Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by DANNIEmore: 4:23pm On Jan 03, 2022 |
Me sef want to know this. Because I am also fully vaccinated and even have the booster but was still infected with omicron shortly after my return from the UK (Note, I live in Germany). I couldn’t return back to work because even after isolating for 14 days, I still tested positive until 2 weeks later after series of repeated pcr tests before I eventually tested negative. Meanwhile, just before I first tested negative (tested negative twice before I was allowed to work again), our chief prof already declared me non contagious. Perhaps my story (less than a month old) could help someone and, anyone interested/ or might have personal question(s) about the covid, pls do not hesitate to write me as I’ll always respond to see how I can help from my little knowledge and experience so far. Stay healthy everyone! justwise: 3 Likes |

sjj3: Hi, continue to take your medications and I guess you should be isolating for 14 days so, I'll recommend you take the pcr test again at the end of your isolation. Sadly, one can't tell when you'll test negative again as this depends on certain factors such as but not limited to the severity of the illness, immunocompromised systems but, your gp should be able to declare you non contagious depending on the viral load in your system after series of repeated pcr test done at certain intervals. With that, you should be able to travel ideally. I wish you a fast recovery. |
Good afternoon people and compliment of the season, Pease can I use 28day old statement of account that was printed out two weeks ago for CAS request and ViSA application? Hi, I would rather first send this statement to my institutions visa team to either approve or not. Goodluck 1 Like |
@justwise Compliments of the season. While you are here let me repeat a question asked earlier without response. The oanda rate used is that of the date you submit your online application or the date of your biometrics? With the way this pounds is rising on Oanda I have to check. Someone with a margin of extra 1.5m on top of the amount required at todays rate shld be safe right? Hoping it will not appreciate past that by the 4th. [/ Although you directed this question to Oga at the top, I’ll just add my own idea for you. With the extra 1.5m, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about at least for this period mentioned. You’ve done well and given a very great margin enough to compensate possible fluctuations. Goodluck! 1 Like |

What is right and what is wrong? Who is right and who is wrong? „Wrong doing is to a large extent of confused ignorance“ Everyone is responsible for their decision(s). The rationale behind the marriage institution is still vague even by those who founded it and then made it practicable to us today. Why we marry, what we marry, who we marry and even when to marry, MANY of us don’t know! Sorry, I thought here was for the UK VISA and not for gender superiority challenge? Come on mates, let’s get a square- chin and roll into the new year stronger and achieving those dreams we have come here for. Very important to be careful of what we ask or write here. We actually don’t have to expose some sensitive things that will eventually endanger us all either now or later. Happy new year in advance to Y’all, from Hamburg. 5 Likes |

EnnyEsther: You can try to hide or remove all personal information on the decision letter and post here to understand its exact content. I know someone who rcently went via similar situation. I may be able to explain certain stuffs even though both the process and outcome sometimes could be tricky. |

MercyJJC: You ain't filly vaccinated so, you gonna do pre-departure pcr test also not later older than 48 hours before leaving plus, you'll have to book/ order for both day 2 and day 8 covid kit before flying. Don't forget without this booking, you not gonna be given a boarding pass by your airline plus, you'll need the booking reference to fill in your passengers locators form that you'll definitely be presenting at the point of entry. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Merry Christmas and compliments of the season all. I would like to clarify from those fully vaccinated who just travelled: After visa issuance what do I need to do as regards COVID, as a fully vaccinated student? - Do I need a pre-departure test result? I would rather confirm this from the airline I'll be taking. Usually not but safer to discuss with the airline. - On arrival, do I do both Day-2 & Day-8 tests or just Day-2 test? Day 2 only but, must remain indoors until result is out. (Don't forget to book this before flying as you'll be needing the reference number/ confirmation for your airline and point of entry. - Can you recommend a good test provider in the UK? Kindly navigate via this link : https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider Goodluck Thanks
5 Likes 2 Shares |

Faithhill2: 1- do you have any regrets going there? NO 2- Would you have preferred to still be in Nigeria? NO 3- Would you advise someone to come to Germany or another country? YES and, I don't know about other countries. I have tried to visit the US, UK, Canada and some other countries for some period now but my point still remains, life is about SATISFACTION. Don't forget human wants!.. I understand the worries about the language situation in Germany but trust me, if you devote time studying, researching and learning, thats nothing to worry about. 4- better still just remain in Nigeria? SAME AS 2 above. In all, life remains struggling for survival. No where in the world is easy despite sometimes we may consider certain factors that could help facilitate success but then, there are still lots of people in Nigeria who are doing well therefore, whatever our hands finds to do, do it with all your might/ strength. If we also put in the efforts we put here in Nigeria, we would still be something too. Finally, im only responsible for my experience(s) and this is a great part of ethnography- Personal reflections. That is to say, our experience(s) may vary so carefully understand my stand on your questions. Goodluck! 7 Likes |

justwise: Bro, sorry I don't expect that from you. We should rather emuliate your personality even though we are responsible to our respective school of thought but, you've gone too experienced for this. Still, I can contest what you believe! Whites and Blacks are same. Whatever happens within the whites also happens within the black race. We all have our individual experience(s) and can only make personal reflections based on that. Lets remove this trait of inferiority or superiority attached to color thingy. Simply, there are lot of whites who also oppresses the blacks and care less about humanity while there are also lot of blacks who helps and queue in the supporting system in their little ways so what the color thing about? HUMANS ARE HUMANS!!! 11 Likes |

sekinatmi: Lol. Well, documents I sent via them since October last year still says "in bag" or so on their website even though the documents arrived its destination within 3 weeks I sent them as the school confirmed that to me. However, would advice you contact the school to ask if they received it yet or not then, you should pray to God as last option. Hope this helps. Stay Blessed. |

Cole001: Usually no specific time from survey but, we could estimate within 3-6 weeks at most. Relax and I can assure if you guys don't get it before this week runs out; hopefully within next week, you should get it. However, please check your spam and/or other of your email folder(s) where incoming mails could possibly be trapped in. Hope this helps and sure, this update is still subject to further modification(s) where necessary. God Bless!!! 1 Like |

dantaynya: Hi friend, been reading all your posts- enquiries and all and thanks to all veterans supporting you so far here. However, In support to what nijadove had said, the embassy would want the student to connect or relate his/her previous education/studies to the new one he/she would be going for. Nevertheless, still in her case, she should be able to connect Psychology to healthcare administration since there is clinical psychology.. This should be very easy to connect. Before any other interview or decision(s), allow her do her home work exhaustively. Let her come read this thread from pg 1 of part 1 to this point. I tell you truth, her story would change. . #myfreedonation# |

Williamso: I think succeeding in saying that would still depend on your answers to other questions. However, when I did my first interview Feb 12, 2014, I told the old lady YES I would be staying behind to do my Ph.D and she said fine. Told her I love education and want to become a Prof so as to touch lives in future. She said my answer was unique and different from other students' because, they all claimed they would return back after either their BSc or Msc but they never do so. Was denied then shall. Reason because- maintenance not ensured as I used a sponsorship letter and then, my sponsor was oweing alot. I gave same answer to the Asian looking woman during my second interview in Oct last year and I was granted the visa..I see everything that, you should be convincing enough and mind you, I was able to answer all questions correctly even to the one of city's population, etc.. Just ALL questions confidently and correctly answered so, do your home work very well!!! #mypersonalexperience# 1 Like 1 Share |
