You never thought you will get pregnant, because when you have sex without protection and sperm is deposited inside you, what happens is that you get fat and fresh... grin

Mumu... cheesy

You should have gotten a serious infection that will destroy your womb permanently from that experience, not pregnancy sef.

Family / Re: Let's Be The Judge.what Type Of Punishment Do Rapists Deserve? by crackkland: 7:57am On Jun 02, 2020
zed7:
Rape is rape. The issue is how do we prove rape beyond all reasonable doubt? Most rape happen with no witnesses. If you put life imprisonment or death sentence then many people will use it to frame people up.

The rape issue is dicey. Except you have a camera showing the action and recording their voices, you can't really tell what happened.
This is what most people don't quite realize, shouting "justice justice, punishment punishment" doesn't remove from the fact that rape crimes are one of the hardest to prove in court.

With the exception of gang-rape incidents like the recent case of Uwa which shows beyond all reasonable doubt that the victim was raped, rape incidents that involve just one male and another female accusing him, will hardly even get to trial.

Based on correlating multiple data sources, RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network) estimates that for every 1,000 rapes, 384 are reported to police, 57 result in an arrest, 11 are referred for prosecution, 7 result in a felony conviction, and 6 result in incarceration.

Now that is rape statistics for the US where one could ignorantly claim that rape should be easy to prove... yet, notice how the numbers are low - from 384 reported out of 1000, only 57 result in an arrest and out of that, just 7 get a conviction, and then only 6 of them will make it to prison.

If rape does not involve multiple men, or led to some serious injury or death of the victim, most rape accusations will simply end up as a case of 'she said, and he said...' OR 'who was/went where, and why was he/she there...

Family / Re: My Sister In-law Tried To Scam Me. by crackkland: 8:39pm On Jun 01, 2020
I didn't even have to read all of it to detect the scam attempt. cheesy

This is a typical by-the-playbook technique when it comes to agency/federal ministry recruitments - they create a sense of urgency and existing connection to one director or HR exec.
And guess what? If you tell your SIL you're interested next week, the slot will still be open. grin

Chevron Warri, has had lots of people who fell into this same scam.

Just explain to your husband and tell him about your reservations but avoid telling him it's his sister you suspect. Put your suspicions on the contact she claims to have and make her (your SIL) out to be innocent, at least to avoid family issues.

If he still insists you should give it a try, then he should give her the money from his pocket.

Family / Re: Should We Tell Our Partners Everything??? by crackkland: 11:31pm On May 31, 2020
Everything as a choice of word, is too vague. No one can actually know every single thing (past & present) about their partner.

Personally, I operate on the concept of transparency - especially on things that have/will have a direct effect on how we perceive each other, or an effect on the relationship in general.

For transparency to succeed perfectly though, you have to be confident that whoever you're with, loves you enough to overcome that typical knee-jerk judgemental reaction.

I find that people who are weary of being 100% transparent with their partners really do feel some level of emotional insecurity... they're not confident enough in the love their spouse claims to have for them.

I am tired, i am tired of the things we humans know, it seems we already know everything and don't want to add another kobo of knowledge, we already have conceived/stated rules for everything and deviating from it, is frowned upon.
Change don't necesirily means negative, lots of good can come up in it.
Adhering to dogmatic rules sometimes leads to prejudice.
So i don't fancy the conventional way of relationship that involves entitlement and restriction. I wanted to show her a new way to love, whereby, 'to love', gives one happiness which is suppose to be the core value of human existance and living.
It also have disadvantage which is uncertainity, freedom, and individualism.

How is loving for happiness and moments, instead of other values and promising a long time future that may or may not happen.

How is this manuipulation?

Good you were intuitive enough to recognize this.

Whatever you're having with her now, take care not to let it go any further than necessary.

When a single sexually-active person starts talking about how sex before marriage is a scam, you should never take him/her serious.

They're only trying to make excuses for their indiscretions.
