As much as I'm not saying former president Obasanjo is a saint, this is the reason corruption still thrive admist us. Dino didn't respond to the allegations. Purchase of cars individually for oversight functions of committees even after the official car which becomes theirs after 4 years, earning more than what revenue and allocation office recommended, instead he's attacking the man, and I see people hailing Dino's response.

All former head of state gets a bullet proof car, and it's changed every 2 years. President buhari is the only one that returns the one he's using before collecting a new one.

Thanks
Please I need a response to my questions. Thanks

Just wondering, I haven't heard people discuss the use of the following bank cards for payment for use abroad. Zenith, Skye, UBA, FCMB, Sterling, Unity..........

Anyways, I was at Fidelity and GTB today and was told PTA sales has been suspended..

Yea maybe after your passport has been requested for it is then sent to Ghana for the stamping.
But I believe some of us especially those who applied online or are applying for a spousal open work permit have their applications worked on in Lagos then maybe Ghana for final decision.

Well all that's not important to me, if dem like send am to Timbuktoo or Kafanchan e don't matter. Except when u are this close to resumption and u are concerned about how long it will take for your passport to be dispatched.
It doesn't take long, I got it back in 3 days...

Please i want to ask if any vaccination is required before travelling to Canada?
For those who have left, what are the likely things we might encounter at the point of Exit in Nigeria and Point of entry in Canada.
Many thanks

The CBSA officer will ask to see your travel documents
when you arrive in Canada. Make sure they are not
packed in your luggage, and that you have them with
you. This will help speed up your entry to Canada.
You should be ready to show the following documents:
a valid passport or travel document

the letter of introduction from the visa office that
you received when your study permit was approved
(this letter contains your permit reference number
and the CBSA officer needs this letter to issue your
study permit)

a valid temporary resident visa (if required)

a copy of the letter of acceptance from the

designated learning institution at which you are
accepted to study

proof that you have enough money to support
yourself during your stay in Canada and

letters of reference or any other documents
recommended by the visa office where you
applied.

Carry these items and all other valuable papers, cash
and traveller’s cheques with you at all times. Do not
put them in your checked luggage.

You may not be allowed into Canada if any of your
documents are missing or if any of the information on
your application or letters of reference is incorrect.

found that on cic's website

proof that you have enough money to support
yourself during your stay in Canada.

Please what can i use as a proof? Statement, Cash or Card.

The last time I did it, I was told I could change only 4000 usd or it's equivalent in Pounds, and could only be done once in a quarter, that is once in four months. My passport was stamped by the bank, and it was processed online. So if the same procedure is still in place, you cannot get more than 4000 usd, whether you go to 10 banks, or just a bank, you may not get more than a total of 4000 usd, as your passport would be stamped by whichever bank is doing it for you, as well as at the amount and the rate. You can just get to the nearest diamond bank to you.....I guess they still have the best rate.....

Thanks.. you perfectly answered my question. I don't have a Diamond account and i was told you must have run the account for minimum of 6 months. Fidelity as at today was 199.50 to $1

Please Quick questions on the PTA.
Can I get it from two or more banks at the same time?
I was told it will be given to me in cash and I don’t want to travel with such amount, do I need to open a pre-funded dollar account or a Domiciliary account?
Finally, how do I transfer such amount on my pre-funded dollar account or a Domiciliary account to the Canada account?

Hello Everyone,
I visited 3 banks today to inquire about the use on Naira Master Card abroad and thought I should share this.
FCMB
I was told the daily limit on ATM withdrawal is $100, while on POS and web is $300. N240 is charged on withdrawal.
Fidelity
Daily limit on ATM is the Equivalent of N150,000, while on POS & web is N500,000. $4 is charged on withdrawal.
First Bank
Daily limit on ATM is the Equivalent of N150,000 while on POS & web is N500,000. N420 is charged on withdrawal.

I stand to be corrected if i'm wrong and your contribution is also welcome.

I knw u dont need transit visa for qatar and airfrance, as I've used both of them in time past, they just probably would take you to Doha and Paris (respectively). I knw there's a form of partnership btw klm and airfrance (not too sure of the relationship), because my ticket then had both klm and airfrance on it, so I guess the treatment should almost be the same. As for lufthansa, I really dont knw anything about it. Air France is cool, their meals are far better than Qatar.......but food is food anyway, I think I ate all then.....lolz
