The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, has announced plans by the state government to help owners of businesses that were vandalized or looted by hoodlums during the crisis that erupted in the state on Tuesday, October 20 2020.



Hamzat disclosed this in a tweet posted on his Twitter handle on Friday, October 23 2020. The tweet also contained a link to a form that the store owners are expected to fill.

“If you are a Lagos based business and your store got looted/vandalized this week, please fill this form by @LSETFhttps:///lwPiXvFzTp. Let’s do what we can to support you,” he tweeted.

Kwara State Government has condemned the looting of a warehouse housing COVID-19 pallatives located around the Ilorin International Airport.



Hundreds of residents on Friday October 23 2020,broke into the warehouse and carted away food items like noodles, spaghetti, rice, sugar, among others. Video footages and photos shows some people using motorcycles, trucks and buses to transport looted items from the warehouse.

IK Osakioduwa is calling for help for gunshot victims of the Lekki toll gate army shootings.

The media personality said most of the victims are in the hospital with the bullets still in their bodies because they need to have X-ray done first before the bullets are removed and there’s no X-ray machine available.

He wrote: “Some of the gun shot victims from the Lekki Toll shooting have been at Grandville Trauma centre (Opposite VGC) unable to take the bullets out because they need X-rays done. Please reply if you know a hospital that has an X-ray machine and technician present.”
