Business / Re: The Top Five Digital Marketing Agencies In Nigeria: An Unbiased List. by crowne: 2:40am On Aug 22, 2017
What's all the fuss about Agencies. I believe digital marketing consultants in nigeria are the next wave.

Pros and cons of working with a consultant:

Pros:
More access to senior level strategists, rather than specialists
Payment model based on creation of ideas rather than billable hours, which can restrict progress
Individual services and strategies catered to your industry and business model
Strong industry expertise

Cons:
Not fully aligned with a brand’s internal marketing team
No implementation of strategic recommendations
Limited accountability when it comes to results of recommendations

How Do You Choose the Right Verified Pages?

So how do you choose the right verified pages for your branded content campaigns? If you don’t know of specific media outlets, celebrities, and influencers offhand, you can start with Audience Insights.

Let’s say that you have a product for cat lovers. In Audience Insights, click on Everyone on Facebook as your audience to start with. In the left sidebar under Interests, enter a relevant interest (for example, the word “cats”).

Facebook is rolling out Canvas Custom Audiences which allow advertisers to create audiences of those who engage with Canvas. Here’s what you need to know.

This allows marketers to get multiple pages tagged in branded content. For example, a company could have its main page tagged along with a specific product page. Or a television broadcasting company could have its main page tagged along with the page for its latest show. It’s a feature that offers lots of different possibilities.

From here, create your post as usual, published or scheduled as usual, and boosted or advertised as usual. Once engagement begins for the post and advertising, you should begin to see the data come through in your page’s Insights.

What Are the Rules?

As with most Facebook features, Branded Content comes with a few policies that both verified pages and marketers must adhere to. Non-boosted or advertised posts must adhere to the general Branded Content policies. Boosted and advertised posts must follow both the Branded Content policies and the usual advertising guidelines.

Be sure to read the guidelines carefully before you invest time crafting a campaign that may be shot down by Facebook. As a Facebook Marketing Expert . They monitor branded content closely, regardless of whether it’s boosted or advertised.
Business / Re: Facebook Now Charges In Naira. Awesome! by crowne: 1:50pm On Jun 18, 2016
Trina0936:

I think you should use GTbank and UBA or first bank master and visa cards. They support foreign transactions very well.
Meanwhile, Placing ads isn't the problem, its actually making it seen by your target audience. That is the set of people you want to see ur ad! I am a digital marketer and I boost ads on Facebook. It is actually cheaper than setting up an ad account because

1. You can do it without paying a dime until you get a huge reach to your target audience.ie Facebook will charge you after you have gotten the result you want which is getting views from your target audience.
2. I can easily boost your ad with my fanpage on Facebook. I own a personal blog as well. Even use my MasterCard to do initial transaction and you can balance me later.
3. You can choose how long you want to boost your ad and those you want to see it on Facebook eg two weeks,a month or 16-70 years target audience.
4. You can also choose the region or country that you want to see the ad. Like Lagos or Nigeria.
5. Finally, you can get to choose if you want only men or women to see the ad. Like Always pad ad should be mostly for women.
6. You also get to see your own ad live if you fall within the requirements of target audience.
Contact me for more details: kimberlugee@gmail.com

Please do not run ads for someone else using your own fan page. Advise them to create a Facebook page for their business then use that to advertise.

The first thing you do before running ads is identify the goal.

Who views and Likes & seeing ad don epp ?

Facebook is powerful and if you do not fully know what you are doing its easy to waste a lot of money without any results.

Always optimize for conversions i.e pay only for the results that actually make business sense e.g somebody contacting your business especially for SME's that don't have a lot of money to play with.

Business / Michael Chu’di Ejekam, Retail Developer, Extols Future Of Pick N Pay In Nigeria by crowne: 3:29pm On May 09, 2016
Expert retail developer, Michael Chu'di Ejekam, praises the possibility of Pick N Pay and the future of the retail market in Nigeria and Sub Saharan Africa.
Michael Chu’di Ejekam, a recognized authority in retail real estate development, discusses a recent article about the planned entry of a major grocery chain into Nigeria and the problems faced by prior attempts by other retailers.

Ejekam says, “Though some retailers have struggled and exited the Nigeria market, those with the appropriate business models can survive and thrive. In many respects, Nigeria represents the perfect storm for retail as well as real estate investment; Large and growing population of 180 million, burgeoning middle class, rapid urbanization, high growth in household consumption. The same positive trend applies to many markets in Sub-Saharan Africa. Nigeria’s population is forecast to grow to 400 million population by 2050 in a land mass about 30% larger than the US state of Texas.”
Nigeria is the largest retail market in Africa with nearly $200 Billion annual total retail sales forecast for 2016. Only 5% of groceries sales, for example, is via formal retail channels. Kenya, in contrast, has 30% formal penetration.
Ejekam continued to say, “Despite huge demand versus supply imbalance for Nigeria retail; retailers struggle to scale. Retail scalability is limited due to challenges in securing land, high construction costs, difficulty in securing equity and debt financing, high rental rates, the dearth of development expertise, limited pool of tenants with appropriate business models for the country”.
The impact of the underdevelopment of retail is felt by the general population. High food prices is a major problem: Approximately 60% of Nigerian household expenditure is devoted to food consumed at home vs. 6.5% in the USA.
Nigeria is merely at the first step of retail growth (development, leading to the next stage of acceleration and then consolidation thereafter). Despite the short-term challenges in the Nigeria market including currency, retailers entering or operating with the correct business models will reap the rewards for decades to come.

Webmasters / Re: Google Adwords/ Keywords Expert Required Urgently by crowne: 7:17pm On Feb 29, 2016
Some Key things to ask when hiring a Google Adwords Expert.

1. What is your digital marketing framework or strategy for our organization?

2. What ideas do you have in order to reduce your company’s Pay Per Click ads budget spending from $3,000 dollars a month to $2,500?

3. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What area of digital marketing are you really good or weak at

4. What Key metrics that would you use to measure the performance of the overall goals you have set for your business.

There are very few Google Adwords Experts who understand their stuff presently in Nigeria and this Google Adwords expert at oyintemi.com seems to know his stuff.

I'd recommend him anyday.
