Hello everyone
I’m going for a conference and the conference date has expired but didn’t get an early date.

What can I do? The visa date is in a month’s time and the event is in May.

Do I cancel and change it or just go for the interview even though the purpose of travel has passed.

Hello everyone.
My mom has an interview date for 2024 but qualifies for drop box.
What are the next steps? An agent is asking for N200K or more to get the dates and said the new date is from Feb for Lagos.
Can we get dates by ourself? The form was bought in April.

And they say it needs to be filled 6months before the date.

Please advise and also if I can know the best steps to take.

Anyone can pay. Just make sure they DILIGENTLY enter your correct passport details. Names. Passport Nos etc.

And the receipt should be saved

Hello. Where did you see the date? And secondly how are you making payment for the visa, do you have a GTB account? I started the scheduling interview stage and it asked for receipt number and I got stuck.

Hello People,

I am back again, don't want to make mistakes in scheduling this appointment.

My questions are;

1. I saved my DS 160 Confirmation without printing the form we filled. Is there a way to still print the form? Nt the confirmation number page the form filled.

2. The next steps after filling the DS 160 form is it to make payments or schedule appointment?

3. Can someone make payment with their banking app for me? Instead of me going to the bank if I don't use GTB.

4. The number that is supposed to be the same- Is it the DS 160 number and your payment number? How do you ensure it is same?

Same issue I am experiencing , I sent a mail to the embassy not gotten a response till now. I want to try another browser too, I was using Chrome. If you scroll up you would see where someone was advised to send a mail and they will send you log on details. I also called the embassy and they said 2 business days. Still waiting though.
If you find a solution please let me know, that's the only thing remaining for me.

Lol! I have called them and they said in 2 business days they will contact me for the mail sent concerning the scheduling an appointment. For the group application they said Nigerians are no longer allowed to do group applications I saw it on their website so we might do it individually . But on the form we stated that we were going as a group.

Fingers crossed waiting for the registration site to work so we can schedule an appointment and try expedited scheduling too.

I and my Co-founder got invited by an accelerator in the US for the end of Jan. This is not our first time traveling but first time to the US.
The Accelerator is covering the trip and its a 4day program, they have sent an invitation letter, accommodation certificate.

Is there a way they can send an email to the embassy stating that they are inviting us- Is there an email for that?

We have filled the DS160 form and tried scheduling for an appointment but it keeps bringing up an error message. I saw on this thread that someone advised we send a mail, I have sent the mail not gotten any response yet.

Secondly, how do we book the appointment so we both have our interviews together?

I have some questions concerning filling the form.

I have applied for a US visa in 2016 but was denied , I can't remember the email used or the log on details. Can I create another profile with another email?

I am also trying to fill the Ds 160 form and I need to upload a passport with white background.

I have a white background passport but it is not same size as the US one. I used it for my schenghen visa, can I upload that one now and take the US size when going for my interview?

Or does the passport I use in the Ds 160 form have to be the same I present at the embassy?

I am 34, first degree and about 10years experience post NYSC. I run my own business in In the textile industry, my experience is more Busines development because I was also in marketing in my 9-5 before I started my business.
I have not written ielts yet. When I tried simulating my scores with max ielts scores my CRS was 414.

What steps can I take to increase my CRS score?
