a family of 5 and we applied for IHS refund and it is now successful. and we will be refunded in 6 weeks.
but the card we used for the IHS payment was that of an agent in naija then. now the agent is claiming that she cannot refund the money when it is paid because she cant remember the card she used for the payment.
My question is can I tell the IHS REFUND TEAM that I want them to refund the money to another account.
please has anyone given IHS reimbursement team another account for the refund? No you can't. Also I think you could have reached out to the agent first before requesting the refund. |

bigtt76: There's a central database where all passports are scanned into (reason why machine-readable passports are being used worldwide) and with your previous passport numbers linked to newer ones, even if you show up with a brand new passport, your previous travel history can still be tracked.
Yes but they only have your immigration records for the particular country. There's no central global immigration database. Five ways treaty however is an agreement between the US, UK, Aus, Canada and NZ to share border information. https://www.dhs.gov/publication/five-country-joint-enrollment-and-information-sharing-project-fccThat's the limit. The UK doesn't even share with the Schengen zone anymore. 2 Likes |

bigtt76: They see everything - when you arrive the country, when you leave and where you traveled to. That's why they ask for your passport at the entry point or departure even if they don't stamp you out.
Not really. They see what's on the passport and your immigration records to that particular country only. Except you have a flag on your passport which can be request by any country. Arriving in Dubai (for example) on a fresh passport, they have no means of verifying your UK immigration record as the UK doesn't share border information with them. |

So why wont they see the dubai trip na? Also, lets assume you have been to uk, ger, dubai, fra, belgium, and now you have a fresh passport, and you are traveling from nigeria to uk, do you mean
1) uk immigration can only see that you have been to uk in the past
Or
2) uk immigration can only see that you have been to uk and other shengen listed above but not dubai
Or
3) uk immigration can see all of the countries you have been to before 1. |

If i have a passport, and i have been to several countries and stamps are on it, and such passport expires. And i get a new passport.
Are the immigration officers in airport able to tell if such person have had lot of travel histories even when the new passport has no stamps.
Would they purposely run scan on the person history or they just have a computer that tells them on the spot the person's history or they have to ask the person first if he has been to other countries before They are able to check if you've been to the country before or like the schengen zone, they'll see your previous immigration records. But they wouldn't see your trip to Dubai. |
