Hi all!

Please does anyone know if cargo from nigeria to canada still runs at this time? I mean...has any restriction been put on that because of the corona virus issue?

Response urgently needed.

Thanks and God bless you

Ok. Thanks...

Just to confirm, you didnt grind yours too? And was it by cargo?

wizean:
Just label them appropriately, you will have no issues.
I brought in stuffs like that.

Hi all!!

Please, this is URGENT!!!

Did anybody here have unblended egusi (melon seeds) and ogbonno...all unblended in their cargo items??

I want to add these to my cargo and I dont want to grind them, I dont know if it will be seized.

Thank you for your responses.

I don't know if this question has been asked and answered on this thread but, kindly give help with an answer if you have it.

I have been thinking of a smooth way of transferring the money (the one I declared I am coming to Canada with) to Canada.

Will I be asked, at the point of entry, to show a proof that the funds are already in Canada?

Please, those that have already landed, kindly let us know how you went about with this and what the best options are.

God bless you!

I have sent mails to Ottawa office...no response.

Vfs Abuja said they can't receive our passports(those sent to india) till they get clarification. They are still waiting....

30 days ...ticking....24 days remaining.

Rijo02:

Yes, I think already read where someone mentioned that that they don't. Alternatively, you can actually send an email to CPC Ottawa and they will reissue you a new PPR letter with Accra office! Someone just posted it not too long ago. I think that will be ideal for you.

Thanks for the phone number too!

If you still need this contact...send me a pm

CheesyTee:
I applied for unilag transcript to be sent to WES since Sep 19.

My NECO and Masters certificate has been accepted and assessed but they’re yet to receive MSc transcript.

At first, I thought it was due to Canada Post’s strike as my alaroro self chose to send through Nipost (i was trying to buy time before diving into pool).

Long story short, I decided to mail unilag to confirm if my transcript has been processed, I was directed to check my status via records.unilag.edu.ng only to find “in progress”. I sent them another mail regarding the status and was told “we will looking into this. Sorry for the inconvenience”.

It’s almost three months and they didn’t bother processing my transcript. I’m just livid.

Anyone with contact that can help expedite processing? Thank you

Hello everyone,...

I have been thinking of a way to sort out sending our passports....and I thought I should ask here.

My mail says I should send our passports to vfs India or Nepal.

I am the primary applicant...and I am currently here in Nigeria.

Hubby is currently out of the country...Work.

****MY QUESTIONS****

Can we make our submissions separately? OR

Is it okay for me to send him our(mine and our child) passports for him to submit? Can he submit even though he is not the primary applicant?

Please anyone that has answers or who did something similar, kindly help me with answers....cos I am not sure what to do.

Thank you!

Ok. Thanks. Congratulations too!!!

I went to the vfs office here in Abuja to ask them about the vfs India on my letter.....if its a mistake.

And the lady that handled my inquiry there said she doesnt know, and that I could come back on monday, hopefully by then, she would have an answer.

Please Zeiya, can you kindly help me with details of your submission.....money paid and all that. Mine is a family of 3. So that I can prepare.

God bless you.

Zeiya:

I made all distinctions in my O'levels but I'm sure they won't even look at my CV twice. I heard even with a good Masters (which I'm about starting in the UK), there's still next to no hope. I don suffer since my service finished in June. grin[/quote

U shudnt lose hopes so easily...my immediate elder bro finishd with a 2-2. he currently worrks with pwc in the audit unit and travels here and there in d name of auditing their client coys. no single leg is known there..i guess its d profeasional certs he has that helpd him in. he had chattered (ICAN), had CISA before he made d only application dat got him in... fyi...hes got no msc yet! he took d risk of quittng his mkting job with uba (abuja)...and came dwn to lagos for their 10weeks training/academy (wateva its called) which he succeded in and got d offer (late 2013).

so..i believe u can too.

JAYJAYPREXY: ok thanks and i have heard but please give me advice on what i must do. this admission must not go to waste and it is my career. open to your advice

like modash sed....it cud be a blessing in disguise. u can defer your admission till next session and work twds other scholarships against next session. U can wait till u are sure u wont make achool dis year b4 u defer.

A year before now, i had two admissions in two uk schools but, had to defer them cos of no scholarhsip. Today, i have 3 admissions in 3 diff uk schools which i now have to defer considering the situation. I bought the MSc form for unilag,,now ASUU strike! ....lol.....smh...

my opinion,,, regardless of the dead state of the country, life just has to continue. prepare for the worst,, hope for the best,,,trust God all the way.

but again,,wish there is a way we can make our voices heard on this issue and not just on nairaland

May God help Nigerians cos obviously, our leaders care less about us
