Double N: Well said! Most of them don't travel by road to any part of the country, they know how to make things work like you mention the greed in them won't let these bunch of wicked politicians. In the past eight-ten yrs it has always been PDP and AC (ruling party) factor especially in Lagos State. These politician really have to look beyond party boundries if they really want the masses to reap dividens of democracy |

MJ was hate and loved by many, fellow NL members not excepted as we all have different opinions regarding the late MJ Most speech during his Memorial were so emotional, speeches from the likes of Brook Shields and Rev. Al Sharpton. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MAKLq865bk Any change of opinions regarding the King of Pop after watching his Memorial? |

You're definitely right Roddick, was very impressive I never expected him to put in a good performance especial against Federer judging from his previous encounter with Federer, it was an entertaining match thou. if Roddick can repeat today's performance in the up coming USA open he'll be rated among the favourite for the final |

@Sweetpie At the moment it could go Roddick's way but Roddick isn't Nadal, they are both different technically but he isn't playing too bad anyway. |

Tribune would have gone further to provide the names of these so called guv'nors. That would have made for a more credible story. All this speculation here and there and sensalization of news item don tire me. Hope Nigeria Tribune and other Nigeria Media Houses start exposing the alleged governors like MPs' expenses scandal in UK for a more credible story |

Most response are funny, things will never be the same thou. (for those that hawked nothing stopped you from attaining your personal goals in life) I was touched by the guy that was almost kidnapped. Like a friend will say: Level don change, if you once hawked you will never allow you child/children to hawk. |
Nairaland / General / Goodbye 2008: Here We Come, 2009! (Your Predictions For 2009) by dachamp(m): 10:38pm On Dec 31, 2008 |
It's hard to believe that another year has come and gone, but with so much happening in 2008: global recession and economic stress, presidential elections, warfare and terrorism, natural disasters, and other happenings both good and bad, perhaps it's good to shut the door quickly on this year (2008) and open up a new, more hopeful one(2009). After all, it is at times of strife that sometimes the greatest successes emerge. And this is what we are hoping for in 2009. Lets hear your predictions for 2009 |

Benin coach Reinhard Fabisch says he was asked if he would help fix the result of his side's Africa Cup of Nations match against Mali. Benin lost the Group B match 1-0 after conceding a second-half penalty. Fabisch is willing to give the Confederation of African Football the name and number of the man who claimed to be from a Singapore-based company. "He wanted to find out from me if there was any possibility of manipulating the match," Fabisch told BBC Sport. Match-fixing claims have rocked the Africa Cup of Nation,Ghana 2008. what impact will this have on upcoming games and do you think this same org. have not help fix matches in the past before approaching Reinhard Fabisch?
