Nigerian music sensation Ayo Balogun, aka Wizkid), will make his debut at popular Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival popular known as Coachella in Indio, California.

Coachella is one of the largest, most famous, and most profitable music festivals in the United States and all over the world.

The 2017 edition of the festival was attended by 250,000 people and grossed $114.6 million.

Wizkid who is one of Nigeria’s biggest exports, confirmed his participation tweeted on Tuesday,

“We taking the African culture to Coachella BTW and am bringing out everybody”.

A teenager has caused the death of a mum-of-two after he allegedly raped her using a car jack.

Danil Cheshko, 19, is being held by the police for almost tearing out his victim’s womb’ while perpetrating the dastardly act.


Lady identified as Svetlana Sapogova, 41, was beaten and raped after accepting a lift from her attacker, according to Russian reports.

Cheshko allegedly tore off her clothes in the car after he offered to take her home from a mutual friend’s funeral near Saratov in southern Russia.

He then “left her for dead” in the car, but she was noticed by passers-by who called the police and an ambulance.

There was chaos in Benin, the Edo State capital on Tuesday when an unidentified taxi driver, was killed by a petrol tanker, after he was allegedly pushed on the road by a policemen at a road checkpoint.

The incident which occurred around 3rd East Circular Road, by Igun Junction, caused traffic logjam on the ever busy Akpakpava road and all other adjourning roads, as all the link roads were blocked .

Reports say the police operatives stopped the victim who was said to be with his wife and two children in the car, and demanded for N100 bribe from him of which he refused and an altercation ensued.

In the process of the altercation a policeman allegedly pushed him on the road and was crushed by a moving petrol tanker.
