ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates seeking admission into Osun State University (UNIOSUN) PART-TIME must possess five (5) ordinary level credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language. For candidates pursuing courses in Sciences, Engineering, Management and Social Sciences, credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory from any of WASC,NECO, GCE or NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Prospective candidates for Direct Entry must possess five (5) credit passes in ‘O’ Level in relevant subjects and at least Lower Credit of National Diploma or at least Merit in NCE; candidates with two Advanced Level/IJMB Passes in relevant subjects with three other ordinary level credits are also qualified for Direct Entry admission.

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION
Prospective candidates will apply online via www.uniosun.edu.ng and the form will be processed accordingly. Candidates will further go through a screening exercise. Successful candidates will have their names published on-line and through SMS messages.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
• Visit the UNIOSUN PART-TIME portal via http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://chrdportal.uniosun.edu.ng. This will take you to the Online Application Platform.
• Ensure you read all the registration guidelines and instructions before proceeding to register.
• Payment of N10, 000.00 for the UNIOSUN PART-TIME online Application Form is through the UNIOSUN Interswitch WebPAY platform.
• Complete the online application form, print and bring the printout along with photocopies of your credentials for all examinations taken, on the day of screening exercise.

Online Application Form closes on 27th August, 2015 Screening will take place on 29th August, 2015 at the Main Campus, Osun State University, Osogbo.

All candidates are expected to arrive at the screening venue by 10.00 am

Candidates who were offered admission last session and paid Acceptance Fee when the Programme could not take-off need not apply but should only write to the Registrar indicating their interest to continue in 2015/2016 Academic Session.

As the dead line date draws closer.... I want to advise all aspirant to bracen up for their forth coming post utme and DE screening . If u have been having chanlenges registrying and u decide to sit at home and make complains here on naira land. I would say u re really not passionate for admission.I could remember during my time, I had to be in osogbo campus two days prior to the exam and screening date to sort all issue out so as for it not to affect me getting an admission. I oblige u not to sit in ur comfort zone and make complains here on nairaland. take up Ur bags and move down to the school,get in physical contact with the people in the admission office and tender ur complaints ,or u go down the ICT building for further clarification. u will end up meeting people who have gone down the same lane that u are on now...and they scaled tru. Most of the advise u can get here might be limited, but only the school (Uniosun) has the final verdict on what u should or shouldn't do. We should all stop being lazy and complacent, always expecting tins at our door step or finger tip.u've got to take the bull by the horn. Make that trip that could turn tins around for u. Wish u all best of luck and I pray ur efforts will not be in vain.

But what if the school I chose had given me admission, will jamb comply with uniosun if am interested in uniosun admission. Am just asking cos someone said it had happened to someone before and jamb refused to give the person two admission letters

You can never be given two admission letter from jamb....I will advise u focus on one of the institution so there won't be a clash as regards u getting admitted by either of the two university.... which ever of the school offers u admissiin , it will enter into jamb data base. If one school gives u admission, jamb cannot comply with Uniosun admission again. cos ur information already exists in their data base that another university had offered u an admission.

There's no second choice for jamb student ...only DE student....So if u are a jambite, you will only choose one university, one polythecnic ..e.t.c during registration. Which are you ?

So its only when u see a baptist member that's when u can get an accommodation... at this point in time the putme exam should be ur priority and not a baptist member that will accommodate u. I have seen cases where people even sleep in class rooms to write putme the next morning. My dear, just look for a God fearing person to accommodate u and stop being religious . Let the putme exam be ur priority for now.

Notice is hereby given that the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise will hold from Tuesday 11th to Friday 14th August 2015 at 9am - 5pm for candidates who chose Osun State University as their First choice, with a minimum score of 180.

However, candidates that scored less than 200 would not be considered for admission into any of the underlisted programmes:

Accounting
Economics
Business Administration
Political Science
Nursing
Law

Also, candidates that are interested in the following programmes but did not choose UNIOSUN can apply: Public Health, Physiology, Guidance and Counseling, Educational Management, Agronomy, Plant Biology, Zoology, Fisheries, Wildlife Management , and Mathematics.

SPECIAL NOTICE:
The University is not admitting candidates for MBBS (Medicine) programme for the 2015/2016 academic session. Candidates for the MBBS programme may wish to change to any of the programmes in the University for which they are qualified or apply for a change of institution to other Universities.

COMPLETION OF APPLICATION FORMS

Candidates are to register on-line by accessing the University website: Visit the Uniosun Post UTME Portal via http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or the post-UTME portal http://postutme.uniosun.edu.ng. to complete and submit an application. They are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission. One of these two copies should be brought along together with a copy of the candidate’s UTME Original Result Slip with passport photograph on it. If you do not have this document, click here to get yours score print-out on the day of the screening exercise. The second copy is to be submitted upon admission to the University.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Direct Entry candidates should complete the form on-line following the same process as above and report on the screening day. They are also expected to forward their Academic Transcript to the Registrar of Osun State University.

SCREENING CENTRES
All candidates (UTME and Direct Entry) are to report for screening at the date and centres indicated on their online registration printout. Candidates must report at least one hour before the commencement of the exercise. Candidates should also note that the screening exercise is to be Computer Based Testing (CBT), as well as Oral Interview.

ACCESS TO THE REGISTRATION PORTAL

Visit the Uniosun Post UTME Portal via http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://postutme.uniosun.edu.ng. This will take you to the online Application Platform. Ensure you read all registration guidelines and instructions before proceeding to register.
