Baba Go-slow is talking that the roads are bad!Bloody carcass of a human being, did anybody force you to be President? When last did he travel by road to any part of Nigeria? He should Shut up and take action. If he wants to repair the roads,he will.Enough of all this nonsense talk from all these self-centered,greedy,corrupt and Disgrace of a people called Politicians!

Well said! Most of them don't travel by road to any part of the country, they know how to make things work like you mention the greed in them won't let these bunch of wicked politicians. In the past eight-ten yrs it has always been PDP and AC (ruling party) factor especially in Lagos State. These politician really have to look beyond party boundries if they really want the masses to reap dividens of democracy

Celebrities / Re: Any Change Of Opinions Regarding The King Of Pop? by dachamp(m): 11:16pm On Jul 07, 2009

I had always loved Mj   cryI can remember watching the jackson's trial every single day till it was over. Although, it got confusing and people around me were biased, i still continued loving him. And now,  in death i love him more

Yeah! that is true atleast he was celebrated for more than 2hrs for his contribution to humanity rather than the controversies while he was alive.

MJ was hate and loved by many, fellow NL members not excepted as we all have different opinions regarding the late MJ
Most speech during his Memorial were so emotional, speeches from the likes of Brook Shields and Rev. Al Sharpton.

Any change of opinions regarding the King of Pop after watching his Memorial?
Religion / Re: I Have Never Fallen Under The Anointing- Why? by dachamp(m): 11:21pm On Jul 06, 2009

God is not bothered if you fall during annointing service or not. The question is,
what is your relationship with God?
are you really born again?
you better give your life to christ before it's too late. simple!

I agree with the above post
Sports / Re: ~Wimbledon 2009~ by dachamp(m): 12:45am On Jul 06, 2009

Yes o !!! (to both counts). We thank God! I'm VERY satisfied with Federer. . . and I've found another male tennis player to support in Roddick. . .

You're definitely right Roddick, was very impressive I never expected him to put in a good performance especial against Federer judging from his previous encounter with Federer, it was an entertaining match thou. if Roddick can repeat today's performance in the up coming USA open he'll be rated among the favourite for the final

If I was a feminist I would say it's not fair that the men get a cup and the ladies get a plate. . . That's that the men should drink and be merry and the women should serve the food?!?

Happily I'm not really much of a feminist and I think the plate is less gaudy anyway.

Go sleep jo! Because they didn't give Serena ceramic yesterday? it's tray, not a place, lol. It is used to serve the cup to Federer at the \winner's ball tonight. At least you're guaranteed sweet dreams.

Hahaha that was funny
Sports / Re: ~Wimbledon 2009~ by dachamp(m): 6:34pm On Jul 05, 2009
Yeah! Federer won,  not disappointed anyway but lost the game in second set.

F-E-D-E-R-E-R  2009 Wimbledon Champion!

Finally, Tatase and Sweetpie can go back to sleep.

Sports / Re: ~Wimbledon 2009~ by dachamp(m): 6:11pm On Jul 05, 2009

I must see the result before I sleep

Tatase and Sweetpie: I don't see the game ending anytime soon
Sports / Re: ~Wimbledon 2009~ by dachamp(m): 5:58pm On Jul 05, 2009

Someone (and by someone, I mean Federer) should just win. I woke up early to watch this thing jare,  I'm tired!

Hahaha Interesting game thou.
Sports / Re: ~Wimbledon 2009~ by dachamp(m): 4:48pm On Jul 05, 2009
@Sweetpie
and it seems like Roddick is going to win

At the moment it could go Roddick's way but Roddick isn't Nadal, they are both different technically but he isn't playing too bad anyway.
Sports / Re: ~Wimbledon 2009~ by dachamp(m): 4:24pm On Jul 05, 2009

there is no Nadal this year BORINGGGGGGGGGGGG

I wasn't expecting an interesting match btw Federer and Roddick just as most people were expecting Federer all the way

Old habit never die, I was disappointed the way Roddick lost the second set.

Tribune would have gone further to provide the names of these so called guv'nors. That would have made for a more credible story.

All this speculation here and there and sensalization of news item don tire me.

Hope Nigeria Tribune and other Nigeria Media Houses start exposing the alleged governors like MPs' expenses scandal in UK for a more credible story

Nairaland / General / Goodbye 2008: Here We Come, 2009! (Your Predictions For 2009) by dachamp(m): 10:38pm On Dec 31, 2008
It's hard to believe that another year has come and gone, but with so much happening in 2008: global recession and economic stress, presidential elections, warfare and terrorism, natural disasters, and other happenings both good and bad, perhaps it's good to shut the door quickly on this year (2008) and open up a new, more hopeful one(2009). After all, it is at times of strife that sometimes the greatest successes emerge. And this is what we are hoping for in 2009.

Lets hear your predictions for 2009

Sports / Match-fixing Claims Have Rocked The African Nations Cup by dachamp(m): 11:54am On Jan 25, 2008
Benin coach Reinhard Fabisch says he was asked if he would help fix the result of his side's Africa Cup of Nations match against Mali. Benin lost the Group B match 1-0 after conceding a second-half penalty.

Fabisch is willing to give the Confederation of African Football the name and number of the man who claimed to be from a Singapore-based company.

"He wanted to find out from me if there was any possibility of manipulating the match," Fabisch told BBC Sport.

Match-fixing claims have rocked the Africa Cup of Nation,Ghana 2008. what impact will this have on upcoming games and do you think this same org. have not help fix matches in the past before approaching Reinhard Fabisch? Your response
