Happy sunday to everyone in the house. Please, the houx i want to know if student are been given complete access to their block account at their arrival in Germany without restricting the access to the account. Please i need response please.
You don't have access to your account upon your arrival because you would need an address to activate the account in the bank and after 2 working days you will be able to witdraw from the counter. My advice for you is to come with enough money 500-600 to cater for your bills before you can witdraw money from your account.

I wish you a successful journey to DEUTSCHLAND!

@all..i am so sorry i have not been here,i feel guilty cos this thread helped me a whole lot but i have not been able to contribute my own quota here.
I will like to advice you all prospective applicants to RHINE-WAAL UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES to make sure they have all the requirments and also I repeat to try and get admission into some other universities in berlin, breme, frankfurt or liezpeq cos this Kleve na village o........nothing here, and so boring..I am planning to transfer to some other universities uptown in the next session....you cannot get a good job here.
But if you are someone that likes a very quite environment and live a triangle life i swill recommend this place for you...
But i will also advice you to apply here and transfer later,if you find it hard to get admission into some uptown universities...
LEARN GERMAN LANGUAGE O,SOME GERMANS DONT EVEN WANT TO TALK TO YOU ONCE YOU SPEAK ENGLISH,THEIR ENGLISH IS BAD SO THEY WONT WANT TO FALL THEMSELVES HAND...SO THEY IGNORE YOU....
i will be posting here every sundays of my experience here.....i am so occupied wwith class work, tests, and assignments.....i misseed alot of classses cos i came in late....one love people
yeah kleve is a village and very boring. .but kamp linfort is not a village..there are opportunities here too and jobs ..also duisburg and dusseldolf not far from here..with your semester ticket you can go to all this places..my church is in dusseldolf and students live there too because there are job opportunities. And about the language tin..na war abeg..very frustrating
make una learn this language before coming here ooo..this people hate english with passion..mehn I don lost tire..thanks to bissiejoe and kayusboss

Like i've always said learning the language in Naija is key to achieving lots here, learning it here from scratch is nice but not easy, as the teachers wont explain to you in English only in German but in Nigeria you have that advantage.
yes ooooo it's very important to learn from naija and here I cant join the class bcoz they have gone far so till next semester. .I have a question to ask, is it possible to postpone my exams till next semester because I have alots to cover

Guten morgen people! am sorry i have been away for awhile..the education here has been really stressful and hectic for me it's not beeen easy atall..just trying to integrate with the german system because i have missed 7weeks lectures and lectures on 2 of my courses will end nextweek so i have to drop them.now am concentrating on 4courses and damn they have really gone far and i have alots to cover plus research works and presentation..not easy atall.Another thing am regreting right now is not learning the language before leaving naija..chai it's frustrating because 90% of this people speak german and if not because of BISSIEJOE AND KAYUSEBOSS maybe i would have packed my things and go back to naija out of frustration(just maybe)..big thanks to BISSIEJOE AND KAYUSEBOSS damn God is really using them for me.(PLEASE LEARN THIS LANGUAGE BEFORE COMING HERE).Also the hunt for accommodation is not been easy atall and very expensive(from 300-500euros monthly) so try your best to secure a place before coming here if you dont wanna spend close to 100euros daily on hotel except you have someone to accommodate you for awhile.

GUYS PLEASE BARE WITH ME OOO I NO BE INGRATE OOOO NA JUST THE WORKLOAD WEY TOO MUCH AND THE LECTURES HERE JUST BE LIKE MAGIC TO ME..WAS JUST LOOKING LIKE A MUMU..CHAI SEE AS BISSIEJOE AND KAYUS DEY LAUGH ME FOR CLASS TODAY..GOD DEY SHA

Okay let me tell you my story..I mailed the embassy on tuesday as adviced by a friend and just an hour later I got their reply saying they are stil yet to hear from the aliens authority.Just on thursday a german friend of mine in rhine waal called me on thursday afternoon to ask about my visa because she thought I would be travelling on the friday..I told her the response I got from the embassy and immediately she called the aliens authority in wesel to ask about my application. They asked her for my details which she knows and they said they would get back to her in few minutes. She was called back and they told her my docs just arrived from Nigeria that day and they will send it back to Nigeria immediately..though according to what she said, the embassy mailed them the online copy of the docs on tuesday(which was the day I mailed the embassy about my application) and that they just got the fax copy on thursday. My friend told me to call the embassy to ask them if they got anything from the aliens authority I said ok but I didn't call them until friday when I mailed them but no response till now(I know they don't take fridays serious). So am hoping to get the goodnews tomorrow morning.

Note: I called rhine waal the tuesday I mailed the embassy and the lady told me I have to be in school on friday 14th or I forget it this year..chai I just cut the call ni.But to be sincere, this waiting period is crazy damnit..all thanks to the german machines family for calming me down atall time.

Brothers and sisters please help me thank the Lord for his Devine favour in my life, most of you read about my ugly incidents on the 30th of last month, when I was robbed of my passport and student visa and all my school certificates.l just arrived Germany today with my sister who is also my sponsor, my visa was isue on Friday ,and getting a new passport was a Devine connection,l spoke with about three immigration officers who told me nothing less than a hundred thousand naira for duration of four weeks, but imidiately my sister arrived she call some one in abuja who did it for 50 thousand and I got it in one week. Oh the embassy, God bless germans, the lady in charge of my file, was so kind and concern about my health after she read my email l sent to her . my school also never ceased senting me mail every now and then to know about my well being and that they are praying for me, the proffersor sent a very wonderful mail to the embassy that makes me to wonder why I deserve this favor, my amazing sister who never looked back spending her money on every move we make,l have not spend one naira since I started this journey till now,how can I ever pay back this woman who is more than a mother to me, God bless her with all the good things of life. Amen
Wow!!! Thank God ooooo am very happy for you and pray may your testimony be full.Your sister is indeed a great person and may God bless her richly.

angry Mr Methuselah...So he crossed the line by asking you to read the email he sent to you. Is that too much a favor or what Survival of this great thread is as a result of the unrelenting extraordinary assistance the likes of Topeajis, wonderbobs, emeka, nimakor (just to mention few) rendered even when we ask for the silliest ones. That's just by the way smiley. You entitled to to decide who you help.

Dear Nairalanders grin grin, saying studies has been intensive is a complete understatement.
Now I realise why our O'levels WILL never be equivalent to the German arbiter. Germans are on another level entirely. Been trying to play some catching up games and gradually we are getting there (all thanks to my wonderful classmates).

@Eke nwa neh( I hope I got that right) ...we've had our differences but trust me you have my best wishes.

BREAKING NEWS
My people, I just got a call this morning from my friend in Germany that now if you want to invite someone from any West African country Nigeria inclusive, you have to pay money. 1700€ for 1 month visa, 2000€ for two months visa and so forth...ie with letter of invitation.
He said it all because of the Ebola outbreak. if any one gets visa now I think the person is lucky. He even asked if any one has gotten the study visa recently. I told him that I don't know.
May the good Lordnot allow this to hinder us from going to Germany o.

Hell house, is enrollment the same thing as the online registration thing? I was instructed by the university to register on their website using a temporary user name and password and at the end of the process, I was asked to print out a document, sign, date and attach a passport photo and send together with my health insurance which I already did some weeks ago. Is this what is usually referred to as enrollment? I need an urgent response please as I was asked to come to the embassy and I intend to do that tomorrow and wouldn't want to appear like a fool if am asked any question regarding enrollment deadline when I don't fully understand what its all about.

Thanks in anticipation of your responses.
What school are you going and what is your enrolment deadline? You need to have transferred your semester fee before you can enrol(I stand to be corrected). Don't worry jare you will be highly favoured..embassy will not set any exam for you, your faith is important God
bless you bro.
