Nollywood actress Habibat Jinad, in a new Instagram post claimed that she saw Otedola bridge on fire,long before the incident occurred.

Habibat Jinad who claimed that before the father of her son died, it was shown to her twice by God and she delivered the message to him and his family also added that God showed her in a dream that an actress might be in trouble soon, but according to her, she doesn’t know how to tell her because she might take it up.

The Lagos State Government has released an official statement to the press over the tanker explosion which occurred yesterday, June 28,2018

The State Government in its statement noted that it’s commiserating with the families of the 9 victims confirmed dead as well as those injured or affected by the fire incident

The statement which stated that its thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims read;

On behalf of the Lagos State Government, we extend our deepest commiseration to the families of persons who lost their lives as well as properties to the incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this time of pain and grief.

As a government, we would not relent in putting measures in place to ensure safety of lives and property of all residents.

Harrison Gwamnishu, an activist who shared the story online quoted a resident saying ‘Chigozie does all the domestic work in the house, sells pure water during the day and yet they won’t allow the poor boy have peace’.

So apparently Odion Ighalo is not happy playing as a lone striker in Nigeria’s coach Gernot Rohr’s 3-2-3-1 formation

After the defeat of Nigeria by Coratia, Ighalo has taken lots of crticism for his low performance during the football star fears he could be made a scapegoat for the team’s failure in Russia.

Recall that Alizee and her daughter, Petra, were found dead on April 15 in their house at Bella Vista Tower, Banana Island, Ikoyi, in Lagos. Afterwards, her Danish husband, Peter Nielsen, was arrested and charged to court for allegedly killing the mother and daughter.

Sunday Scoop who reached out to Alizee’s father, Ali Madaki, reported that Mr Madaki insisted that the family’s lawyer would be in a better position to speak on the situation of things.

The family lawyer, Christian Love, once contacted said that as soon as the Director of Public Prosecutions had given his advice, a hearing date, given by the magistrate, court could be suspended.

He said,

“When a murder case is first reported, it has to go to the magistrate court so that the accused person can be remanded in prison. Afterwards, they will need to wait for the DPP’s advice. Once they get the DPP’s advice, the case will be assigned to a judge.”
They are trying to manage the information because if they don’t do things properly, certain things will be in the public space and it will affect the case.”

Speaking on the defendant’s demand to carry out a DNA test on the husband, Love said it was the responsibility of the judge to either refuse or accept. He said, “Anything that happens in the court is between the defendant’s counsel and the state prosecutor. The family lawyers can only watch because it is a criminal matter. We can be seen but cannot be heard. We can tell the state that we have evidence but we cannot present it ourselves. We are at the mercy of the state, except if they appoint a special persecutor, which we demanded but they refused.”

The lawyer insisted that they would put the state on its toes to ensure that justice is served. “We are not for the state; we are for the family and we want justice for Zainab and Petra. We will put the state on its toes to ensure justice is done. Defendants are more powerful in murder trials. The court will rather free 99 criminals than to prosecute one innocent criminal. That is why prosecutors must be on top of their games,” he added.
