BizBloke:

Priority: 5 working days.
20th, being yesterday, was the 5th working day from her biometrics day. Since this is peak period, it's normal & expected. I'd say give it somewhere within next week or thereabouts.

ok thank you, fingers crossed let me keep praying.

Thank you for the response, does she still need this even though i am sponsoring her trip fully, forgot to mention that.
Monmarri:

No interview. Just submission of documents.

You need six months of invoices. Infact all the documents issed to her customers. Depending , y mum can issue invoice three times in a month to her customers. I will advise that you scan all the invoices and paste them on Microsoft word and write on the heading INVOICES FOR GOODS/ SERVICES or any heading of y choice.

Hello justwise and all the gurus in the house, please am putting together documents for my mums interview, i have attached her 6 months bank statement which shows her salary but she also runs an unregistered side business which i explained in her cover letter as the source of extra incomes in her account and i will love to attach invoices issued to her customers as proof of this business, i will like to know if one month is enough or do i need to add 6 months of invoice too ? I would really appreciate any response.

Hello gurus in the house

Please i've got a quick question, am putting documents together for my moms appointment, she got a land from my dad last month specifically on the 6th of August and the said document was properly documented i.e deed of conveyance & plan of the property. my question now is can she use the land as ties to Nigeria considering it was just purchased last month and from my dad or does this raise suspicion.

Secondly the question of the house you live in the application form? my parents house has only my dads name in the papers, while filling out her application form i wrote the property is owned by myself and my husband is this going to be an issue or does my dad need to write a letter. a quick response will be appreciated.

Thanks guyz...

Good day to all the gurus in the house, thanks for all your hardwork. please i need assistance as i am applying for my mum to visit myself and my family in the UK for about 1 month as i just had a baby.
1. My mum works with a federal ministry and earns 86k monthly, we are paying for everything about her application, but was asked how much she is going to spend while in the UK, i put 200 pounds dont know if that is too small.
2. do you have anyone financially dependent on you i put in the name of my 12 year old brother just to help serve as ties back home, i dont know if is ok too as my dad is alive and takes care of all my brothers financial needs. Also my dad is 72 years old is this strong enough ties?
3. Do you have another income or any savings? i wrote Other regular income as she owns a frozen meat shop with transactions of about 300k in and out of her account monthly, the company is not registered with CAC, will this be a problem ? as my husband here in the UK is sponsoring the trip fully.
4. What kind of regular income do you have? Answer is Investments, Another income Total amount of money that you get in a year 1200000.00NGN. is 1.2 million too much and will this affect the application?
5. What is the total amount of money you spend each month? Answer is 45000.00 NGN. This is just a confusing question and a rough estimate because she never really uses her salary and mostly spend money from her business and my dad. But is my response ok?
6. Am paying for the priority service which is 400USD, after doing this do i still need to pay to get an appointment date?

Thanks alot, i anticipate a response.

Hello Justwise and all the gurus in the house,

Thanks for all your help especially on my previous applications which has all been successful. Am in a fixed situation now and need urgent advice. So i applied to join my husband as his dependent (spouse) last year (June 2018) and got the visa, i also did my masters in the UK(2016-2017), however my husbands tier 1 visa was expiring this year so instead of the usual 2 years i was granted visa till the expiration of his which was April 2019 and he has already applied for his Indefinite leave to remain since 1st February, i have also applied to renew my spousal visa and we are both waiting for a decision on that, now am 7 months pregnant and was looking at applying for a visit visa from my mum (2 months visit), obviously with my husband as the sponsor, she has been to the UK once in 2005 for a wedding my step sister who i dont really communicate with, do i also have to mention her in the application cos i was in secondary school when my parents came for her wedding and i didnt know much plus we dont talk. My mum has'nt travelled out since then but my parents are doing very well in Naija and relocation is definitely the last thing on their mind. i am very confused can we make this application with our pending visa decision, can i use my sister inlaw who is British as the major applicant? my mum works with a federal ministry and runs her own business, plus my dad and kid brother (12 years) are still in Nigeria too is this ties strong enough? the solicitor we just spoke to said recently 9/10 UK visas are denied don't know how true this is and am due to give birth ending of JULY. All and any advice given will be appreciated.

Planning on doing a registry marriage in ikoyi registry in February, so I went to make inquiries today and was told that since my fiancé lives in the UK (not British) that we need a special marriage and it is 60k which is different from what I thought before, please is this correct or is the lady trying to ripe me off.

Please can anyone help with an answer to this question. Thanks and God bless.

If you have more question feel free to ask

Thank you for the response, I had already gone through the pages of their sight before now, my actual question is do you think with my story I have the chance of getting the marriage/ civil partnership visa since I have lived in the UK before? Have you seen anybody in this situation and finally with the way I put cash in my account would it be considered as money lodgement. Thanks once again.

What is your fiance's status in the UK?
Hello Justwise, thanks for responding
He is a resident on an entrepreneurial visa and would be applying for his permanent residence by April 2019. He said the application needs to be made at least one year before his own application which is ending of March this year.

Hello Justwise , please I would love to seek an advice from you, I finished my masters from the UK and returned in September 2017, my tier 4 visa was valid till October 3 so no overstay, I was in the UK for 20months, I have a valid US visa (though not used yet) and I also visited 3 shenghen countries (Amsterdam,Paris & Milan) during my time of study in the UK. But my problem now is my wedding is in June 2018 and I want to travel to the UK for just one month, initial plan was to apply for a visitors visa and just go and do my prewedding shoot / get some wedding things and after marriage my fiancé applies for me as his dependant but we just found out that I cannot be in the UK while he is applying. So we decided to do a registry marriage when I go over, so when I leave in March he would apply for me and we go back together after wedding. After searching online I found out I can’t do a registry marriage with a standard visitors visa but rather a marriage/civil partnership visa, please I would love to get advice on the possibility of getting that visa also I would like to state that I am applying in February, my fiancé put in some money in my account putting in 700k into my account I also had 300k before then, though I am not working for now but I run an online hair business on Instagram and they have been an in and out flow of money from my account since August and after my return. I would also be submitting an invitation letter and statement of account from my fiancé as my sponsor together with my own statement of account for the application. Also my fiancé came visiting in November 2017. I would really appreciate any idea or contribution to avoid any mistake or refusal of my application. Thanks in advance.
