Salisu Ahmed, a Nigerian man who has courageously lived with HIV for an astonishing 31 years, has opened up about his tumultuous journey in a gripping interview with reality star Doyin David.

Ahmed recounted the fateful day he contracted the virus, which stemmed from his first extramarital affair, forever altering the course of his life.

Ahmed revealed the harsh realities he faced: ostracized by his community, he was denied access to shared toilets and bathrooms, forced into isolation that amplified his suffering.

The impact of his condition was devastating; said he lost his teaching job, a career he cherished, and faced the heartbreaking abandonment of his wife and children.

“I am Salisu Ahmed, I have been living with this virus for 31 years,

“The first experiment of going outside my matrimonial home is how it happened. It has been proven that about 85 to 90 percent of people living with HIV contracted this thing through sexual intercourse.

“I was denied the use of the bathroom of the compound, I was not allowed to access the toilet, I was formerly a teacher so I was asked honourably to stop coming to the school.

“She packed everything including the children at home, they left me.”

On July 29th, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Southport, England, where three young children were killed in a stabbing attack during a dance class. The victims, named by Merseyside Police, were six-year-old Bebe King, seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, and nine-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar.

The attack took place at around 11:50 am on Hart Street in Southport, where a dance class for children aged 6 to 11 was being held. A 17-year-old boy from Cardiff, Wales, was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. The suspect, who was not named, was taken into custody for questioning.

In addition to the three children killed, six other children and two adults were injured in the attack. The injured children were rushed to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool, where they were reported to be in critical condition. The two adults, who were trying to protect the children, were also hospitalized.

The incident has shocked the community of Southport and the nation as a whole. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called the attack "horrific and deeply disturbing". King Charles III also sent his condolences, prayers, and sympathies to those affected by the "appallingly horrific" incident.

Merseyside Police Constable Abigail Kennedy expressed her shock at the severity of the attack, stating that most of the victims were children. The 78-year-old Republican – who is campaigning to return to office in this year’s presidential elections – was rushed off stage in Pennsylvania with blood on his face and ear, and he’s admitted he didn’t realise immediately what had happened.

He said in a statement shared to his Truth Social account: “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear.

“I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realised then what was happening.”

The former ‘Apprentice’ star confirmed the shooter had been killed and also offered his condolences to the family of a person who lost their life during the shocking incident as he thanked the United States Secret Service, and law enforcement officials.

He wrote: “I want to thank the United States Secret Service, and all of law enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured.

“It is incredible that such an act can take place in our country.

Women with large busts may sweat less than their smaller-breasted counterparts, British sports scientist have found.

Researchers discovered the density of sweat glands reduces in line with breast size, which is the likely reason women with big boobs produced less moisture. 

Meanwhile, less well-endowed women sweated more from the breast area, the study revealed.   

The researchers said their findings couple help inform the design of sports bras for women of all sizes that better addressed 'wetness, stickiness, support and chafing' in order to stay comfortable.

To put their theories to the test, scientists at the University of Southampton studied 22 healthy women aged 18 to 55 with various breast sizes.

They found women with the smallest breasts had up to 71 sweat glands per square centimetre, while those with the largest had as few as 10 glands across the same area.

Researcher Hannah Blount said: ‘More than 85 per cent of women deem a sports bra an essential piece of equipment for exercise, but it’s actually really hard to find one that’s comfortable and supportive, so a lot of women struggle with this.

‘Our thought process was to look at how sports bras offer support to women and comfort to women of varying breast sizes, especially in hot conditions when women are more likely to experience issues like chafing and significant sweat accumulation in the bra.

A 14-year-old girl was taken into custody this week after her 79-year-old grandmother died in an apparent homicide.

According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, on May 23, at 12:26 a.m., deputies and the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to a home on Northwest 41st Street in Lauderdale Lakes after a man called and said his mother was unresponsive.

The man told first responders that he was hanging out with a friend that night and left his 14-year-old daughter at home with the victim, Yevheniia Koval, but when he returned, Koval was on the ground “with multiple bruises on her body.”

Medics transported Koval to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

The medical examiner conducted an autopsy and determined her manner of death was homicide. The 14-year-old was also taken to the hospital for medical clearance.

Johnny Wactor has been shot and killed at the age of 37

The actor was best known for starring as Brando Corbin in the ABC daytime soap opera ‘General Hospital’ but was killed in downtown Los Angeles early on Saturday morning (25.05.24) , his mother Scarlett has confirmed to TMZ.

She explained to the outlet that Johnny was with a colleague when they saw three men “messing with Johnny’s car” and that the suspects “allegedly tried to steal a catalytic converter”.


Scarlett noted that Johnny “did not try to stop” the alleged suspects in their actions, and that even though paramedics rushed to the scene shortly after the shooting, he was pronounced dead in hospital.

On Sunday evening, Johnny’s agent David Shaul remembered his late client as being “a spectacular human being.”

He told People: “Not just a talented actor who was committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him. Standing for hard work, tenacity and a never give up attitude. In the highs and lows of a challenging profession he always kept his chin up and kept striving for the best he could be.
