The president of Nigeria would make decisions that would have a significant effect in Nigeria and in the States than whatever your writer of fiction ever will. That is how ''influence'' is defined. She never mentions the benefits that come with being a woman, such as people treating you better, easier to get a job, state support in domestic conflict, alimony rights, child support rights etc. In the US and the west in general, men go through hell following marriage conflict. A woman can even call the police and claim falsely that the husband beat her, and the cops will come in and arrest, and lock up the husband with no evidence, pending trial.
